Having a small fight in the school's parking lot before class was something you never thought you would experience—but lo and behold, there you were.

Although you didn't want to leave the argument open for later, you had no desire being late to your history class. Slinging your backpack over your shoulder, you muttered a goodbye to your boyfriend before trudging into the school.

He watched you disappear into the crowd, and soon followed; simply just trying to get to his locker before first period. Fortunately enough, he was willing to try and talk to you before he had to wait until his chemistry class at the end of the day.

His expression was entirely gloomy when he walked into the school, not bothering to shed a smile for anyone. However, he quickly ran up to you as soon as he saw you standing at your own locker; not too far from his.

Instead of attempting to get your attention, he started talking to you. ❝y/n, I'm so so sorry about last night. I shouldn't have left you. It's my own fault, you had nothing to do with it. I feel absolutely horrible.❞

You shut your locker, clutching your books tightly to your chest. To say you were hurt was a complete understatement.

❝It's okay, I guess. I just—I don't ask you what you're ignoring me for, and I hope it isn't for the wrong reason—but just please don't leave me like that ever again,❞ The tears were utterly evident in your eyes. ❝let alone on our anniversary.❞

Peter took notice of this, almost immediately tearing up with you. He softly intertwined his fingers into yours, pulling you into his arms. A few tears escaped your eyes as you placed your head on his shoulder and held him tight.

❝I promise nothing bad is going on. I love you so much, you have no idea. You are the absolute light and love of my life. I promise I won't do it again.❞ Peter whispered before pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
