Mingling Breaths

Abhijishya was humming and moving around with a skip in her steps when Nakul entered their chamber.

"Arya," she said walking towards him with a ecstatic smile.

Nakul took her hand and said,"My Mohini seems to be in a very good mood. Did anything happen?"

Abhijishya grinned. "Oh I am very happy, Arya. Bhabishree Rukmini and Bhabishree Revati are pregnant. I am going to be an aunt to a little Krishna and little Baldau."

"Really? That is a very good news indeed. I must congratulate Bhratshree Krishna and Bhratashree Balram soon," Nakul said with happiness.

"Parihar (Privacy)" Abhijishya said. As soon as the dasis left, she pulled him into a kiss.

"Oh, I missed this so much," Nakul mumbled as he pulled her closer into his arms.

"Did you now?" She said playfully. Her smile was engulfed into another passionate kiss. Nakul rested his forehead against hers and said," Let's go."

Abhijishya looked at him in confusion,"Go? Where?"

Nakul just smiled and pulled her along. "Come with me."

================================

Two saddled horses stood in the courtyard.

"I see how this is, Arya. You are trying to elope with me," Abhijishya teased.

"But we are already married, love," Nakul said. "Maybe I am taking you away to a secret den to keep you prisoner," he teased back.

Abhijishya laughed. "I'd like to see you try,"she said. "Perhaps if you please me, I might stay in your secret den willingly."

Nakul grinned. "You might not want to come back once you see my secret den."

"Is that so? Then I must see this den at once," she said with a smile. Then Abhijishya frowned,"Arya, I am not exactly a skilled horse rider." 'More like I only rode horses when I went to Puri and Digha beaches,' she thought.

"But you said you were riding away fast being chased by guards in your illusion," Nakul said puzzled.

Abhijishya resisted her urge to facepalm at being caught at her lie. Instead she said," In my mind, dear. If you fly in your dream that doesn't mean you can fly in reality."

Nakul accepted her explaination then smirked.

"What?" she asked.

"We'll be taking one horse then," he said. Then he got down on one knee.

"Go on,"Nakul smiled. Abhijishya blushed as she stepped on his thigh and got up on the horse and sat sideways. He got up next; his chest flush against her back.

"Ready?" he whispered. She shuddered pleasantly feeling his breath tickle her neck. "Yes," she said.

They rode in a canter as they passed houses aligned in rows along the road; marketplaces where people were slowly closing their businesses. People moved aside to give them away. Curious children pointed at them. Some people even joined their hands. There was utterance of 'Rajkumari' from a few young girls. Abhijishya smiled and waved at them. Their eyes widened and they waved back with bright grins.

"Dwarka already adores their new Rajkumari," Nakul said affectionately.

"Their new relative; Dwarka is no monarchy," she said.

"Sometimes I wonder if Aryavart would be as prosperous and beautiful as Dwarka if we didn't have monarchy too," he said thoughtfully.

"Be it monarcy or a governing council, as long as the administration is not corrupt, there shall be prosperity," Abhijishya said with a smile.

He smiled back. "And do you see a prosperous Aryavart?"

"I see us laying the foundation for something great, dear. It shall depend on the future generations if they can retain that," she replied.

================================

The sun painted the western sky in shades of orange, gold and red as it descended steadily. They reached the outskirts of a forest.

Nakul halted the horse and got down. He offered a hand to Abhijishya. She took his hand and was about to get down but Nakul kept her lifted in his arms. He spun her around.

Abhijishya laughed in delight gripping his shoulders. "What has gotten into you today?" she asked.

"Nothing more than usual. Just indulging my wishes a bit more," he replied putting her down. She kissed him; uncaring of any eyes that might see them in the open.

"Come on," Nakul urged her. They walked into the woods. He stopped to tie their horse to a tree. She watched with fondness as he pet the horse affectionately.

He turned towards her and said," We can go now. My friend here would take some rest while waiting for us." Nakul took her hand and they walked inside the forest.

Faint rays of the setting sun filtering through the gaps of the green canopy above lighted a stone pathway. Abhijishya was mesmerised by the various colourful fragnant flowers which grew by the side of their path in an unkempt manner.

"When did you find this place?"she asked softly; not wanting to interrupt the calls of birds.

"Yuyudhana brought me here in search of a herb. This part of Dwarka has been left alone to not interfere with the wildlife. But this is not what I want to show you," Nakul said. She was about to ask him what when he quickly added," It is a surprise. Now follow me."

Abhijishya could hear the gurgling of a water body nearby and saw a small waterfall forming a tiny stream that went deeper into the woods.

"Come along, we are nearly there," Nakul said. They followed the river for some time. Abhijishya couldn't hold the gasp of wonder at the sight before her.

It was a lake crowded with indivara, ambhoja, kahlara, kumuda and utpala lotuses. The air resounded with the calls of cranes that walked through the water catching small fishes.

Nakul was about to pluck some lotuses when Abhijishya stopped him.

"Let this remain untouched, Arya. Let this place flourish without us," she said. Nakul's eyes softened as he kissed her forehead.

They walked along the side of the lake with the gradually darkening sky. Soon the chirps of crickets could be heard as the singing birds returned to their nests.

In the absence of the sun, the moonlight illuminated the surface of the lake giving a silvery glow to everything it touched. The moss was a thick green carpet beneath their feet as they stood there watching a pair of swans in their own courtship dance.

"It's almost time," he whispered. Abhijishya looked at her lover, her husband's handsome face that held anticipation of a child showing their friends their new discovered wonders.

She noticed a few faint glowing dots floating around in front of them over the lake.

"Nakul," she whispered in amazement as swarms of fireflies flew in to join their glowing friends.

"Is this not beautiful?" He asked with a serene smile on his face. She watched him standing beside her looking peaceful drenched in moonlight and no other answer came to her mind as she replied," Yes."

A few fireflies came and sat in their hair and clothes as if trying to make them join the mystical trance they floated in.

He smiled," I knew you would like this. You, my Abhijishya who is indifferent to wealth, have always liked the simpler things. Like Bhabishree Rukmini's rasmalai, reading and listening to scriptures, sparring. I knew this time no jewellery could do you justice but I wanted to do something special for you-"

"You look so beautiful," she said hyptonized by the silver misty traces on his skin. Nakul's breath hitched.

"Wha-" he didn't get to complete his question. "How can you look so beautiful?" She asked as she kissed him.

He was being swallowed whole by the widened pupils of his wife. Nakul made no more effort in taming the carnal beast that raged beneath his skin.

He kissed her like a thirsty man trying to drink all of her at once. Abhijishya moaned feeling his hands touching everywhere. Wherever he touched, her skin burned craving even more. Today all self-restraints had come off.

They fell on the ground in a muted thud as Abhijishya landed over Nakul. She kissed his jaw, the stretch of his neck slightly sucking onto his skin.

She gasped as Nakul flipped them over and proceeded to ravish her. With the fire of desire curling in their spine, they melted in the other's hand trying to amalgamate themselves into one.

Gaining some semblance of propriety, Nakul whispered out," Can't. Not here." Abhijishya whined; her common sense lost somewhere.

They stood up. Nakul pulled her into a promising kiss that left her weak in the knees.

She followed him back in a daze; not even trying to get her mind to work. Abhijishya just wanted; just desired him.

The horse ride back felt timeless to her as her skin tingled from the memory of Nakul's insistent touches. She lost herself to his hot breath grazing her neck and his fast pounding heart against her back.

Whereas for Nakul, the journey back felt the longest. The slight scent of jasmine from Abhijishya's hair made him feel intoxicated. He wanted to touch her, hold her, make love to her but resisted as he didn't want any wanderer to find them in the forest. He was sure that if the horse didn't know the back they would've ended up somewhere else.

They got off. She had her eyes only on him. Nakul carelessly gave the reins of the horse to a soldier on their way to their chambers.

"Parihaar (privacy)" he said in a strained voice. Their chamber was dimly lit with diyas which cast long shadows on Abhijishya's skin as Nakul's fingers fluttered across it.

"Bed,"she said breathless from another kiss and was lifted up into Nakul's toned arms.

As soon as her back touched the bed, Nakul was over her. He was gentle in his ministriations as he removed her jewellery. She returned the favour taking time to kiss everywhere her fingers touched.

His eyes sought permission as he touched the knot of her blouse. Abhijishya suddenly felt shy. She hid her face into his chest but nodded. She wanted him to see her as she desired to see him.

Nakul grabbed her chin and made her look at him. She melted at the kiss of desire encased tender affection.

Soon her veil, lehenga and his dhoti ended up on the floor. He flung his aangavastra uncaring of where it landed. Abhijishya took in the sight of his lean muscular figure as he hovered over her.

Their hands explored each other's dips and lifts; learning about themselves and the other in ways they had never before.

"I love seeing you like this," he breathed out. "Only in my necklace and churamani," his voice rough and tone possessive.

"Want you," she said as her hands traced his shoulder blades and spine. He shivered and kissed her once again.

As his warm pushed into her core, tears treckled down her temples. Seeing her slightly pained expression, Nakul kissed her lips, cheeks and eyelids apologetically; giving her time to adjust. He rubbed her inner thigh comfortingly.

"Move," she demanded. His pace started slow and soon her senses were consumed with only one presence in the world. Between raged breaths, groans and whispered affectionate nonsense, they let their primal desire overtake; wanting and craving for more.

Abhijishya clung onto Nakul as she let herself collapse into the molten lava that crashed inside her and cried out his name. The sight of her drove Nakul on as his movements grew erratic.

She watched, drunk in pleasure as he tethered along the edge. Abhijishya pulled him into an ardent kiss as he let go. His arms gave out and he fell on top of her.

Both spent their venereal aftermath in other's embrace; basking into each other's presence. She craded her fingers through his hair humming in their familiar tune.

He yawned and stretched lazily. "I wish you would sing me the lyrics too some day," he said.

"Someday," Abhijishya promised; tiredness prominent in her voice. "Sleep," he whispered and nuzzled her head affectionately.

She fell asleep to Nakul's fingers drawing patterns on her stomach.

A.N. - This is my first attempt at writing an intimate scene so tell me what do you think of it. I didn't really want it to be graphic or overly obscene. Did it do the magic? Was it yay or nay?

Also I know I told DrKanu and NISHA260106 that I would update twice but it took me a lot of time putting this together. Sorry!

Next chapter will be the last one in the Dwarka arc. After that, Abhijishya and Nakul will go back to rest of the Pandavs and Draupadi.

Until the next time,
