A HAUNTING ↵

IT WAS DARK IN THE CITY, a cool breeze making people walking in the cluttered streets shiver. 

It was the time of night where everyone was finding somewhere to hide, somewhere to lay low for the night.

 Where no evil would find them. 

A scream was heard in the distance. Nobody moved to help the wailing women in the street. They knew that their own death would come if they aided the helpless victim.

       "Help me!" The women shrieked loudly, echoing throughout the dead streets.

            Her screams would haunt them for the rest of the night.

She found herself in the Belle Reve Penitentiary under the directorship of Amanda Waller. Well, more like dictatorship.

She knew that what was happening at the penitentiary wasn't right. She wasn't supposed to be here.

It had all gone wrong that one day she was running away from a drug deal gone wrong.

She ran so hard and so far.

She flew from the scene of the crime, where the Joker had reeked havoc yet again. She had seen him and she was afraid.

 But luck was not on her side. She ran straight from the Joker right into the clutches of Lex Luthor, a billionare who happened to be carrying a crate full of unknown matter: kryptonite.

Little did she know, she would run right into Lex and get hurt by the alien matter.

Little did she know that she would get infected by something. How she would become the demon she really was and destroy a hospital.

And how that precise night, the rest of her life would be ruined.

How that night she would become something people would fear. 

How she would then become apart of a group that would battle crime. 

A group of criminals.

      And how she would become the Raven.
