Sew about that new Pokémon episode on Dannon TV Network....

Well first I watched the Cartoon Network (Duart Dub) airing last night....here are my thoughts:

- Squishy was kept as Puni-chan's dub name

- We Get a 30 Second trash-y opening with lyrics so short they belong in a stocking on Christmas. Not to mention it has a song title that already has existence within the dannix inc dub version of Yugioh Arc V and it's cd soundtrack companion. All I can say is hope there is an extended version soon, because what we had here sucked cX

- Also Credits were cut from the CN airing for god knows what reason

- At least most of the dialogue stayed the same...and contrary to popular belief I liked Xerosic's dub voice...even tho I think Mike Pollock would have been a better actor choice anyway than whomever they ended up with (I'm betting on Dave Willis <:).

Early the next morning I watched the dannon tv network version of the episode...here are my thoughts:

- Squishy was still kept as well as most of the dialogue from the Du-art dub on Cartoon Network...some dialogue and voices changed tho but not anything too cringeworthy...

- The 1 minute and 30 second opening theme (entitled "Outsiders" by Against The Current) was slightly better, and somewhat fitted the premise more, still would it have killed them to have Ash sing the English equivalent of the theme from the jp version?! I think not. Also like the JP version, they kept "XY&Z" as part of the series title.

- well lookie here. they didn't delete the credits for the dannon tv network airing at least and they mentioned who voiced which character too. There are some cast changes tho at least for the dannon tv network airing:

Katie Siddel was credited for once, but gasping only as a Flare Grunt, Kaitlynn Montgomery voiced Celosia (in the Duart dub she's voiced by Jessica Pacquet, Samira Montes was Mable (credited usually as Samara Nayemi in Duart's dub of the show), David Willis was Xerosic, as well as well as the Flare grunt with the Houndour  (Unlike Duart where Xerosic was voiced by Abe Goldfarb, and the Grunt with the Houndour was Daman Mils.  oh yeah, I forgot David Willis said "Houndour Attack" as his character this time and not like Daman Mills who inadvertently said "Houndoom, Move Out!" like in the CN airing) XD and everyone else pretty much had the same va from the CN airing of the dub.

Oh well great start on both accounts of broadcast and dubbing keep up the (somewhat) good work XP
