I was laying in bed, it was around 9 but I was too lazy to get up. Falling in and out of sleep. Suddenly I jumped awake .
Zzzt Zzzt
It was my phone, but who would text me this early?

A- hey
J- Hey
(By the way, J is me since I'm Jade)
A- Sup?
J- Ntm..U?
A- I'm okay, so many bruises tho
J- Yeah no duh
A- Heh..
J- I'm guessing you won't be outside for a while
A- Yeah, you can come over later tho...If you want
J- k maybe I will.
A- Ok, my brother is going to be at a friends house...and my parents are going to be out late.
J- Aha so you're going to be lonely.
A- Nah my parents insisted on someone being around to help, since I'm too sore to do a lot.
J- lol ok I'll be over at around 5
A- kk
I put my phone down and went to play on the computer.
Finally after like an eternity, I was watching the Titanic on Netflix when my phone buzzed.
A- Still coming over? Look at the time lol
I nearly screamed, realising I was so late. So I quickly grabbed my shoes and sweater, and if course my phone.
I walked outside, and since it was evening it was crisp, and a bit chilly out.
Knock knock.
"Who's there?"He said in a silly voice.
"Very funny" I said, trying not to smile.
Finally he let me in, and we went upstairs to his room....That's were all the good video games are.
His dog followed us, and hopped up on his bed.
"Who's a good girl? You are, yes you are Maya!" I made my voice like those weird people in the movies.
Andy smiled and sat down next to me. He told me his arms were too sore to play video games, and his mom wouldn't let him anyway. It was silent for a bit, since I didn't really know what to talk about.
"H-hey..Um.."
I raised an eyebrow, signaling that I was listening.
"Look, I just wanna say...Thank you."
"For what?" I asked.
"Scarring them away, and getting my parents. "
I didn't really know what to say, so my next words were kinda awkward.
"Yeah uh, I...didn't really know how to help so I guessed your parents did and-"
He stopped me though.
"No, what you did was right. If you hadn't got them off of me I could be in a hospital bed."
I remained silent, still in a loss for words.
"Austen said..that you were crying when he came to the door.." He said in a questioning kind of way.
"Yeah, um.." I cleared my throat.
"I was just worried, I didn't know if you'd be okay. Your face was all red and.. I just...Didn't want you to be hurt."
Actually, I really didn't know why I was crying. I just tried to say something so I wouldn't look like an idiot, sitting there just not knowing. It was sort of that feeling, where you didn't try to cry, but your body just let the tears out.
I snapped back to reality, after thinking about all this. What happened next was all a suprise..I didn't really know what to do.
I looked back at Andy, after starring off into space. His eyes were closed. I thought he was jut blinking or something. Though his eyes didn't open, and his face seemed to be growing bigger.
No, his face wasn't getting bigger, it was getting closer.
He leaned in, and in. I panicked.
Before I new it, I was moving out of the way. I lunged to the right. Though I had forgotten something very important. We were sitting on the edge of the bed. The edge.
Smack!
My body hit his hardwood floor. He opened his eyes quickly, to see what happened. He starred at me, confused, and awkward.
I gulped, waiting to hear what he would say.
"I...Uh, S-Sorry, I just thought- nevermind I just..."
He scratched the back of his head, awkwardly. Slowly I got up.
"Sorry, again..If you don't want to stay, you don't have to"
I nodded, trying not to look at him.
Though out of the corner of my eye, I noticed his face was bright pink.
So, here are my thoughts during his moment:
What was he- Oh my god....
He was trying to...kiss me...
What do I say to him...ugh. ..
I knew that in most of the movies, when someone avoids a kiss, one of the people would run away. I couldn't do that, it was too late. Plus, I just would feel terrible if I left.
"I...didn't know you felt that way"
I spat out a few words, so it wouldn't be awkward...though it still was.
"I'm sorry if that was too soon or whatever. I just didn't know you would fall on the floor."
I cracked a smile.
"No, I'm just clumsy."
But Andy didn't smile back. Instead he looked at the floor.
"I've known you for so long. Honestly I've felt like this since we were kids. As I grew older I shrugged those feelings off, thought I was just being silly. Though every time you told me you were asking a guy out, my heart sunk a little. I've been ignoring it for so long, but after you scarred them off, I realised something. I realised that you are an amazing person, and some day, some guy is going to swoop you up, out of my arms. I'd have to fake a smile and wish you well, just as always. I can't let that happen Jade. I can't let you go."
I was almost choking. My jaw nearly dropped. I was in utter shock.
