I didn't know love hurt. Shit if I knew it hurt I wouldn't have fell in love. It was such a normal day, end of January and I was hanging out with my best friend.

Rae: so I have this dealer he wants to meet us to see if you'll like some weed
Y/n: ughh fine

So we meet up at this diner, me and rae was eating fries and chillin. The first person to walk in is this girl.

Emily: heyyy how are you
Rae: I'm chilling
Emily: who are you?
Y/n: y/n
Emily: thats pretty, I'm Emily

Then walks in two guys

Aaron: Hey love
Jonathan: Hey Rae
Rae: Don't call me that or I'll hit you
Emily: you know she doesn't like that why do you mess with her
Aaron: I'm sorry Rae

Then he looked at me

Aaron: who's this?
Y/n: I'm y/n
Aaron: I'm Aaron
Jonathan: I'm Jonathan
Y/n: nice to meet you
Emily: we should be in a group chat so we can talk to each other
Aaron: fosho

There was something about Aaron, I didn't know what though. From what I learned from Rae he was 2 years older than me. He is what you consider a "bad boy". He is in a gang and lives by himself. We exchanged numbers but I was really trying to figure out how I could sneak away.

Aaron: so how do you know Rae
Y/n: she's my best friend
Aaron: bestfriend?
Emily: no she's our bestfriend, we've know her longer
Jonathan: coming up 6 years
Aaron: how long do you know her
Y/n: a year coming in November

He laughed

Y/n: what's funny?
Aaron: nothing nothing
Rae: what are you guys doing later
Jonathan: finna hang out with Aaron
Aaron: yeah this idiot wants to drink
Aaron: what about yall
Rae: I have to go home and clean
Emily: home
Jonathan: y/n?
Y/n: oh I have homework to do
Rae: we will see y'all later

Me and Rae both get up, as she walked off Aaron stopped me

Aaron: we should exchange numbers
Y/n: what for?
Aaron: so we all can keep in contact and make a group chat
Y/n: I don't talk in group chats
Aaron: I'll make you talk
Y/n: oh yeah?
Aaron: yeah, come on what's the worst that can happen

Did I know that this simple interaction would change my life forever no. This was the start to some of the worst years of my life. From that day forward, I started thinking about him. I only knew this man for a day now and he was on my mind all the time. He texted me when I was constantly hanging out with my best friend. He went to a high school about an hour away from me. My best friend and I went to charter school. When I woke up the next day, he was the first person I saw on my phone. He texted me asking if I wanted to be in a relationship with him. Asked him why and what was the reason? Instead of telling me a reason, he said it's too late. He had already the entire school that he went to that we were together. He was the quarterback of the football team. So he was very known at school. In my head, I was thinking oh my God. I am known at a school I've never been to. Later that day we went to hang out. Johnny had this weird attitude with me. We sat at the park at one of the picnic tables. Of course Aaron was there as well and he decided it was a good idea to put his arm around me.

Aaron: so how is everyone today?
Y/n: I'm good
Jonathan: yeah I bet you are
Y/n: what's that supposed to mean?
Jonathan: nothing
Y/n: if you can say that then you can say what that's supposed to mean
Jonathan: so nobody else finds it weird that you known him only for a day and you have a boyfriend
Y/n: wait what you actually believe that
Aaron: hey stop being a dick
Jonathan: I'm just saying it's giving hoe activities
Y/n: takes one to know one

I don't understand what his problem was with me. Did he not know this was a fake relationship? He had to know Aaron is his best friend. I would assume that Aaron tells him everything right? Rae and Emily knew that it was all fake relationship. While this argument was going on, they were laughing. Did they know something that I didn't know? Jonathan got up and walked off to smoke.

Y/n: what was that about?
Aaron: don't worry about him
Y/n: so why do you need to have a fake relationship? Don't you have like millions of girls all over you

He laughed at me

Aaron: no that would be Jonathan
Y/n: aren't you like the star quarterback of your school
Aaron: I am just the girls like Jonathan

He seemed a little angry by that and didn't understand why

Y/n: so how long have you known Jonathan?
Aaron: since we were kids, we've been close ever since
Y/n: You guys are so opposite though
Aaron: we're pretty similar actually, a lot of things you don't know about us y/n

I mean he is right I just met him, but what did he mean by that? Is there something that I'm not supposed to know about them or something I'm not supposed to know about him? I hated to say this, but I was falling deep for this man and I just met him. There was something about him that was so charismatic. The closer got to him, the more Jonathan got mad at me.
