Y/n and Yui walking together at hall when they heard someone singing a song at balcony.

As they went to the second floor balcony, they saw Kanato sitting on railing, holding Teddy while singing.

Kanato: "Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme... Remember me, to one who lives...--"

His singing got interrupted the moment he heard a door open.

Yui: That was you, Kanato-kun?

Kanato: Oh, Yui-san... *look at Y/n, smile softly* Y/n-san...

He look at the sky.

Kanato: Isn't it a nice night?

Y/n: *Look at the sky* It is...

Yui: Why are you sitting there? That's dangerous... *worried*

Kanato: I'll be fine.

Y/n: 'I shouldn't be really worry about it since he's a vampire, so he will be fine. Yet... I couldn't help but worry for him.'

Yui: C-Come on, it's really dangerous...

Kanato: *Look at her, laugh* You wear an expression of anxiety mingle with fear. It's very cute.

He looks down on the ground.

Kanato: I actually hate it when you make that face. It makes me worry why you're so afraid of me.

Kanato: *Laughing*

Yui: *Confused* W-What is it?

Kanato: You took me seriously. You really are hopeless stupid.

Y/n: *Chuckle at his attic, shake head* Seriously, though. Please get down, Kanato. Like Yui said, it's dangerous.

Kanato: Alright, I'll get down now.

Yui: Really? *relief smile*

Kanato: Yes. *stand up on the railing*

Yui: *Worried* K-Kanato?

Kanato: Well, so long.

He open his arms and let himself fall down.

Everything around them suddenly in slow motion.

Yui: *Eyes widen* !..

Y/n: *Froze*

Her body suddenly move itself and get on the railing quickly.

She grab Kanato before he could fully fall.

Kanato: ?! *surprised*

Y/n: Ngh! *pull him with full strength*

Kanato fell to the balcony floor.

Y/n: *Lost balance, fall down instead* ?..

Yui: Big sister!!! *try grab her but out of reach*

Yui: *Shaking, her hand tremble* N-No...

Kanato: . . . *froze as he heard the thud*

He start shaking violently and tears streaming down to his cheek.

Kanato: YYYY/NNNNNNNNN- SAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!! *shout her name in heartbroken and despair*

Kanato: Y/n-san! *immediately run to her and hug her tightly*

Yui: Big sister!.. *run to her and hug her tightly* Thank God you're okay!.. *sniff*

Y/n: *Smiling, pat her head*

Shu: *Stand up, brush off his pants from dust*

He was about to leave.

Y/n: Shu, hold a moment. *pull away from Kanato and Yui*

Shu: ?

Y/n: *Peck his lips*

Shu: *Went blank*

Yui: *Gasp, cover her mouth and squeal*

At Garden

The sisters walking together at garden.

They then went to the bench and sit down.

Yui: *Sigh, smile* It's been 17 years... We've been together like real sisters...

Y/n: *Silently look at her*

Yui: I heard from father how you've been taking care of me when I was a baby. You treat me like your own little sister. *smile*

She look at the sky.

Yui: We eat together, play together, sleep together and do everything together. You even know all my favorite and protect me from bully. So father decided to adopt you as my big sister. *smiling*

Y/n: *Smile, listening* 'Good to know I'm like that in this anime.'

Yui: Though... *hug her knees* I can't believe father do this to us... *sad gaze, hurt*

Y/n: ... *hug her, caress her hair silently*

Yui: *Lean on her*

Y/n: ... 'I want to ask her about my past in this anime, but... I guess this is not the perfect time.'

At Hall

Y/n and Yui are now walking together to their room.

On their way, they saw Subaru leaning his back against window.

Yui: Subaru?

Subaru: *Look at them, standing properly* You two will definitely die if stay here.

Yui: B-But... What choice do we have?..

Subaru: ... Go now.

Yui: *Look at him in confusion* Eh?..

They look at the moon together.

The moon got covered almost all of it.

Yui: Big sister, let's go. It's our chance!

Y/n: Go. I need to talk with Subaru for moment.

Yui: *Nod, went to her room*

Y/n: ... *watch her leaving before look back at Subaru*

Subaru: What is it?

Y/n: ... I'm not leaving.

Subaru: *Surprised* ... What?

Y/n: I'm staying.

Subaru: What about your little sister?

Y/n: Knowing her, she will change her mind as she wants to know the truth about her and her father here.

They went silent for moment.

Subaru close his eyes, then look at her.

Y/n: ...

Subaru: ...

He take out his silver knife and give it to her.

Y/n: *Eyes widen* 'This knife is--'

Subaru: That silver knife can be used to kill vampires like us with a stab to the heart.

Y/n: ... Why are you giving me this?

Subaru: ... *walk away*

Y/n: *Watching him leaving, look at the knife* 'This was supposed to be given to Yui...'

She look at the moon.

Y/n: ... 'Well... It's not like Yui would kill anyway. Since I have this knife now, I will able to protect myself and Yui. The brothers too.'

At Yui's Bedroom

Yui: ... *silently sitting on bed, looking at the picture she found before*

Y/n: *Enter, went to her* ... You're not packing.

Yui: *Look at her in silent for moment* I... Change my mind. I want to learn the truth.

Y/n: I see. *already expected it* If you're staying, then I'm staying too. *smile*

Yui: *Smile back*

Y/n: *Sit down on her bed* Mind if I sleep with you tonight?

Yui: Not at all. *smile* You can even sleep here forever.

Y/n: *Laugh* Whatever you say. *lay down on the bed* Let's get some rest.

Yui: *Nod* Goodnight, Big sister. *lay down besides her*

Y/n: Goodnight, Yui.
