As you were showering, you head was filled with all kinds of thoughts.

"Dad, what else do you know?" you thought, "and how did that surgery from years ago cause a gap in Issei's memory? Maybe I shouldn't have decided to read through some of your notes, but would that have been better?"

Soon enough, the door opened.

"Can I come in?"

You looked outside the shower and saw Rias, who, at that moment, was not wearing any clothes.

"Sure..." you said as you looked away, pretty embarrassed. "Why not?"

Rias: "Come on, you're my boyfriend, and you've seen me naked before. No reason to be embarrassed."

"Still hard to believe this is happening."

Rias: "It's okay."

She hugged you and pushed her chest against your back. You were left embarrassed, but allowed it since you didn't want to tell her to leave.

Rias: "You're more muscular than before."

"I've been training a lot. Still not a fan of when Koneko suddenly appeared and put heavy-ass weights on my back when I do push ups."

Rias: "She does the same for Issei, but that's just her way of trying to look out for you."

"I guess. How's Issei doing?"

Rias: "He's still got a long road to travel. The contracts he makes are at a slow pace, and he has yet to have a Familiar, but he's getting better."

"Glad to hear it."

After getting finished with your shower, you and Rias dried off and went to your rooms while you looked at a picture of yourself with your parents before your mom passed away. You used your abilities to see if Rias is asleep, and once you saw her sleeping, you used a device Adam put in your room to teleport into the secret lab without making noise.

You went to the terminal and entered Adam's credentials to access it, then you went through the mainframe and finds a file on something called "The Loophole Protocol". Checking it out, you found a video of Adam.

Adam: "Y/N's friend got into an accident because of a worthless drunk. I analyzed his blood and other DNA samples and discovered he is the current Red Dragon Emperor. Knowing those devils, they'll try to get to him with their damn reincarnation ritual, but I'm almost done with something that, if it works, will allow the kid to retain his independence as a human."

You played the next video and saw Adam in a joyful and somewhat crazed state.

Adam: "I have it! I have it! The damage would have caused Issei to remain in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but I have perfected a device that will help him retain his ability to walk and keep him out of the machinations of those Devils."

A blueprint of a spinal device appeared, along with the words "Loophole Protocol".

Adam: "I call it the Loophole Protocol."

You played the next video, which showcased Issei recovering as it cut to Adam showing a prop of the device he used on Issei.

Adam: "The Loophole Protocol Device, or LPD, will protect him from the Devils' control due to it acting as something of a medium between the host and those Evil Pieces. It will absorb the Evil Pieces and allow the revival magic they use to resurrect them should they die, while keeping them from becoming an actual devil. The contracts, wings and magic they use will be because of the LPD. And even better, should they decide to break their binds to their masters, the LPD can remove the evil pieces out of them. They'll still keep their magic, but will no longer be bound to them or any of the Three Factions that seek to replenish their numbers. Also as an added bonus for Issei, I removed the three weeks of when he met an old man literally talking about the wonders of the female body and pretty much infected him with it. I think he'll be better off without it."

Once the video ended, you teleported back to your room, surprised at what you witnessed, and unlocked the door before going to sleep. Once morning came, you went downstairs and heard Rias communicating with Akeno.

Rias: "That idiot."

"What is it?"

Rias: "Oh, you're up. It's Issei. I fear he's gone rogue a bit. Something came up with Kiba and Issei's trying to help him."

"I assume they aren't going to get off easy in spite of your worry for them?"

Rias: "A master has to discipline their servants. As much as I don't like it."

"Well, I just hope they know what they're doing."

Rias: "Same. Hey, there's most likely going to be a huge fight on our hands. Will you help us?"

"Sure thing, Rias. For you and Issei, and the others."

Rias: "I'm glad to hear it."
