whenever a selfless truth spills from my lips
i told those bidding birds at the sunset
to let you know about the turmoil, haunting my senses,

i told each creature i met all this time
about your crazy quirks and mixing ways,
whenever my eyes denies ease
i confessed my feelings in every way
possible, to foamy fountains or rustic rome
but i lied to myself until today, when the dusky sky turned pitch grey and rained on me
indicating that i told everyone about the truth but you.
