(F/n)'s POV

What if...what if we lived in a world without Titans? There's so many questions to that thought. What would we do? Would life be a little boring without the Titans?

How would a Titan-free world effect us? I have a lot of "what if's" about my life. What if I never met Levi, Farlan and Isabel? What if I never joined the scouts. What if I died instead of my mother? Or...what if my mother never died? How would my life be if all of those were true...

Pain.

Black.

Silence.

Nothingness.

That's all I can physically feel, see, hear and emotionally feel.

I can start to feel...peace, now.

I can also see something...but I know I'm just dreaming it.

It's...

It's my....

It's my mother.

"(F/n)?" I hear her faintly say.

"Yes?" I reply.

"(F/n)?" She says again.

"What?" I repeat.

I start to hear her sob...?

"Mom, what's wrong?" I ask.

I look over and I see my father walk up behind her.

What is he doing?

He had a smug look on his face...one I knew I couldn't trust.

"(F/N)!" She screamed.

She wouldn't stop crying.

"Mom? What's happening?" I was starting to get confused with all of this.

Can she not hear me?

She was on her knees now, and it felt like I was being pulled away from her.

And just like that, she was gone.

Then, out of nowhere, I slowly began to feel pain again. But this time, it felt like I was being ripped in half.

Oh my God, what's happening?!

It hurt like hell! I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. I had no control over my body, whatsoever.

Time Skip

Levi's POV

I followed cadets Ral and Bozado with Schultz and Jinn close by, as we neared a forest.

"This is where it happened..." Bozado said.

I looked around, riding a bit off into the distance to see if I could find that motherfucker.

As soon as I saw it, I didn't hesitate to jump off my horse and attack it.

In the blink of an eye, the Titan fell to the ground. Instead of getting back on my horse, I shot myself up onto a tree branch that was far from the ground.

Honestly, I didn't feel like continuing this expedition. I just wanted to be with her again.

(F/n)...what happened?

I lifted my head up when I had a thought come to mind.

What if...I killed myself right now? Just to be with her again? No-I can't do that. She wouldn't like that if I ended my life for her sake.

A few tears escaped my eyes, but I was quick to wipe them away. "Fuck, you can't cry now!" I quietly scolded myself.

I started to feel the branch under me shake, I stood up, grabbing the tree so I wouldn't fall off.

Just then, a fourteen meter Titan emerges from a deeper part inside the forest.

Shit.

More Titans appear as well.

"Move out!" I shout to my squad, getting back on my horse.

We all dashed out of the forest as fast as we could, trying to avoid the Titans.

As we got further away, I noticed that none of the Titans followed us out here.

After we rode for around ten minutes, we stopped to take a quick break.

A few minutes passed and we heard Titans again. Just like that, there were more than before. At least twenty of them.

"Captain, your orders?" Jinn asked. "Take down as many as you can." I answered, drawing out my blades.

"This is for you, (f/n)."

Before I started, I shot a red smoke signal.

I saw Hanji and her squad show up to help out with our Titan situation. Then out of nowhere, that fourteen meter from earlier showed up.

Instead, it was fighting the Titans...?

"It's an abnormal!" Bozado exclaimed, shooting a black smoke signal.

"Everyone, leave that Titan alone." Hanji ordered, studying it.

Standing on a branch, I watched the Titan as well.

It seemed to have a female physique. Considering it had breasts, wide hips and not going to lie, a nice ass.

I studied the Titan's face, but it was a little hard since it was moving and fighting off the Titans.

It was a (Titan type, w/ skin or w/ no skin) Titan, and had (h/l) (h/c) hair.

Once the Titan turned around after killing another one, I looked at it's eyes.

Just as I saw those (e/c) eyes, I had a strange feeling in my stomach.

"It looks like...(f/n)?"

But I knew that's impossible. How could she be a fucking Titan?!

"Hanji, I need to talk to you." I called out. She looked up at me and nodded, shooting her wires up to the branch I was on.

"What is it shorty?" She asked. Rolling my eyes from the nickname, I told her what I thought.

"That Titan...don't you think it looks familiar?" I asked.

The first thing she did was laugh, but I gave her a serious look and she stopped.

Hanji looked at the Titan's face for a second before her eyes widened. "You know...it does look familiar..." She turned to me.

"Remember when I was telling you all about Titan shifters?" She asked.

"Sadly, yes." I sighed. "Do you think it's possible that (f/n) is inside of there, controlling it?"

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think you may be right."

We looked back at the female Titan and saw it on the ground, surrounded by the other Titans.

"She's exhausted, so we have to help!" Hanji said, jumping off the branch.

I jumped off as well and went to go help out. "You heard what she said, now help out the female Titan!" I ordered my squad.

"Yes, sir!" They replied, attacking some of the Titans around the female one.

It seemed to look like the Titans were eating her. What the hell?

After the last Titan was killed off, we all went over to the female Titan.

She was so weakened that she fell over on her stomach. Hanji and I were the ones that climbed up to her neck to see if it was a Titan shifter.

I held up my blade above the nape, hesitating before I jabbed it into her.

After cutting, Hanji opened it up a bit.

"Tch. That's disgusting." I muttered.

Hanji squealed, bouncing up and down with joy.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's a Titan shifter!" She shouted.

Everyone gasped.

Opening it up again, I looked inside and saw (h/c) hair. My eyes widened as we both started to pull her up.

It was pretty difficult to pull her out of there, but we managed. As soon as we got her out, I looked at the face.

"...(F/n)...?" I whispered.

My eyes started to water up again as I brought her close to my chest.

Hanji "awed" at the sight of me acting like this. Tch, brat.

I looked down at her legs and noticed that her uniform was a little torn up.

Sighing, I stood up and carried her back down to the ground.

I was going to have Hanji take her to a cart for the injured. But as I was walking past Ral and Schultz, I heard them whisper something.
