After a exhausting tour of territory,Dewpaw collasped on his nest.The wind was whispering and leaves rustled.Dewpaw awoke,but not in den.

Dewpaw went out with Shadywind,Dewpaw crouched,he could smell a vole.Dewpaw sprang in air,putting his paws out,Gave the Vole a killing bite.

Dewpaw carried a vole and Robin.Dewpaw dropped his prey on pile.Dewpaw grabbed a mouse,and crouched to eat.His teeth sank in flesh of mouse,He tore off flesh and ate it up.

Tomorrow,He was going to learn Battle skills.He licked his lips.So he got up and padded back to den.

As he went,He heard some cat's yowl.It was Lightstripe,The ginger elder who went to drink.The elder had deep wounds,in her fur.She collasped and lying on her side.

"A fox attacked me!I went out to take drink with patrol and told them.I could make it on my own."Lightstripe yowled with agony.Cats murmured.

Lightstripe was carried to Snowberry's Den.But by time they got her there,Lightstripe had passed away.
