You are in a Virtual Reality simulation testing what your power is capable of.

Adam: "Now Y/N, you're powers aren't at the level of those who have previously been chosen by Pandora. But with time and training, I believe you can be the strongest there ever was."

"What powers will I be capable of?"

Adam: "The Devils hold the power of destruction, while the other two factions possess the powers of light. But the Astral Plane is so much more than anything. Try manifesting something. Imagine a simple object and think of it forming in your hand."

You imagined a cube with an identical design to the Astral Plane and it formed in your hand.

Adam: "Alright, now let's--"

You heard the doorbell ring and see on the screens that it's Rias.

Adam: "Damn. Have to try later. Y/N, get the door, please."

After taking you out of the simulation, you quickly escaped the secret lab and answered the door.

"Hey Rias. I didn't know you were dropping by today."

You looked behind her, seeing the other members of the Occult Research Club.

"Did we schedule a gathering?"

Rias: "It was a last-minute thing. Can we go to your room?"

"Hey, Dad, can my friend come inside?"

Adam: "Sure thing. Just keep things tidy."

Rias: "Thank you."

Everyone went inside and entered your room.

Rias: "Y/N, though you are not of my peerage, you are one of us, should tell you something."

"What is it?"

Rias: "You are familiar that Devils make deals with humans, correct?"

"All stories and rumors have to have truths."

Rias: "Exactly, but there is more to those. The war between the three factions ended with no winners, but heavy casualties on all sides. And to make up for our eternal lifespan, we devils reproduce very slowly."

"So devils are on the edge of extinction?"

Rias: "Yep. After the hostilities, the families of noble and pure-blooded devils, known as the 72 Pillars, mostly died out. Only three houses of the 72 Pillars remain: House Gremory, House Sitri, and House Phoenix. It's for this reason that we began recruiting humans as our servants."

Issei: "Are you going to tell him about the Rating Game?"

Rias: "I was getting to that."

"Is that like a trial or something?"

Rias: "Kind of. The Rating Game was created to not only allow our servants to gain real battle experience but also to give us masters a chance to demonstrate our abilities. One's performance in these games has a huge influence on rank and position."

"Essentially, it's to separate the wheat from the chaff."

Rias: "Unfortunately, the weak hardly has a chance in our current situation, so yes. And the reason I'm telling you this is because me and my peerage are to enter one in a few weeks."

"If you need another member, then I guess I can accept."

Rias: "Thank you, but I think we need to win with our own strength. Your power has immense potential, but it's still young. Also, Issei kinda talked me out of it."

"You talked her out of that offer?"

Issei: "I didn't want to be selfish and take you away from your dad. And I thought this could be my way of repaying the favor for saving me back then."

Rias: "I'll let you know if we need any help, but for now, keep trying to understand your powers."

"Okay. There is something I managed to figure out."

Issei: "What's that?"

You formed a cube in your hands and it floated.

"I haven't figured it out yet, but I think I can manifest things so long as I can concentrate on what I'm thinking of."

Issei: "Cool. I bet you'll do a lot more than summon cubes. No offense."

"None taken. I'm still figuring this out."

Rias: "Well, we best get going. Thanks for letting us in, Y/N."

"No problem."

Everyone left, and you went back to the secret lab with Adam.

"Did you hear all that?"

Adam: "Yep. But, I do see them as trustworthy for the time being. And I get that they are your friends as well as Issei's. So let's practice your manifestation ability."

You summoned the cube again, but this time you imagined two more and combines the three into a larger cube.

Adam: "Yes. I know it doesn't seem like much, but the fact that you can create something from Astral Matter is astounding. Try changing it into a different shape."

You concentrated, and turned it into a diamond. You then got an idea and, after grabbing a pencil lead, you put it to the Astral Object and it took on the properties of the lead, becoming it.

Adam: "It became led. Try undoing it."

You imagined separating the lead and it happens.

Adam: "Excellent. Now, we'll try again another day. I need to get back to work for the week. Have fun at school tomorrow."

The next day, you are at school, drinking a can of soda.

Rias: "Hey Y/N."

"Hey Rias. Need anything?"

Rias: "Yes, actually. Issei told me that when you two were captured, he heard a voice telling him to embrace his anger. And that place we found the other day, what do you know about it?"

"That place we came across is connected to a dimension called "The Astral Plane" and that voice he heard was from a being that resides in it."

Rias: "What is it?"

"All I can tell you is that it seems to be physical data, and I saw something there."

Rias: "What did you see?"

"Possibilities."

Rias: "Can I see this place?"

"I don't know how I can get there, but if I find out how I'll tell you."

Rias: "Thank you."

Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of her smile and you blushed.

"Wow," you thought. "I think I want to see all her sides. Issei and the others, I want to see what they see in her."
