peter was completely confused as to what had just happened. one minute he was climbing up a rope, getting a rush of adrenaline, and then he was asking you on a date.

It's not that he didn't like you, but he didn't ever think he had a chance with you. To him, you seemed way too out of his league; even despite being one of his closest friends.

  ❝I'd love to go on a date with you, Peter. Hey, I have to go, but I'll talk to you later, yeah?❞  You asked, walking back towards the lockerrooms with a smile on your face.

Peter happily nodded, watching as you traveled back. A few minutes passed before realization hit him, a grin appearing on his face. A small skip in his step was evident to the world as he started his search for Ned, needing someone to express his excitement to.
