At a 2nd years training fields

Maki, Panda, Inumaki and Yuta were training

"That's not how you do it! But I will let you slide this time "

Maki said to panda as she went to drink water after their sparing

"Don't you think Maki-chan is in a very good mood today?"

Panda asked quietly

The other two boys nodded their heads in agreement.

"Yeah, she didn't even scold us for mistakes today. Or yelled that we are stupid. I wonder what made her so happy?"

Yuta said in a wondering voice

"Shake shake"

Inumaki agreed

Just then another person joined their training

"My queen, here you are! I've been looking for you for a whole 17 minutes!"

Yumi loudly exclaimed as she hugged Maki from the back. The sudden contact made Maki yelp a bit

"Yumi!"

Maki said, embarrassed as Yumi kept nuzzling her head on the back of her neck. Leaving butterfly kisses

All while the others had wide eyes. Confused as to why their only female teammate was so close to their upper classman

"Is this normal?"

Panda asked in a confused voice

"I don't think so..... I've never seen kugisaki-chan and Maki-san act so close.... What's going on?"

Yuta said

"Okaka!"

Inumaki agreed, his already big eyes even more wide with surprise

"Yumi let me go! There are people here"

Maki said, her eyes closed tightly and cheeks a bit flushed

"Well it's a free show for them"

Yumi said with a smirk

"Yumi please!"

She sighed as she let Maki go.

Maki took a few deep breaths before looking back and facing Yumi. For some reason, Yumi looked a little overly excited. Which, most of the time, is not a good sign

Maki raised an eyebrow at her

"You look excited"

Her grin spread even more, if it was even possible seeing how widely she was grinning

"Guess what, darling!?"

"What?"

Maki asked suspensiosly

"Did she just call Maki darling or am I hearing things!?"

Yuta asked panda, who was equally shocked

"Here you go! This is my first gift to you as my girlfriend!"

Yumi said joyfully as she handed Maki an envelope

"As your what now/ Tanaka!?"

Panda, Inumaki and Yuta screamed in union. Looking at them with wide eyes

Yumi looked at them and smiled. Then wrapped an arm around Maki's waist, bringing Maki closer to herself she kissed her on the cheeks

"You heard right, hoes! I have the most gorgeous girlfriend in the face of the universe"

Yumi said pridefully proclaimed

By this Maki was closing her eyes with a poker face, trying to stay tuff and pushed down the blush that was threatening to come to her cheeks

"Maki-san, you're her girlfriend?"

Yuta asked

"Okaka!?"

Inumaki yelled, still in denial

"You two are an item? Since when? And I thought you liked Yuta Maki! And Yumi, aren't you dating Yuji"

Yumi just shrugged with a smirk

"Shut up! I've never liked Yuta like that. He's a loyal friend! And.... Yes I am dating her. Now shut up and don't go anounsing this to the whole Tokyo!"

Maki said, extremely embarrassed and flustered

"And yes, I've got a boyfriend and a girlfriend! Now what can I say, Perks of being Yumi Tsukomo."

Yumi said while they openly gawked at her

"Now you're showing off too much!"

Maki said

"I am sorry my queen. Now, look at the gift I got for you"

Maki sighed at her girlfriend's excited look. She opened the envelope, read through the paper with a blank look before looking at Yumi and throwing herself at her

Yumi invited her with open arms and hugged her with just as much force

"How did you do it!?"

Maki asked with such a childish smile on her face that it left the rest of her teammates speachless. They had never seen Maki like this since they've meet her and thats at least 2 years ago so.....

Yumi chuckled

"Well, I did have to visit the Zenin clans main house a little."

Maki raised an eyebrow, to which Yumi just shrugged with a closed eyed smile

Flashback

at the Zenin main house

It was a normal Monday morning for Naobito Zenin. He was having a talk about the Zenin sorcerer team with his beloved ( worthless and misogynist) son when the suddenly all of the house servents rushed in the room without even knocking

Now this is highly unusual, their servents didn't even have the guts to breathe without their permission and they knew their place (according to Naobito)

But they looked like they'd just seen a gosht

"What -

"Naobito-sama, Yumi Tsukomo is outside the gates.... She had already fought against 17 of our semi first grade sorcerers because we didn't allow her to meet you and said you're bust"

Both father and son's faces went pale as they quickly told them to bring the women back

After a few excruciating minutes, Yumi walked in the room in her full glory

"Hello there you rotten faced shit! I hope you're having a mortifying day!"

Yumi said with an overly excited and Friendly smile. While the Zenin clan head and heir gulped in horror.

They know damn well this woman hates their guts. She would rather kill them if it cames to choose between them and a serial killer. And the last time she came here was the time when they had to fix half of the clan residential area because she blew it up with her technique. They could only watch and see

"Tsukomo-san"

Naobito sain in a hard tone, to which she grinned

"Listen, I am not here to talk to your shitty misogynistic ass! So I will cut the chase. I've heard that my queen, my Maki is still hanging at the lowest position the jujutsu society has to offer when I know damn well she is worthy of atleast a second grade"

She said with a grin, but her eyes were dead, that smile felt cold and unwelcoming. Sending shivers down their spines with fear.

"Tsukomo-san -

"Oi don't take my name from your filthy mouth so many times, I don't like it. I want you to sign here. She's gonna be a second grade like she deserves or else no body will recognize your and your worthless son's body after you're deaths."

That's all it took for Naobito Zenin to hestily sign the paperwork she gave them. She took the paper back and was about to leave when stopped for a second. Then looked back at them

"Remember Toji Fushiguro? The one man you treated like a dirt bag yet he turned out to shove a fuckin pine tree up your ass? Remember, my Maki also is like him and I gave you my words, when Maki will perfect her heavenly restrictions, she will be the one you will slay this disgusting excuse of a clan. "

Then a eiry grin came to her face as she said the last lines before leaving

"That's the only reason I'm still allowing you to breath in this air. Because if I kill you it won't be fair to her..... She's the only one who deserves to behead you other then Toji. So since Toji is not here, it only makes my queen the chosen one. I'll be waiting for that day....  Mark my words, that day isn't that far"

With she left with a shaken clan house

End of Flashback

After telling everyone that, they were just bluntly gaping at her

"Thank you, Yumi. I really appreciate your trust on me"

Maki said, looking at her gratefully

Yumi just shrugged and wrapped her arms around her waist again

"Now lets go eat at a nice restaurant to calibrate! My treat since it's my lovely girlfriend's achievement "

They all cheered, as Yumi was walking and talking to panda, Maki couldn't help but stare at her with a smile while thinking to herself

"Thank you for putting your trust on me.... My Yumi"
