- The Next Night -

At Balcony

Y/n was looking outside silently as she thinking about the triplets past.

Y/n: *Sigh, close her eyes* ... 'I knew Cordelia terrible. But I didn't expect she's worst than I expected. I never felt so disgusted in my whole life.' *glare on the ground*

She lean herself on the railing.

Y/n: 'Poor them... To think they would experience such a thing. Not all parent truly deserve a child...'

She gaze blankly, thinking.

Y/n: 'But why am I able to see their past in detail? Come to think of it, the past I just witnessed never shown on this anime when I watched it...'

She then look around.

Y/n: 'Was this mansion was actually alive? It let me see the unknown past.'

A piano sounds snap her out from her thoughts.

Y/n: ? *look at music room* That must be Laito...

At Music Room

Y/n enter the room.

As expected, she saw Laito playing piano gracefully with his eyes closed.

Y/n: It's sounds wonderful, Laito... *smile, walk to him*

Laito: Hm? Oh, Sexy-chan~ Why, thank you for the compliment~

Then Yui enter the room next.

Laito: Why, hello, Bitch-chan~ I'm thrilled that we ran into each other here.

Yui: ... Laito-kun... Who is the woman in the purple dress?

Hearing the question, Laito suddenly stop playing the piano.

Yui: She's a pretty lady... With long hair.

Laito: ... *looking at the piano with serious gaze*

Kanato: Why do you want to know that?

Kanato and Ayato appear out of nowhere, standing near Laito.

Ayato: What are you doing in here?

Yui: Ayato-kun... Kanato-kun...

She went silent for moment before continue.

Yui: Tell me... What is your mother's name?

The aura in the room suddenly cold and dark.

Kanato: ... *bury half of his face on Teddy, sad gaze*

Laito: ... *still looking at the piano, cold gaze*

Ayato: ... *looking at her with a silent glare*

He then blurt out the name in full of hatred and despised.

Ayato: Cordelia.

{Flashback}

One night, a full red moon shining the mansion with it's light.

It's the night of the triplets mother, Cordelia got killed.

A loud of scream echoing the mansion.

Cordelia barely standing properly at stairs as she bleeding badly.

Cordelia: *Pant, holding her bleeding stomach* A-A... ya... to... *breath heavily*

There's Ayato standing in front of her

His white shirt covered by her blood.

Ayato: *Look at his shirt* What a shame, it's ruined now... And I really liked this shirt too... It's soaked in your blood, Mother...

He went lick her blood on his palm.

Ayato: Your blood tastes so sweet... *keep licking the bloods* It's so delicious...

He look at her in predator gaze.

Ayato: I want more...

Cordelia gasp in terrified and run away.

Ayato laugh evilly as he watched her mother running away in terrified.

His laugh get louder, echoing the whole mansion.

Cordelia running in struggle while holding her bleeding stomach.

As she run, she keep lean her body on the wall for support.

Her blood are everywhere.

Painting the whole carpets, floors and walls.

She then reach to music room, looking for Laito.

And he is there, playing a piano.

Cordelia: L-Laito... N-Ngh.. *pant, breathing heavily*

She went to him desperately.

Cordelia: L-Laito... *in pain*

Laito: Oh, no. What's the matter? *pretend to care*

Cordelia: I-It's Ayato... H-He's torturing-- N-Ngh... m-me!..

Laito: Wow, really? Well, I knew this would happen sooner or later. *playful tone*

Cordelia: *Raise out her hand* L-Laito, I command you to help me!..

Laito stop playing the piano.

His face is unreadable.

*Thud!*

Cordelia gasp in terrified, thinking Ayato were banging the door at outside the room.

*Thud!*

*Thud!*

Cordelia: A-Ayato has come for me.. *gasp in pain, tremble* H-He has come to kill me..!

It's windy outside the mansion, the tree almost got blow away.

There's tree branches hitting the window, which is why there's a noise of thud.

Laito: *Looking at window* That isn't Ayato. That's just the wind.

Cordelia: *Breathing heavily, looking at outside*

Laito: Relax. I'll keep you safe.

They're now inside Cordelia's room.

Cordelia now leaning herself against the balcony pillar.

Laito were from outside the room.

Laito: *Enter, went to her*

Cordelia: *Look at him, smile* Have you driven Ayato away for me?

Laito: Yup, he's gone.

Cordelia: I knew I could depend on you, Laito.

Laito: Do you love me more than anyone else?

Cordelia: Yes~ *lean her back on railing*

She raise her hand out at him, expected him to hold it in medieval way.

Laito: You never change, do you?

He went closer to her and take her hand.

Cordelia: *Smiling* Laito, I love you... I mean that.

Laito: *Gaze soften, looking at her*

His gaze suddenly went serious and push her away, cause she fell from the balcony.

She screamed and land on the bushes of thorny roses.

Laito looking down at her with unreadable expression.

Laito: Now you are mine, for eternity. *left from there*

Then there's Kanato walking toward Cordelia while carrying old metal candle light holder.

Kanato: Mother, what's wrong?

Rains start pouring down.

Kanato: There's a hole in your chest, mother. Wake up, mother... *touch her forehead, then look around* I wonder where your heart went?

He look back at her.

Kanato: Help me look for it. Come on... *went closer* Are you dead, mother? You're so cold... And so wet... Mother, you must be freezing.

He take his hand away from her forehead and back away.

Kanato: Hold on, I'll warm you up. *grab the candle holder*

He set her on fire, along with bushes.

Kanato: *Laugh slightly* Now, doesn't that feel warm, mother? Come on, tell me you're getting warmer. *start laugh like a maniac*

He then laugh even louder, psychopathically.

{End of Flashback}

After hearing the story, Yui shaking badly in terrified and run out from the room.

Ayato: ...

Kanato: ...

Laito: ...

Y/n: ... *sigh, sit down besides Laito*

Kanato: ... Do you hate us now, Y/n-san?

Y/n: I don't.

Ayato: ... But we--

Y/n: I know. You guys have your own reason.

She then open her arms.

Y/n: Come here.

Kanato hug her without hesitation.

Ayato then follow, even though he feels embarrassed.

Y/n: *Look at Laito* You too, Fedora hat.

Laito: *Blinking, chuckle*

He join the hug.

Y/n hug them back, holding them closely.

Y/n: ... *caress their hair* I love you guys...

They got surprised and look at her immediately.

Ayato: Are you really?..

Y/n: I'm serious. *pat his head*

Ayato: *Flush, look away grumble*

Kanato: Why?

Y/n: "Why", huh? *look at outside through window*

She then smile.

Y/n: I don't think talking about it is enough.

Laito: ?

Y/n grab their hand and kiss their knuckle.

Y/n: *Look at them, smiling*

Their heart got flutter.

She pull away the hug.

Y/n: I will go after Yui and comfort her now.

Kanato: *Pout*

Ayato: *Mumble* The hug was too short.

Laito: Not enough~ *whine, pout as well*

Y/n: *Chuckle* I will give you guys a lot of hugs and kisses later.

Laito: Promise?~ *fake smile, unsettle gaze*

Ayato: You better keep your words. *serious gaze*

Kanato: I will punish you if you lie. *crazed smile*

Y/n: *Sweat dropped* P-Promise...

At Garden

Yui were running away to garden and trip over herself, fell to the ground.

Yui: *Shaking, hug herself* I hate this place... I can't stand it anymore!..

Subaru: You should have run when you had the chance. *standing in front of her*

Yui: S-Subaru-kun... You know about it, don't you, Subaru-kun?.. About what the three of them did to their own mother?..

Subaru: And if I do? *start walk away*

Yui stand up and run after him.

Yui: Wait!.. *about to reach him*

Subaru: *Swing his arm away* Stay away from me! Come one step closer, and I'll destroy you! I will not only break your body, but your mind as well!

He rip white roses off bushes and harshly throw the roses and it petals at her.

The white rose suddenly remind Yui of Subaru's mother.

Yui: ... Was the woman in the tower... Your mother, Subaru-kun?..

Subaru's eyes widen in shocked.

Subaru: What do you know?! *grab her wrist harshly*

Yui: *Wince* S-Subaru-kun, y-you're hurting me..! Let go!..

Subaru: ... What do you want from me?.. What do you expect from someone as powerless, hideous and polluted as I am?..

Yui: E-Eh?..

Y/n: *Walking to them* Subaru, let her go.

Subaru snap out from his thoughts and let Yui go.

Yui: *Rubbing her wrist*

Y/n: I'm sorry, Yui... But could you leave us alone, Yui? You can wait for me in my room.

Yui: *Nod, left*

Y/n: *Look at him* ... I heard what you just said.

Subaru look away, clench his fist.

Y/n: Why did you talking so low about yourself?.. You're more than that.

Subaru: Don't talk you know about me! What could you possibly know?!

Y/n: Subaru--

Subaru: My own mother hate me! Even call me filthy because of that bastard! *snapped*

Y/n: *Surprised* ?!

Subaru: *Look down, tremble* My mother and Karlheinz were cousin. He trick my mother to think he loves her when...

He grip his fist tightly.

Subaru: He was actually using her for experiment... He did the same things to his other wives. To create a new race. But since his experiment failed, he neglected his wives, including my mother.

Y/n: 'What the hell?.. I didn't know that...'

Subaru: Because of that, my mother went crazy... She even mistakes me for Karlheinz most of times in her delusional state. Sometimes she would throwing heavy stuff at me or calling me "Big brother".

Y/n: Subaru...

Subaru: One night, she asked me to end her misery. And I did, with the same knife I gave you.

Y/n: ... 'I see... So that's what happened...'

Subaru: *Trembling, try not to break down*

Y/n: *Cup his face*

Subaru: *Surprised, look at her in confusion*

Y/n: Do you know what I see on you?..

He looks away.

Y/n: ... *hold his head, make him face her* I see a beauty as white rose... Ethereal as moon... Enchanting as gem... I adore you... And I love you...

Subaru: *Stunned, flush* Y-You're joking...

Y/n: I'm serious.

Subaru: ... Prove it.

Y/n: *Kiss him passionately*

He tense for moment before kiss her back in equal pace.

He step forward, cause her to step back until her legs reach a bench.

Both of them pull away in sync, catching their breath.

Subaru pin Y/n down on the bench and lean down on her neck.

Subaru: *Sink his fangs, suck her blood*

Y/n: *Wince, hold his head*

His eyes widen as he tasting her blood.

Subaru: ... *pull away slightly, surprised* It tastes so sweet... How come?.. *continue suck her blood*

Y/n: *Close her eyes, caress his hair*

A moment later, he pull away a bit and look at her.

Subaru: ... Last night, you asked me why I gave you the silver knife...

He went whisper at his ear.

Subaru: I gave it to you so you could stab me with it, should I want you to.

Y/n: *Froze* !.. *look at him* I can't do that--

Subaru: If you are incapable of that, use it to end yourself. *hold her face and shoulder*

Y/n: ... I... choose the third choice.

Subaru: ?.. *confused*

Y/n: *Look at him, smile* I will use the knife to kill for you and your brothers. And to protect Yui.

Subaru: !.. *heart flutter* You...

He went silent for moment.

Subaru: Then... You have no right to refuse me. In the same way, you can't deny me your blood. *pull her closer by her nape* Allow my fangs to enter you... Always... *whisper*

Y/n: *Tilt her head aside, close her eyes*

He pull down her shirt, expose her shoulder.

Subaru: *Sink his fangs on her shoulder, suck her blood*

Y/n: *Wrap her arms around his body and caress his hair* Drink as much you want.

He hum as he feels her caress.
