Amanda walked into Maria's room and stared at her. She started to take video of her snoring.

"Well aren't you a pretty sleeper?"
Amanda started to giggle at Maria.

"Well good night Maria" Amanda stopped taking video and went into her own room.

On Saturday, Maria woke up at 12 PM.

"Ugh. What time is it?"

Maria looked at the time and started to panic. She started to get ready quickly and rushed outside. She started her car and drove to the school. She parked her car in a free spot and ran to the a park bench in the middle of campus. At exactly 1 PM, the man from the club came around the corner to meet Maria.

"Hello...Maria"

"Hi...wait a minute. You're the guy who saved me"

"Yep"

"Why did you want me to meet you?"

"Well you see. I was hoping...you would want to go out with me"

"You mean on a date?"

"Exactly"

"Well. I guess it wouldn't hurt"

"Ok. I'll pick you up at 8"

The man starts to walk away.

"wait! I don't even know your name!"

"It's Faron!"

Faron walks around the corner quickly as Maria goes back to her car. She drove home and one the way back she thought of something.

"I didn't tell him where I lived"

Maria drove home and kinda got a little weirded out. She went straight to her room and checked her phone. She saw someone had left her a text. It was from mom. Hi sweetie, I just went out with your aunt and uncle Felicia and Matt. Be back soon, Love ya.

"Aww she's finally coming out of her shell"

Amanda came in with a grin on her face.

"What are you so happy about?"

"Well...Audric just...proposed!"

"What he did?!?"

"Yep"

"About time he grew a backbone"

"He had always had a backbone!"

"Yeah. Sure. That's why he always stutters when you're around"

"Exactly...wait a minute!"

Maria started to laugh as Amanda's face turned red out of embarrassment.

"Don't be grumpy Amanda. At least now we get to pick you a wedding dress"

"Yeah. I guess"

The two sisters hugged and waited for their mom to get home. At around 7 their mom came home and Maria started to get ready.

"MARIA! AMANDA! IM HOME!"

"OKAY!"

Maria finally finished at 7:50.

"MOM! IM GOING OUT!" Maria said as she started to walk out the door.

"OKAY SWEETIE!"

Maria walked outside and closed the door. At 7:55 Faron approached Maria with a bouquet of flowers.

"Hi Maria"

"Hi Faron. You're early"

"Yeah I know"

"So where are we going?"

"I'm taking you to that new Italian restaurant downtown"

"Ooh"

Faron beckoned Maria to his car. As Maria approached vehicle it was a new black grand caravan.

"Wow. Wait her you have a big family, or you plan on bringing a lot of food home to your house"

"It's both"

"Oh"

"What's wrong?"

"Oh...uh...nothing I'm fine"

Maria got into the passenger seat quickly and put her seatbelt on. Faron gave her an awkward look and then got in the drivers seat. He started the car and drove to the Italian restaurant. When they got there, the two got a booth table and waited for the waiter.

"So. Do you like this place?"

"Yeah. I've never seen so much food before"

"Well i hope you don't mind staring at me for a long time. Because this place takes forever to bring out the food"

"I do. That's why I brought my phone" Maria got her phone from her purse and started playing.

"Excuse me?"

"I'm kidding!" Maria put her phone face down on the table and looked up at Faron.

"Oh thank god. For a moment I thought you were gonna let me be bored this whole time"

"You're so clingy. And easy to tease. Almost like my sister"

"Well is your sister the Quarterback of a college football team?"

"Nope. But she is engaged to the most popular boy in high school"

"Oh my god really?!?"

"Yep"

"I'm just so happy for her..."

The waiter comes and interrupts the two's conversation.

"May I take your order?"

"Ah yes, I will have the Italian soda"

"And for you miss?"

"I'll have an iced tea"

"Of course"

The waiter walks away into the kitchen.

"Wow. You're really embracing the Italian cuisine"

"Oh like you even know what an Italian soda is"

"So. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna try it"

"You say tomato, I say tomatoe"

"Yeah yeah"

The two talked for awhile and, eventually, ordered their food.

"That took forever"

"Oh stop being dramatic"

"Hey. I am the queen of drama, so I can be as dramatic as I want"

"And who says your the queen of drama"

"Everyone who calls me a drama queen. Duh"

"Okay. Okay"

The two waited for their food for about 20 minutes until the waiter came out with both of their meals.

"Anything else?"

"Um...may I have some more iced tea"

"Of course ma'am"

The waiter took her cup and went into the kitchen.

"Did you hear what he just called me?!?"

"Yes ma'am"

"I'm just going to eat now"

Maria started to eat and some food fell on her shirt.

"Do you always it like that"

"Don't judge me"

Maria continued eating her food and after about half an hour the two finished eating.

"So do you want dessert?"

"Is that even a question?"

"Okay what do you want for dessert?"

"Cheesecake!"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah"

"With what you eat I'm surprised your really skinny"

"Hey! Remember that whole judging thing?"

"Right. I am sorry"

"You better be"

The waiter comes and stops the two from bickering.

"So anything else?"

"Ah, we will have a cheesecake to share"

"Of course"

After about 5 minutes the waiter brings out a large slice of cheesecake and 2 forks. Maria takes a fork and eats a bite. Faron takes his fork and starts to eat some too. The two use their forks to fight each other for some of the last pieces. After they finish, Faron pays for it all and the two head back to the caravan. As they get inside Faron stares at Maria.

"What?"

"You know you're really beautiful"

"I know. Especially when I'm asleep"

Maria laughs a bit after she says this.

"Well I guess I better get you home"

"Yeah"

Faron starts the car and drives to Maria's house. Faron walks Maria to her front door and holds her hands in his own.

"I guess I'll see you at school"

"Yeah. If all the other girls don't kill me"

"I wish I could kiss you but, I probably shouldn't"

"Why's that?"

"Because your engaged, remember?"

"Oh my god. You're never gonna forget that, are you?"

"Nope"

"Well I guess I'll see you Monday"

Faron goes to kiss her but Maria backs away.

"I...I'm sorry"

"No. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that"

"It's okay"

"I...I'll see you Monday"

Maria walks into her house and stood in front of the door. As she stood there, the lights to the living room turned on. Maria saw Amanda standing in the middle of the living room with her arms crossed.

"Well, well, well"
