(TW- Blood, slight gore description)

  Time went in slow motion.
L4FF had released the trigger the second he'd noticed the danger, leaving Dino to fall as the rocket made contact with the ceiling, letting out an ear breaking boom as the ceiling cracked and caved, plummeting downward. The bat lunged, giving himself no time to think before turning back to his human form and grabbing Dino, pulling him out of the way, barely out of reach from the explosion for himself. though the furry may not have been so lucky...
They hit the floor just as the ceiling caved, collapsing right on top of L4FF, a deep, robotic scream echoing throughout the open space before going silent.
Tbh turned his gaze to Dino, who's face and hoodie had been scorched entirely. blood leaked from the melted scales, already beginning to pool on the floor. The wound didn't seem like it'd heal anytime soon, and the crab was absolutely sure it was scarred. The reptile sat up, gazing at Tbh in shock.
The vampire couldn't help but stare at his left eye, or, well, left eye socket. It looked as if it had been completely fried- it was straight up 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦.
the scene reminded Tbh he was kind of thirsty... no. not right now. no.
Dino shuddered, he was still a bit in shock.
Tbh was still alive! Or was this a dream? Maybe they were both dead, and this was the afterlife? Cod, his face hurt. Everything hurt. He reached up to his cheek, stunned to feel flesh instead of the usual, smooth scales. he winced as the area hed touched began to sting.
"Dino!"
He heard a shout behind him, and turned to see Woolf running straight at him, pouncing him in a hug. He winced, a wave of pain shooting through him. Woolf pulled away, quickly apologizing.
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, his ear twitching as he strained to hear what he already knew he wouldn't. Dino just shrugged, immediately regretting the painful movement. He was alive, did that count?
"Who am I kidding, of course not-" Woolf muttered to himself. (because that makes sense) Dinos mind started racing, tuning Woolf out as he tried to process what had just happened. He could feel his heartbeat from his entire left side, the sound almost deafening as his head pounded.
"T-thanks." He breathed, turning back to Tbh as the words amplified the pain in his throat he didn't notice was there.
"It was the least I could do." Tb smiled, looking at the rubble behind him nervously.
"Sorry to interrupt the moment-" a voice started behind him. "But how do we get out of here?" Dino looked up to see Nadwe waiting for his answer.
Oof came up behind, clearing his throat. "I have an idea, I'll be right back." He said, quickly running off. "...okay?" Nadwe said, mildly confused.
Everything slowly started hitting Dino at once. "Where's B-Blaza?" Dino asked, scanning the room, his mind racing. 'please be okay, please be okay-'
"I'm her-"
Blaza came up behind Nadwe, with Socks sitting on his shoulder. He froze once Dino was in sight, his eyes ballooning as he saw the scorched reptile. A wave of relief washed over the furry. "y-you okay?" Dino questioned, attempting to stand, the attempt instead sending another shock of pain through him as he collapsed again.
"Forget me- are you?!? Blaza panicked, sprinting over. Dino opened his mouth to answer, but was swiftly interrupted. "Does anyone have first-aid or something-" he said, crouching down to almost eye-level with Dino.
The sudden movement caused Socks to fall from his shoulder, landing on Dinos snout, making an "eep" sound as he landed facefirst on the furry half-melted scales. The tiny spaceman stared Dino in the eye for a second before scooting back, eyes wide with shock and a bit of fear.
Blaza panicked a bit, apologizing as he picked him up again, sliding his hood off and placing SocksForSmoll in it hastily as the smol man stared in horror at his blood-covered spacesuit. Dino blinked, a bit shocked himself. "I-it's fine-" the moment was interrupted by Oof racing back, his rapid footsteps echoing throughout the massive, empty chamber. "I- found a massive hole over there, it leads straight toward the surface!" He announced.
"Oh, thank cod-" Nadwe said, relieved. "Yep. Sure is convenient, huh?" Oofs expression was unreadable behind the jet black shades, but his voice was tinted with nervousness.
Dino didn't really care at the moment though, and attempted again to stand, only to get the same result as his first try. Blaza stood up himself, more careful not to drop Smol boi this time, and reached down to help Dino up. The furry took his hand, shakily lifting himself off the stone floor. He nearly fell again once he was up, but Blaza pulled him back to his feet by his hood. The furry slowly balanced himself, letting out a sigh of relief as he managed not to fall.
"Can you walk?" Tbh questioned. The furry slowly attempted to take a step, instead nearly falling again. He saved himself on his own this time, but he got his answer.
"Here-" Tbh started, gently lifting Dinos not scorched arm over his shoulder, making himself into a human crutch, doing his best not to look at Dino.
"Alright then, uh-" Oof started. "Exits this way." He said, slowly starting to walk backwards the direction he came. With Tbhs help, Dino started to limp after him, followed closely behind by Blaza, with Woolf and Nadwe a few more feet behind.
