Adaman started at the two girls eating in front of him, noticing their eyes were looking everywhere but him like they usually did. Both were cautious and nervous around him. He wasn't stupid. He knew both of them were playing cute with him to keep him from threatening them both and scaring them silly. Alyssa dropped her spoon, her eyes widening slightly. He looked at the item on the ground, finding the child silly for thinking he'd snap over something like that. "Here." He handed her his, causing her to perk up but she reached out and took the wooden spoon. "Adaman, what is that?" He looked over, finding Mai standing there with wide eyes. "Just some strawberries and stuff, Eddie sliced them into smaller pieces"Adaman huffed annoyed that she was acting like he'd actually poison both girls. He perked up noticing Alyssa was gripping her chest. "Alyssa is allergic to strawberries!"Mai retorts. His eyes widened, Alyssa falling over.

"Aly-"Mai begins stepping towards her startled. Adaman hurried past her, his eyes wide. "OPEN YOUR EYES!"Adaman yells looking desperate. Athena stared with wide eyes, reaching for her sister but stopping when Alyssa whined tears falling down her cheeks from the pain in her chest and stomach. "Is there is antidote!?"Adaman demands looking back at her. "Ah, only Ember and Cyllenne have it-"Mai starts again stunned. "WATCH ATHENA!" He rushed past her, her eyes wide as she turned around stunned. Adamant whistled, looking around "LUXRAY!" Luxray rushed over, Adaman leaping up onto his back. The Pokemon turned and rushed away at full speed. Mai stared after him stunned having never seen him show anything other than anger before but the desperate expression on his face had been genuine. "Aunt Mai"Athena says grabbing her hand. "Come on, let's go after them"Mai says. She pulled out a flute, playing a tune causing the childs eyes to sparkle. Wyrdeer made his way over at a slow gallop, letting the two onto his back. "Let's go"Mai nods.

Cyllene and Arezu sat on either side of Asante on the ground, handing him pieces of paper to draw on. Asante laid on his stomach, focused on his drawings as the two adults watched him in serene silence. He sat up on his knees holding a drawing, a small smile on his face. "This one is for Aunt Cyllene"Asante says handing her a drawing of her Abra. "Thank you"Cyllene says a small smile on her face. "You got one for me?"Arezu smiled pointing to herself. He handed her a drawing of a rose, getting a chuckle of amusement from her. The sound of yelling made them perk up, Asante watching as Arezu and Cyllenne rose to their feet, hurrying out into the main area. Adaman ran over, an unconscious Alyssa in her arms. "Help her!" Arezu quickly took the child from him, hurrying away beside Cyllene. Mai came in with Athena, Asante staring at them from the rooms doorway. Adaman looked down then lifted his gaze which was back to being devoid of any emotion.

Mai perked up when she noticed him and made a beckon that it was okay for him to come over. Asante walked over, Athena's eyes widening. She met him halfway, a relieved look on her face. "Asante"Athena smiled happy to see him. She threw her arms around his neck, rubbing her cheeks together. "Hey sis..."Asante greets a small smile on his face. Adaman glared down at him for a split moment then his gaze returned to the closed infirmary doors. Asante looked away to the infirmary concerned. "What happened?"Asante asks Athena frowning. "Alyssa ate some strawberries." His eyes widened then narrowed, glaring at the silent man not standing too far from them wondering if he caused this. The doors opened, Pesselle walking out. "Is she alright, why's it quiet"Adaman demands Mai taking a quick glance down at his trembling fists. "She's just asleep"Pesselle responds carefully. He walked past her into the room, Cyllene throwing him a small glare when he made his way over to them.

Arezu quickly stepped back looking cautious but ready to step in if he attempted to do anything. His gaze stayed on the sleeping child, eyes narrowed slightly. His eyes snapped up, his tone harsh and icy when he spoke. "Why was I not informed about this allergy she has?"Adaman asks suddenly making the two woman flinch. "You never aske-"Cyllene begins. He whipped around silencing her instantly, cold eyes staring her down. "I shouldn't have to." Tiny hands grabbed his outfit, his head darting back to find Athena gripping his hoari. "Papa, no being mean!"Athena scolds giving him a pointed look. A huff followed hands picking her up, holding her out in front of him. The brat was getting bold and as much as he wanted to silence her again he found it amusing. His eyes narrowed at how quick he had moved to grab Alyssa when he fell. He hadn't done that since the wrench died. "Go"Adaman orders setting her down and waving her away. He refused to love again. He didn't want the brats to die as well.

He turned back to Alyssa, walking the girl sleep. "Adaman"Mai says walking over, stopping not too far from him. Silence came from him, his eyes trained intently on the sleeping girl.  "....tell Ember..he can have the brats back, I've lost interest again"Adaman orders keeping his eyes on the sleeping child in front of him. "..papa..."Athena mutters her eyes wide. Asante frowned, letting out a quiet huff. Alyssa opened her eyes, looking up at him as he raised his hand. "You should stay asleep.."Adaman frowned lifting his hand. She reached out, her smaller hand wrapping around two of his fingers. "Dad..."Alyssa mutters staring at him. He quickly removed his hand, his eyes wide for a moment at the little jump his heart did. Orange hair nearly collided into him but he stepped out of the way last minute, Ember hunched over Alyssa with wide eyes. "You can have them back.."Adaman informs glancing at him. Ember snorted, throwing him an unsurprised glare. "Gladly"Ember growled bristling.

"No fighting here"Cyllene interrupts stepping between the two. "What's all the commotion?" Kamado walked in Julie walking in beside him with Melli on his other side. "I heard from Melli but why is there a ruckus when the child is trying to sleep..."Kamado says a warning in his tone. "I was just about to leave"Adaman remarked coldly. Alyssa reached for him, her eyes wide as he walked away. Adamant passed by Asante and Athena, ignoring them when the girl reached to grab his hoari but stopped herself. He whistled, Luxray bounding to a stop by the entrance. "Let's go buddy"Adaman mumbles doing his best to not glance back. He hopped onto it's back, Luxray running off. Asante watched him go from beside Mai then felt a hand on his head. She kneeled down, looking at him. "I know this might be too much for you kids, your sisters are gonna need you, can you watch them..."Mai sighs taking his hands. He nodded, Julie walking over. "Hey, Melli told me what happened with Lorenzo"Julie greets a sad smile on her face.

"Want to hear some stories about your mother?" He perked up at her offer. "I think that's a good idea, it'd be good for you kids..."Cyllene prompts a note of uncertainty in her tone for a moment. "I'll tell you all once your sister feels better, you three can stay with me"Julie chuckles smiling at his sparkle eyed look. She gestured him back to the infirmary, Melli fussing over Alyssa stopping only when Ember decided to pinch his side and twist it causing the fussing man to yell out in surprise. "She's sleepy"Ember snarled glaring at hum. "That hurt, you brute!"Melli snapped slapping his hand away. "And I'm allowed to fuss over her!" "They have me for that." "How rude!! I can do it too!" "No." Alyssa stayed silent, laying on her side. She closed her eyes and turned over, her back facing the bickering adults. "Alright, you two, that's enough!"Arezu chuckled patting their shoulders. "The girls are safe now, that's all that matters, I'll contact Palina and Irida"Arezu says walking away. Ember glanced at Alyssa, a concerned frown on his face.

Adaman laid asleep in a small patch of flowers, the grass tickling his ears as a breeze blew by. A shadow loomed over up, brushing aside some of his hair only for it to fall back into place. His eyes opened, widening slightly. Alya stared down at him, her hand hovering for a moment. "Alya, when-"Adaman starts quickly sitting up. His hand went through hers, causing him to freeze. He sighed and laid back down on his back, covering his eyes with an arm. "You stupid wench...you died so stay away from me, stay dead and get out of my head"Adaman grumbled turning over, his back facing her. She stared down at him then stood up and walked away, fading away with an incoming breeze. "Adaman." Eddie stood there, looking down at him. "What.."Adaman demands flatly. Eddie glanced away. "Eddie, what is it"Adaman grumbled. "I can't stand by and-"Eddie sighed. Adaman turned away, covering his eyes with his arm again. "Goodbye then, I don't need you.."Adaman mutters. Eddie stared at him then turned and walked away. "..Traitor.."Adaman mumbles his first trembling.
