a: being gay is something i've always struggled with because i've never really fit that stereotype. i don't paint my nails or hang out with girls (not saying all gay guys do, that's just what society makes being gay out to be), so it was difficult for me to come to terms with who i am, which is patrick stump. i don't fit any stereotype, i'm just me. and being able to say that i'm the first gay baseball player that doesn't give a shit about what people think makes me pretty fucking happy.

q: how did it feel to take pete's gay-ginity?
a: it was very special to me because pete had never felt that way about any other guy before. and to say i'm the first man - & hopefully the only - that's gotten to have pete that way makes it even more special.

q: do you have an idea for a career after your retire from baseball, and are you going out for any major league teams when you finish college?
a: i'm double-majoring in psychology and english currently, and if the whole baseball thing doesn't work out, i'm thinking about law school so that i'll have three backup plans. as for the major league teams, the cubs will always have a special place in my heart, but the mariners are probably my number one team at the moment because washington's become my second home.

q: how did pete 'feel'?
a: omg. (( he was a virgin(!!!) it was fucking amazing. best sex i've had in a while, if i'm honest. ))

a: of course i do. the promise ring i got him is my personal promise to him that i will always love him. i hope to replace that ring with a bigger one and ask him to be my husband sometime in the future.

a: i do believe that pete and i have hurt each other quite a lot, but we always gravitate back to one another. sure, there are other fish in the sea, but all of the guys i've been with before pete meant almost nothing to me. i don't think i could let pete go or stand to see him with anyone else.

a: it's no secret that i'm two years older than trick, so i'll be graduating two years before him. we have not discussed what we're going to do when i graduate next year, but i don't plan on breaking up with him. as for my career, i'd love to continue on with baseball, and with a national championship under my belt, it would be very possible. if that doesn't work out, i always have the business degree i'm working on. i'll do anything to make patrick happy, including not continuing my baseball career if he doesn't want me to.

q: why did you decide to start writing stories?
a: i had all of these ideas floating around in my head, and i had to get them out. boom, this account and these books were born. :))

q: how did you come up with this idea? and what made you want to rewrite this?
a: i came up with this idea one day just sitting in my room. i was bored and didn't have anything else to do, and i was just like 'hey, maybe this would be a good idea' and i wrote it. as for rewriting it, i wrote the first one when i first began writing. i wanted to rewrite it because i thought it was a good idea, but the first copy of it was such shit that it needed to be done justice. so i actually made a plot and tried to stick to it, and i hope i'm doing a good job. i wanted this story to be about a boy struggling to come to terms with who he is, finding someone to love him for who he is, and then having to fight to keep his relationship going. and i think that pete and patrick have been through so much shit that if they didn't truly love each other, they probably would've given up ages ago. whether it be the press, their parents, exes, or anything, they have faith that they will get through it. and i think that they'll realise soon enough that they have everything they need, which is simply each other.
