You were all seated in the library, congratulating MJ on her new achievement in the decathlon team. After the meeting, you and Peter both planned on going on a long-awaited date. After the two of you made it official, he trusted you with his super-hero secret. This also meant he would often give you rainchecks on hang-outs and dates.

So, when Peter gazed down at his phone and started to make up an excuse, the fact that he was going to be questioned was inevitable.

"What are you hiding, Peter?" She asked, staring at him with a confused and unfazed stare. Peter froze, gaze shifting over to you as if he was signaling a cry for help. You tried to keep a straight face as his expression got more and more worried. Shrugging your shoulders, you simply decided to let him figure out what to do, considering his sudden absence would mean another postponed date. "I'm just kidding, I don't care, bye."

Once Peter left, your phone buzzed.
