- Few Days Later, At Morning -

At Living Room

The Mukami brothers gather around in early morning.

Ruki: Any sign of the awakening?

Kou: Nope, nothing yet.

Azusa: Me too... Nothing...

Yuma: Me either.

Kou: *Think* We drink both sisters blood all the time. Is it still not enough?

Ruki: I see.

He look at outside blankly through window.

Ruki: He granted us an opportunity.

Kou, Yuma & Azusa: ...

Ruki: At this rate, we won't live up to his expectations.

He grip his book tightly.

At Hall

Y/n walk downstairs after fresh up.

She then walk toward kitchen direction and saw Ruki standing while looking at her in serious gaze.

Y/n: Oh, Ruki. Good morning-- *smile*

He out of nowhere grab her shoulder roughly and pull her to him, cause her gasp in surprised.

He lean in to bite her neck but stop.

He slowly back away but still holding her tightly.

Ruki: ...

Y/n: ?.. 'He looked... stressed up... Was it about the awakening?'

She gently cup his face.

He flinch and look at her eyes.

Y/n: Ruki...

Ruki: ... *Sad gaze* Lilith... Can we... be Adam?..

Y/n: 'I was right...'

Instead answer, she decided to pull him into a hug and caress his hair.

He silently hug her back, seeking a comfort from her.

- At Evening -

At Dining Room

The Komori sisters, Kou and Yuma eating together.

But as always, Kou and Yuma bickering over foods every time they were in dining room.

Kou: Yuma-kun, that's mine! *whine*

Yuma: Huh?! You still don't know how to count?! It's three per person! That's your fourth one! *scowl in annoyed*

Kou: *Play dumb* What? Really?

Yui: Um... There are more...

Azusa enter the room with gloomy face and sit down in front of Yui and beside Yuma.

Kou: Hey, where's Ruki-kun?

Yuma: Weren't you going to get him?

Ruki: I did... but he said he didn't want any...

Kou: Ruki-kun has been in a bad mood lately, don't you think?

Yuma: Yeah, he has...

Azusa: Did something... happen?..

Y/n: About that...

The brothers look at her.

Y/n: He's started to feel pressured because he didn't feel any sign of the awakening.

Yuma: So that's why...

At Sakamaki Mansion

The Sakamaki brothers completely restless.

Ayato keep back forward walking in living room.

Subaru have been ripping roses in frustration.

Kanato throwing things out of anger, and sometimes cry out of nowhere.

Laito too silent.

Reiji sitting on couch, losing composure.

And Shu rarely sleeping than usual, staring at ceiling blankly while laying down on other couch.

Ayato: Damn it... It's been a week! Where did Cupcake and Pancake go?!

Kanato: Y/n-san... *sniff, holding Teddy tightly*

Reiji: This won't do... *stand up* I will send familiars to search them.

Subaru: Hah?! Let's just look for them ourselves!

Laito: He's right, Reiji.

Reiji: It will take forever. We don't even know if they're still in this country--

Ayato: Like hell I care!!! I will go look for them now!!! *teleport away*

The rest brothers teleport away except Shu and Reiji.

Reiji: *Sigh* They never listen to me.

Shu: ... *sit up, look at outside blankly through window* 'Y/n...'

Reiji: *Close eyes* 'Stay calm. Compose yourself. Think. Where they could possibly be...'

He suddenly remember the car incident.

Reiji: 'Could it be... Those people..!'
