"You are not worth being with."
Jin dumps his unfinished coffee into the trashcan by his desk and leans back in the chair, gripping his hair as he tries hard to fight away the tears threatening to fall. He was at work, soon to meet with a new client, but his focus was not there for the first time in a long time. He was trying his best to pull himself together, but Jungkook's words and behavior from the previous night was permeating his thoughts, making him emotional each time he recalls how his husband stared at him.
The painful words that left him, he saw a different side of his husband, something he had never experienced before. He was trying to remind himself that it was because Jungkook was angry; he didn't mean any of it.
A knock at his office door alerts him, and he sits up in his chair, wiping away the tears that were lining his eyes and sniffled. Taking a deep breath, he heads to the door.
"Mr. hottie is here," Jimin says with a smile with his laptop in hand. "Do you want him in here or one of the conferences room?"
Jin returns his smile, "let's meet in the conference room down the hall. I will grab my stuff. Let IT know to be on standby in case we have any problems. I heard some of the servers were lagging last night, and I don't have time to deal with that today."
"Oh, okay, I will. Are you okay though you seem sad?"
"I am good. Jungkook and I fought again last night, so my mind is a bit unstable right now, my marriage is crumbling, and I don't know what to do. He keeps asking for a divorce and even told me to move out."
Jimin shifted the laptop in his arms, freeing one of his hands as he leans in a hugs Jin, "I am sorry you are going through this. You know he is only threatening you, don't let him do that. You guys will work it out. Listen, let's go out later; we can do something to cheer you up."
"Thank you, but I think I should head home tonight; maybe tomorrow we can go out. Anyway, let's go to this meeting before we have another upset client on our hands."

Kim Namjoon eyes didn't leave Seokjin as he presented why their company was a better fit to service his company's needs. At first, when he met Seokjin, he was admiring him for his stunning features, but as Seokjin presented, he found himself immersed in how knowledgeable and charming he was. He wasn't only handsome, but he was intelligent and carried himself with such grace as he presented. He now understood why he came highly recommended. As a billionaire, he didn't do business with just anyone. He hated bringing in new people into his company to assist him with strategic planning, but his latest business line required some outside help of experts, and he was told Seokjin was the best man for the job; he now realized his source was right. Seokjin was more than perfect for the job; he was perfect for other things too.
"Mr. Kim, do you have any questions?" Jin asked as he finishes up his presentation.
"I do, but could we discuss those over lunch, it's been a long morning, and I am hungry."
"Oh, right, of course." Jin turned to Jimin, "have Beomgyu make a reservation for us." Jimin, without hesitation nod and excused himself to go as Jin requested.
Jin shuffled through one of his folders he had brought with him, removing the business plan template he had worked on for Namjoon's business and pushed it towards him. "I know I discussed this during the presentation, as a model with typical used, but I created a sample so you could see what it would look like for your company. I have also forecasted what the outcome could be within ten years."
Namjoon looks at the outline, admiring how detailed everything was, even the timeline of practically achievable goals Soekjin had referenced to. "I see you only sign a minimum of five years for these deals; what if I wanted to test things out with your company and do a one year?" He didn't want to commit to something long term and have it not work for his benefit; he was a businessman and knew things didn't always work according to his expectation.
"If you have to test things out, it means you are not confident with what my company has to offer, and if that is the case, there would be no reason to move forward with doing business. For every client I do business with, I want them to be confident in what my company is proposing, the service we can provide. If you have doubts after hearing my presentation and looking over the materials I have shared, then I suppose you should consider if this is the company you want advising you." Seokjin worked his ass off when it came to his job and knew many of his clients always tried to wiggle their way out of a long-term binding agreement, even when they knew they wanted his services, but he never gave favor to any and wouldn't start now. His father used to operate under that model, but not him.
Standing up, Namjoon smiled as he walks closer to Jin, "let's discuss this over lunch. I am confident in your company and you. I believe we can create a strong partnership."

Jungkook's Pov:
"Daddy, are you and Appa fighting?" my daughter asked as she settles in the car after I picked her up from school.
I looked at her before pulling out of the parking lot and sigh, "why do you ask?"
"I heard you and him arguing last night, and you sounded upset; you said, you and I deserve better than Appa. What does that mean? Does it mean Appa is going to leave us?" Her eyes were filled with tears causing me to stop the car and pull over to an empty lot.
Unbuckling my seatbelt, I turned to face her and pulled her head to my chest, hugging her, "I am sorry you had to hear that. Appa and I, it's complicated right now."
She pulls away and stares at me, "what does that mean? Are you guys getting a divorce?"
My eyes widen, but I shouldn't have been surprised; I knew she was a smart girl, always was. "W-we are talking about it."
"Why? Is it because Appa doesn't come to my shows and stay at work late? Please don't get divorced because of that, please, daddy! I know Appa loves me, and I forgive him for not coming, don't be mad at him, please. My friend Maya's parents got divorced, and Maya is sad all the time; I don't want to be sad. If you get divorced, I will be sad, and I don't want Appa to take me away from you like Maya's Appa did. She doesn't see her dad for a long, long time."
I had to turn my head. I couldn't look at her. Her eyes were red as tears flood her cheeks. My daughter was one of my weaknesses, and it hurts me to see her like this. Rubbing my hand over my face, I pull myself together and look back at her, "Baby, your Appa and I are not thinking about divorce because of you, this has nothing to do with you, and he could never take you away from me. I don't know why Maya's parents aren't together anymore, or what happened why Maya can't see her other dad, but that would never happen with you and me. You are my baby girl, and you will stay with me forever."
She was in a temper, snifflingly repeatedly as she looked up at me, "s-so A-Appa w-won't t-take m-me?"
"No, of course not, you would stay with me."
She wiped her tears and leaned over on my shoulder. "o-okay, but still don't get a divorce, please."
I wanted nothing more than to make my daughter happy, but I wasn't happy. I had given everything to my marriage with Seokjin, dedicating myself to taking care of our family, filling the gaps he couldn't. Compromising at all times to fit what he wanted, but he was taking it all for granted.
He has been texting me all day, begging me to give us another chance and how much he will fix things. I don't think he understands, and he has destroyed the trust that once existed between us. I don't trust him anymore, and as much as I love him, if I stay, I will always doubt what we have. He chose his job over his family and our future; I think it's only fair. I leave him to be happy with what he loves the most.
"Ae Ri, daddy is sorry, but I don't want to be with your Appa anymore. We are not happy together. I want you to be happy, but if we stay together, those angry words you heard last night, you will hear them a lot more, and I don't want you to have to hear those."

"You are married?" Namjoon questioned, looking at Jin's ring.
Jin smiled and nod his head, "yes, over ten years now. How about yourself?"
"I was married twice, but those things never work out."
"Oh no, I am sorry to hear that."
Namjoon waved his hand, "don't, it's fine. Neither of my ex-husbands could understand me. They claimed I worked too much, nagged me constantly, even when I tried my best, it was never good enough. I got tired of it, they got tired of me, but it's funny they never got tired of collecting the spousal support they got granted. As a CEO, you can understand how demanding our work life is; seeing you have been married for ten years though, your husband must understand that. That's a good thing to have. I wish I had that."
Jin began picking at his food, "Umm, so five-year deal or no deal?"
A chuckle left Namjoon; he loved how Jin quickly brought each other their conversation that went off course back to business, "let's make it a ten-year deal."
