Taehyung's mom wasn't as pissed off as she was on the call earlier. She let him go with a few comments about being safe and always telling her where he was going to be. Nothing could ruin the good mood he was in at the moment. That was until a feeling of dread crept over him when he opened Jimin's texts.

He could tell from the way the texts progressed that Jimin was not happy with him. The texts started of with a good morning text followed by sweet messages about how he slept and what he dreamt about. When Taehyung still hadn't responded, the texts got more and more worried.

Jimin

Where are you?? You always tell me ahead of time when you're going to be busy :/

Taehyung

Sorry sorry sorry. I was out and about today and had my phone on DND. How can I make it up to you?

Jimin

Oh, were you? What were you up to? I was getting kind of worried and was about to drive over.

Taehyung

Got some ice cream and stuff. It was nice out. I knew you would be busy today so I didn't ask you to join.

Jimin

Oh I see. Alright well I have some work to get to. Ttyl.

That was that. He couldn't tell Jimin about Jungkook because he was not the root of his issues in his relationship. It would be unfair to both of them if that were the case. Still, Taehyung couldn't help but feel like a whore. It was like his step-father was still in his head cussing him out and calling him disgusting. Maybe it would be best to distance himself from Jungkook until his issues were solved.

Just then he got a text from the man himself... Who was he kidding he could not lose the chance of growing closer to him.

Jungkook 

Just got home. Did you get an earful after I dropped you?

Taehyung

Nice. Surprisingly I didn't. Usually I would get an earful but my mom seems to be in a good mood today.

Jungkook

That's a relief. I was starting to feel a little guilty, but that means I can show you this.

Just like that he spent some time texting Jungkook before guilt started to bubble up and eat away at his happiness. He sighed before telling the other he had to go work on a project and turned his phone off. What was wrong with him all of a sudden?
