Seeing Anand and Bela's expressions, everyone knew that they definitely felt bad coz of Sameer's behavior....and to break the building ice, Nanu asked Pandit and Preeti to go and talk with each other in private....On Bela's insistence, Preeti took Pandit out to the garden and they both settled down on the chairs....it was a bit awkward for the both of them....But Pandit's continuous gaze was making Preeti feel more awkward.....

In school, she'd never even thought that she would be sitting with this guy someday and might think of her future.....When she came down with her mother, she had realized who Pandit was, because of his afro hair look..... but it was a total shocker for her...she'd expected him to be still the same obese guy.....but here he was giving tough competition to the heroes of the new generation Bollywood......Back in school, she'd never thought that Pandit would change so much in future....even when he left London after school, she kind of missed him, though she herself didn't accept it...but she did miss his presence.....and then she just told herself that maybe he was the only entertainment in her life and that was the reason she was missing his presence...and with time, she moved on in her life, but every now and then Pandit did cross her mind...Her trance broke hearing his voice...

Pandit: Ahem..ahem....Hi Preeti..

Preeti: Hi...

Pandit: Kaisi ho? It's been long...

Preeti: I'm good...tum batao....

Pandit: Bas tumhaare saamne hi hu....Ummm...so?

Preeti: So?

Pandit: I won't beat around the bush.....See I do like you and always did...and would definitely want to consider this alliance....But your opinion really matters to me....And I know what Naina means to you..bachpan se dekha h tum dono ko....but Preeti I just wanna say that give us a chance...give me a chance and I promise I won't disappoint you ever...

Preeti went silent hearing this....she didn't know what to say..though she had no reason to deny this proposal, but still wasn't sure of it either...Though she can see honesty in his eyes....Seeing her so quiet, Pandit's heart dropped to the pit of his stomach.....He sighed and was about to get up, when Preeti's voice made him sit back again.....

Preeti: Pandit...you know what kind of past we both share...and I won't lie I'm still the short tempered one....and moreover it's not about you...but Naina...I've never imagined my life without her....But you are right....I think yeah...I'd definitely wanna give this relationship a chance...So its a YES.....

Pandit almost jumped in happiness....and Preeti chuckled seeing him.....Controlling himself, he came in front of her and after some hesitation, he held her hands in his and spoke in a very soft and loving voice....

Pandit: Thank you so much Preeti...I promise, you will never regret your decision.....aur mujhe koi problem nii hogi even if Naina will always be your first priority....in fact even for me she's very important..aakhir tumhaare pareshaan krne k baad, wahi to mere aansu pocchti thi.......

And hearing this, both of them started laughing..remembering old days....And decided to go inside and inform about their decision to their families...

Here all this while, Naina was getting restless to go out and see as to what's going on...when Preedit weren't back even after 10 mins, Naina almost sprang up from her place....

Naina: Mai dekh k aati hu..ki Di kahan h...

Bela slapped her forehead seeing her restless daughter.....

Bela: Naina....no......

Naina pouted in annoyance....and everyone chuckled seeing her, except for Mami...who had special comments about everything....

Mami: Naina beta...apni didi ki shaadi k baad kaise rahogi tum? Ab roz roz uske sasural to nii aa skti naa?

Everyone felt bad about Mami's comment, but before they could say anything, Nanu stepped up in between the conversation.....

Nanu: Are kyu nii aa skti? Aakhir uski behen ka ghar hoga....hakk h uska.....

Before Mami could say anything more, Nani glared her and she decided to keep mum.....

Just then Preedit entered and everyone were anxious to know their decision.....Pandit came and sat on his place, while Preeti settles beside Naina.....And they all waited impatiently for their response.....

Amrita: To kya decide kia aap dono ne?

Pandit: Meri haan h Di....

Amrita: Tch...vo humein pata h...hum to Preeti ji se poochh re the.....

Pandit looked at Amrita with a fake angry pout...while Amrita just mouthed a slow sorry.....and others laughed at her comment.........

Preeti: Meri b haan h....

All were elated hearing her reply...And Naina shrieked in happiness and hugged her sister......Anand came to his daughter and asked her lovingly, as he was not one of those parents, who'd force their daughters to get married just for everyone else's sake or happiness....

Anand: Beta you're happy right?

Preeti: Yes papa.....I am.....and I am absolutely sure of it......

Anand hugged his daughter....who has grown up so fast that today they are fixing her marriage.....Once Anand left her, Naina too hugged her sister.....She's always known about Pandit's  liking for her sister....but maybe she was really young back then to understand that it's always been love......

Everyone started congratulating the new couple and again forgetting about her pain, Naina stood up and got sweets from the kitchen and started feeding everyone with her own hands......She was so happy and excited that she didn't realize and pushed a piece of sweet inside Sameer's mouth and his anger filled voice stopped everyone's chattering and exhilarated shouting.....

Sameer: (angrily) What the heck? How dare you?

Naina flinched for a moment hearing his voice and Anand got really angry.....nobody had dared to speak in this manner to his daughters.....Before he can give Sameer a piece of his mind, Nanu came ahead.....

Nanu: Sameer.....tum wapas?

Sameer calmed down his raging anger, but was still shooting daggers at Naina from his eyes.....

Sameer: I forgot my phone Nanu....that's why had to come back....

Nanu: Ohh...achha hua...vo kya h ki Pandit aur Preeti ne shaadi k liye haan kr di h.....

Sameer looked at everyone, then at Pandit's nervous face....and Preeti's angry face.....She just wanted to go and hit Sameer badly for talking like this with her sister...if not for her mother holding her back, she would just have given Sameer an earful ......

Sameer had just been on his way, when he realized that he had left his phone at the Aggrawal's....He asked the driver to take a u-turn and go back.....when he entered, he found everyone really happy and excited...he just opened his mouth to call out for Nanu, when Naina came and stuffed a sweet inside his mouth...and his anger, which has been budding since the moment she fell on him snapped and he shouted on her, grabbing everyone's attention......

He came out of his thoughts, when Nanu patted his back calling out to him.....

Nanu: Sameer....

Sameer: Yeah Nanu...um...congratulations to both of you.....

Though he was congratulating them, but didn't even have a hint of smile on his face....and Naina rolled her eyes at him, who was now out of her trance...seeing the atmosphere still tensed, Amrita came forward to handle the situation....

Amrita: Vo actually kya h naa...humaare Sonu...um...I mean Sameer ko border line diabetes h..isiliye vo meetha bilkul nii khaate....isiliye thoda gussa ho gye..I'm sorry on his behalf....sorry Naina jii....

Sameer: Di aap....

Naina: It's ok...mujhe bura nii laga aur waise b ab hum rishtedaar hain...to thodi masti mazaak to chalta h...kyu h naa Sameer ji?

She deliberately stretched on his name...and one look at her face, he knew she's trynna mess with him...

Sameer: You...

But before this volcano can explode again, Nanu cut him in between.....

Nanu: Are bhai..Haan haan....masti mazaak k bina shaadiyon mei kya hi maza aayega? Kyu theek kaha naa begum?

Nani: Bilkul..waise mai kya soch rii thi, ab jb dono ki haan h....to kyu naa aaj hi shagun kr dein?

Anand and Bela were a bit shocked, though they too approved of the boy and his family, but even Roka needs some preparations.....

Anand: Ji..lekin Roka krne k liye taiyaariyaan...mera mtlb h ki....

Mami: Exactly..aur Bhaiya Bhabhi k bina Roka?

Nani: Anand jii...Roka to Pandit ji ko bula k kr lenge.....Abhi bas dono ko teeka aur aarti krke kuchh shagun kr dete hain.....

Bela: Jii par....

Nanu: Agar aapko koi dikkat h to.....

Anand: Nii nii....hum aise hi krte hain...Bela....

Bela: Jii...mai Aarti ki thaali laati hu....

All this while, Sameer was getting restless to leave.....though he loved his family, but according to him, sometimes they go over the edge and become over dramatic for him to tolerate....

Sameer: Umm..Nanu...mai chalta hu...I have a meeting.....

Before Nanu could stop, Naina hopped in between.....

Naina: Are aise kaise......Sameer ji....abhi to aap bilkul nii jaa skte..I mean aapke bhai ka shagun ho raa h aur aap jaa re hain? Aise kaise?

She said the last line, fluttering her eyelashes in utmost innocence but here eyes were full of mischief....

Sameer: You better....

Nanu: Haan Sameer....

Munna: Haan bhai ruk jaa naa....

Pandit: Please...mere liye.....

Kartik: Haan Saale sahab....ruk jaiye naa.....

Seeing all of them pleading, Sameer let out an irritated sigh and agreed to stay back.....They all stood surrounding Preedit, while Samaina were standing next to each other.....seeing everyone busy, Naina softly spoke in Sameer's ears....

Naina: Congratulations Sonu jii....

He boiled in anger hearing this name from her...except for his sister and sometimes Nanu and Nani, no one dares call him by this name......But seeing the atmosphere, he tried to keep his voice low...but that didn't hide his anger and irritation towards Naina.....

Sameer: What the fuck do you think of yourself....and how dare you call me that?

Naina: Are...rishta hone jaa raa h.....Aur abhi to Nana jii ne kaha...masti mazaak k bina shaadi...shaadi nii lagegi.....

Sameer: (angrily) You will so regret this....

Naina: Will see....Sonu jii......

She spoke challenging him...Let's see who will win this fight......

Hey everyone........Sooooooo sorry for the late update....but I lost my draft twice...then I fell sick...I know you'll must be thinking kitna beemar hoti h ye....But maine kuchh nii kia yrr....This sardi zukaam loves me so much...ki baar baar wapas aa jata h....Ab koi ldka to h nii Sameer jaise...to isi k pyaar se kaam chalana padega😂😂...but lot of my bakwaas....So...I'm posting this chapter as the last chapter of the year....
