Naina slowly opened her eyes...to find herself in the embrace of a deadly handsome and gorgeous man...who definitely wasn't looking happy at all not even concerned.....Leave alone being concerned, he was angry for sure....

Everyone stood up...with worried faces, while Amrita covered her mouth so as to avoid a shriek escape her mouth....As she knew her brother too well....Mami jii covered her eyes afraid of her nephew's wrath and anger.....And Mundit too got scared, and keeping the samosa he just picked, Pandit was ready to leave...without meeting his long time crush, Preeti.......Yes, she was his crush since childhood but she never even spoke to him properly...and this was why he decided to have an arranged meeting with her in presence of his extended family and give her a surprise of his entire transformed self......Also he had to put away his love, Samosa, even without tasting it.......

All this while, Naina kept looking at Sameer.....Her reverie was broken by a concerned voice of her father....

Anand: Are you ok beta?

Sameer immediately left Naina, and she was about to fall, but held on to Anand....And the Maheshwaris' hit their forehead.......And before the things could get weird, Nanu came ahead.....

Nanu: Beta tum theek to ho naa?

Naina was giving weird and confusing looks to Sameer, as to why did he leave her suddenly to fall again , who seemed to be least bothered. But getting hold of herself, she replied politely,

Naina: Yes dad...Uncle I'm fine.......

Nanu: Vo bura mt maanna beta, Sameer ko laga shayad tum khadi ho isiliye usne tumhe achanak se chod dia......

Before Sameer could oppose his grandfather, Nanu again continued...

Nanu: Waise beta tum?

Anand: Ye Naina h....meri chhoti beti.....

Naina: (folding hands) Namaste....

Nanu lovingly patted her head....

Nanu: Jeeti raho beta.....

Naina smiled at him and again looked at Sameer who was giving her cold looks....she too twisted her lips in annoyance looking at him....Their Cold War was interrupted by Nanu.....

Nanu: Sameer aa jaa..chal.....

He took Sameer away from there before his grandson could create an awkward situation for everyone.....He could already sense the anger bubbling up within his grandson.......hence to avoid any unnecessary drama....he had to do something to control the situation, even before it's out of control......

Nanu moved towards the others,  while Anand helped Naina towards the couch......Mami jii couldn't help....as she is not used to keeping quiet at all.....

Mami ji: Waise....aapki chhoti beti ko koi problem h kya?

Though Anand felt a little  bad and also angry but before he could revert back in anger, Amrita spoke up in the middle.....

Amrita: Jii..Mami jii ka mtlb h ki inhe kuchh chot lagi h kya?

Anand calmed down a bit hearing the soft demeanor of the girl in front of him...

Anand: Haan...vo aaj subah sb kaam dekhte huye she feel down and twist her leg.....

Amrita made a oh face and felt bad for Naina......

Bela: Haan...apni Di k liye sb khud hi krna chahti h...sunti hi nii....

Bela spoke in a fake compiling tone, while Naina looked at her mother with an angry pout......Whiel Bela chuckled and left for the kitchen.......

Amrita: Ab aap theek hain?

Naina: Haan..I'm all good.....thank you...

Amrita gently smiled in return......

Just then Bela came back, followed by a number of servants following her with trays of refreshments in their hands, and all settled down to talk about various things.....Sameer was getting restless to leave....he kept looking at his watch and phone every now and then......which was observed by both Naina and Nanu......

Naina: (in mind) Inki problem kya h? Kitne sadu h ye.....baaki sb kitne achhe se ek doosre se baat krre hain..aur ek ye h...Sadu kahin k.....mujhe b kaise patak dia...oh god...pehle to bas pair dukh raa tha, now even my kamar is broken.....agar aaj di ki baat nii hoti naa...to inhe achhe se batati ki Naina Aggrawal kon h...huh aaye bade....Mr Akdu......   

Seeing his restless grandson Nanu decided to call for Preeti so that once everything is decided, Sameer can leave from here.....Him coming here was only more than enough and no one was in a mood to test his patience to the last point....

Nanu: Ahem ahem...Mai soch raa tha ki baatein to hoti rahengi...lekin Pehle jis kaam k liye aaye hain vo kr lete hain....Preeti bitiya se mil lete hain.....kyu bhai kya kehte ho?

Nani: Haan...aap Preeti ko bula lijiye naa...

Bela: jii....

Naina smiled widely and was about to get up...

Naina: Mai abhi di ko leke aayi....

Anand: Koi zaroorat nii h.....tum nahi uthogi.....

Naina: But dad....

Anand: (placing finger on his lips) Shhh....mummy le aayengi tumhaari di ko....(turning towards Bela) Bela...

Bela: Haan....

Saying this Bela went away from there to go and bring Preeti along with her...After two minutes they both appeared....Naina was so restless to go to her sister, but her over protective father was not ready to leave off his notorious girl alone.....And Naina sat there looking at her father with a fake angry pout.......And Anand chuckled at her childishness......

Well, people say blood is thicker than water...but in reality relations which are made and accepted by heart are only strong enough to withstand the harsh realities of life and stand stronger with time.....Anand had realized it the day, when a 5 year old Naina had hugged him tightly and slept on his shoulder after crying for hours, when she had lost her parents......The big dove shaped eyes were filled with tears and also a lot of innocence...and that very day, he had decided that he would never let Naina cry....never let anything hurt his precious daughter......and when she started addressing him as Dad..that was one of the best days of his life.......And he felt his family complete....His wife and his daughters are his entire world......And now, his daughters have grown up....today they are finding an alliance for Preeti...Soon she would leave them, and then Naina too would leave them one day....he just wanted someone who could understand and love his daughters just like he and Bela did...and never let both the girls feel the absence of their parents even after they were gone.....

Seeing her father so lost, with a hint of tears in his eyes and a small and emotional smile on his lips.....she gently tugged at his hand and asked him through gesture 'Kya hua?' and he just shook his head and by that time, Preeti sat down after touching the elders feet and giving Swati and Amrita a soft hug....Pandit was lost in her totally.....and seeing Pandit, Preeti was amazed or rather shocked......

This was not that fat looking boy who was always the target of the famous boys in the school......because of his chubby, rather healthy appearance....curly afro like hair......that Pandit was always found holding some wrap or burger in his hands...while Preeti was always amongst the famous ones....and he kept looking at Preeti from afar...Preeti had always ignored him...even ragged him at times in school along with her gang, but he never told this anyone not even his or her parents who were really good friends being neighbors....only Naina was the one who spoke to him nicely, and befriended him....though she too was unaware of his likeness towards her elder sister.....And Naina had cried a lot, when after school Pandit had decided to move to India with his aunt's family, as she thought that she had lost an elder brother.....And Pandit had decided to leave London seeing Preeti's behavior and also thought that staying close to his relatives would help him....And Sameer being a complete fitness freak, changed his entire personality.....and finally he is sitting here, to discuss about a marriage alliance with Preeti, with both their families...and for him, it's all been possible coz of Sameer....and that's why for him, Sameer was most important and also his acceptance for that matter...though Sameer himself does not believe in love or anything....but still, unknowingly he had helped him......

Pandit was lost in Preeti, thinking about all their past and childhood memories, when his eyes fell on Naina, who was giving him teasing looks......And he blushed profusely rubbing the back of his neck, he tried to concentrate on the discussions going on around him.......Naina too chuckled and decided not to bother her might be jiju anymore....but was glad to see how much he loved her elder sister which she had realized long back in school itself, but never got a chance to speak about it to Pandit, and prayed to god in her heart..that her sister too accepts this alliance.....

Amrita: To..Preeti aap kya krti hain?

Preeti: Well basically I am fashion designer.....But abhi to free lance hi kaam krri hu....

Amrita: Are waah...humaare Sonu....

She bit her tongue and turned towards Sameer who was looking at his elder sister angrily...he had never liked being called Sonu in front of outsiders or his staff...but out of habit, Amrita had again said it.....

Amrita: I mean Sameer...he owns a fashion based company....

Preeti: Ohh..that's nice....

Preeti spoke with a gentle smile, to which Sameer as always ignored.....and Preeti for sure did not like his attitude....and before she could say anything...Nani's voice got everyone's attention.....

Nani: Hum sb to baatein krte rahenge.....pehle ldka aur ldki baat kr lein?

Nanu: Haan....aakhir decision inhe hi lena h....

But as always Mr. Maheshwari have to poke his nose in everything.....(I've no idea why this guy is so restless....)

Sameer: Umm...I'll take your leave, I've an urgent meeting....

Nanu: Lekin Sameer...

Sameer: Nanu it's important....

Nanu just sighed and nodded...as there was no way they could make him stay back......

Sameer stood up and found Mundit and Amrita looking at him with puppy face, and without saying anything, he just nodded slightly, which his siblings understood and smiled widely....He shook his head in disbelief and went out.....

Though Bela and Anand too found his behavior a bit rude and cold...but didn't say anything in front of everyone........And Naina kept looking at his retreating figure....though she hoped to not meet him ever again, but if Pandit and Preeti were to get married, this wouldn't be possible....She would have to meet this Sadu Maheshwari again and again maybe...God knows till when......
