Akko

Today will determine if I have improved my magic. I have studied harder than I have studied before, I have had more spell casting practice, than I have ever had in my whole time at Luna Nova.
I am ready. All I need to do is ace the written exam and then blow the professor away with my awesome transformation skills.
Honestly, I don't think I can do it...I'm not very good at any of this. I'll be lucky to get at least 50%.

A hand rests on my shoulder.
"You'll do fine, I know you will." Diana tells me, I smile happily. For some reason all my fear has gone now from just hearing Diana say that.
I pick up my wand and put it in my wand holder. " let's hope so." I mumble.
" Akko, let's get to class early so we can practice our transformation. "
Diana suggests.
" yeah sure, it'll help me a lot."
" Sucy, Lotte have nice lessons unlike me uugghh." I moan walking out of the door with Diana. "See ya Akko and Diana." Lotte shouts to me.

" I really don't want to go to class today Diana let me stay here and tell the professor I'm sick." I sulk ,scraping my feet across the floors.
" That's not the attitude towards learning you should have Akko, and all that studying and your precious time would have been wasted. " Diana informs me. I can't win an argument with her can I?
" I'm just so nervous I'll fail again like I've done in every exam at this school, all except one which was my fish translation exam I passed that with flying colors." I say proudly.
" alright Akko let's make a deal. You go to this exam and get over 75% and.... I'll do anything you want but of you get below 75% you have to do anything I want." Diana says. 

That's a nice deal but I know I won't get over 75% so it's like Diana's won already.
" fine I accept it I know you've already won so why not make a deal." I sigh.
We arrive at the classroom and of course it's empty. Classes don't start for another 35 minutes so Diana and I have plenty of time.
" metamorphie Fasiesse! " Diana chants which takes me by surprise.
She turns into a majestic white horse. Now that's why she gets top marks all the time.
" whoa amazing Diana, I want to turn into a horse as well." I say.
Diana turns back to normal.
" I'm not going to lie Akko it's hard work, I'm just about able to do it because of a lot of practice. " she tells me.

" Metamorphie Fasiesse! " I chant.
Dammit I turned into a mouse.
Diana turns me back.
" Akko, remember everything I said. You have to focus."
Diana says resting on a table.
I come and sit next to her.
" I quit, well for now at least." I groan.
" I need to relax, I feel warn out, I knew I should've slept a little longer. " I yawn.
" hmph, rest your head on my lap and sleep until the class starts, I'll wake you up when it does." Diana tells me.
I happily take her offer and rest my head on her lap. So soft and comfortable.

Diana

Within minutes Akko's sleeping like a baby lamb, with her head resting  on my lap. I look up to the clock and see that there's 20 minutes until classes start. I run my to fingers through her hair and smile. She's so cute when she sleeps and her little snores are adorable.  *click* I look up and see the door open, in walks Hanna and Barbra. " Good morning." I say to them still running my fingers through Akko's hair.
They both raise and eyebrow.
" um..Diana what are you doing?" Hanna asks me and points to Akko sleeping on my lap. I can't help but blush a little. " oh, I'm letting Akko sleep more before the exam because I want her to do well." I tell Hanna.
" you're running your fingers through her hair? " Barbra says.
" I know, it makes someone feel safe while they're asleep. " I tell them both.

" I hope Akko hasn't effected your studies that much Diana, you're literally her guardian at the moment." Barbra tells me.
" what type of witch would I be if I couldn't multitask Barbra, I can assure you Akko hasn't affected my studies at all.... Well most of the time anyway." I mumble the last part and think about last night. That was our first kiss...that we both enjoyed. I still can't believe we kissed yesterday...we're not going to fast are we? I know I love Akko but I don't want to rush things.

" okay then. So are you going to move back into are dorm? It has been over two weeks since you left." Hanna sulks.
" I miss rooming with you girls too, I won't lie and say that rooming with Akko and her friends is easy, it's noisy sometimes but it's fine. I might not come back, it all depends on whether Akko does well on this test and her work." I say.
" I hope you come back though, I've missed your encouraging words of a night time." Hanna tells me.
I notice that there's three minutes until class and students are now flooding in.
" Psst Akko wake up, time to pass your test." I whisper softly and poke her cheek. She doesn't budge.
" Akko get up."  I shake her.

" ugh I'm up, I'm up Diana. " Akko lifts her head off of my lap and yawns.
" oh hi Hanna, Barbra. " Akko says as she turns and sees them both.
They both say hi back.
" what?! The class has started already." Akko shouts shocked. 
" wish me luck Diana!" Akko says and rushes over to her seat on the other side of the room. I wish she was closer.
The professor walks in and immediately tells us what to do.
" good morning girls, this will be a double lesson due to how much we have to do, you'll each have an hour and ten minutes for the witch history essay and the rest to show me your transformations. " she booms.

Akko

Fuck... I'm nervous.
Sheets of paper appear in front of us, there are 3 questions that we need to answer in detail.

1) who were the great nine witches?
*explain each one in full detail and what they did*
2) explain the performance of magic
*how it is casted*
3) why was magic created?
* the origins*

Wow.... Can I do this. I might as well get on with it, I don't want to run out of time.  I actually think I know some of the answers.

*After written essay*

" okay times up! " the professor shouts. I almost jump out of me seat I look and see Diana giggling, I guess she saw me. I think I did fairly well.. What am I kidding I only remembered six of the nine witches. It didn't help that the professor kept on peering over me,  putting me on edge.
" if you'd all like to stand up, I'll call you up to the front one by one." My heat starts beating faster... At least my names far down the register.

Girls go up one by one, everyone watching them with beady eyes. And all of them do well, I can't help but sweat a little.
" Diana Cavendish."
I look over to Diana and she walks towards the front. That plain expression plastered on her face, I know she's going to do great.
" Metamorphie Fasiesse!" She chants and I see her turn into the majestic white horse. The whole class erupts in claps and wows.
" as expected from you Diana, good work as usual. " the professor praises her.  " thank you." Diana says quietly.
More students go up and that means my name is getting closer...

" Atsuko Kagari."
I take a deep breath and walk to the front, I pass Diana and I hear her whisper ' good luck'. I can feel everyone's eyes on me which makes me scared. You can do this Akko.
I take my stance and raise my wand.
" Metamorphie Fasiesse! " I chant. I made sure my posture was right and my pronunciation was perfect.
" whoa...." Is all I heard.
All eyes are on me and faces look shocked. Did I become a mouse again?
I look at myself. A paw? Orange and black stripes.
IM A TIGER.
" I did it whoop! "
I dance around still as a tiger which is proven a lot more difficult that you'd think it would be.
" very surprising Akko well done."
I return to normal and take my seat. Diana smiles at me and puts her thumbs up.

*next day*

Diana

It's the day after the big exam and Akko's clinging to me like mad, jumping up and down. She's excited about what she got even though we haven't see what we've gotten yet.
Our professor told us she was putting our scores on the notice board outside our class. That's where Akko and I are heading right now, we've decided to go a little later so there's now crowd around it.

We arrive and I see my name at the top.
Diana Cavendish: 100%
Writing: 50%
Transformation: 50%
I smile. I got a full mark which is very good.
I scroll for Akko's.
Atsuko Kagari: 74%
Writing: 24%
Transformation : 50%
I look over to Akko smiling because she got a very good mark.
But she's frowning and looks really unimpressed. " what's wrong you did really well." I say confused.
" I have to do anything you want... I got below 75%" she says sulking.
Oh yeah...she does have to do anything I want. I think she deserves this though and its only one mark different.
"You did very well so, I'll do anything you want."
Akko smirks at me.
" will you kiss me again?" She asks bluntly.
" y-you i-i-i u-m s-sure." I stutter getting all flustered. I look around and see no one is in sight. I lean in a kiss Akko lustfully. It's only a quick kiss but its still perfect. I smile at her.
" that was even Better than yesterday." Akko says.
We both just stand there awkwardly for a while until an idea pops into my head.
" Akko... Do you want to go on a date with me? "
