one of those days
when satan roamed at my door
fearful thumping
bloody clock ticks
unsound sleeps, dark circles
chances of hearing breaking utensils
or raging screams anytime

her voices of accuses, infidelity scent in the shirt
change of plans, watery eyes
fake answers with violence returned
there goes another peaceful nightfall

rushed shield coming to help
attempt to stop something invisible
which was already late
where i used to comfort her with red shot eyes myself
whispering lies that things are not like how she thinks

i remembered she was the only one
who taught me,
never give someone or something a firm grip on
yourself which will eventually
break you
never cry in front of anyone else
except at temple
here i'm witnessing her decay
stone heart turning fragile

after, all the unreasonable dramatics
faked care, arguments
she convinces me
it is one of those fight between them
to which i respond, shaking my head with blotchy face;
this is the ruination of everything
they ever created
