Hex tapped his foot in annoyance, “it's 2:30 am, what the fuck could they possibly be doing.”
“Maybe getting ready?” Edgar shrugged.
“Doubt it, something seems off.” Ector bit his lip slightly.
Meanwhile, inside the warehouse, they were indeed getting ready. Emmanuel watched from the upper balcony as his fellow members got ready for the meeting that would change history.
“Emmanuel,” he completely forgot he was on the phone, but once he heard her voice, he rushed to the phone, “why do you have to stay in New York? Can't you come to Florida and stay not only for just a weekend!”
“I know baby, I miss you too, but work is making me stay,” he could hear her sigh over the phone, “I promise you, after this last job, I’ll be in Florida.”
“You said that last time…” she pouted, spreading out her milk chocolate skinned toes so she could paint her toenails, “baby, is this ‘work’ really work or is it another woman.”
She clenched the bottle of nail polish in anger. Emmanuel laughed, “it’s not, don't worry, you’re my one and only.”
She giggled and blushed, tucking strands of her multi-colored hair behind her ear, “awe, I’m special~”
Emmanuel leaned back in his chair in his office, “did you get my gifts?”
“Yes,” she blushed even more, “how-how’d you kno-know I liked lingerie like that?”
“We’ve been together for how long now?” Emmanuel asked rhetorically.
“Around 4 years.” she laid back on her bed, basking in the Florida night skyline.
“So of course I know what you like.” Emmanuel smiled, looking up at the sky, knowing his love was staring at it too.
A certain knock was heard at the door, he looked towards it to see his 2nd in command, Dizzy Hertz, peeking into the doorway, a sly smirk on her face.
“Is that your girlfriend~” Dizzy cooed, snickering.
“Yes,” Emmanuel answered in the same tone, “is there a reason why you’re here?”
Dizzy was a short, slender, attractive young woman with long, straight, golden-blonde hair, most commonly styled with a portion of her hair in pigtails tied with red bands.
Dizzy often dresses in a Gothic and Punk fashion, though noticeably less after the time skip. She also typically paints her nails bright red or dark purple and wears bright red lipstick.
“Because~ All the members are waiting for this thing to start, it’s 2 am Big Brother.” Dizzy yawned, “I wanna sleep!”
“Yeah, yeah,” Emmanuel ruffled her hair, he always treated Dizzy better because she was practically his little sister. Sure, the two weren’t related by blood at all but they’ve been through so much it was like they were practically siblings!
Emmanuel walked with Dizzy downstairs, signaling to his men at the door to let the Dragons in. Once the doors opened, the Ruby Rebels sweatdropped at what they saw.
“I said I was sorry for eating your lunch, Gabi! Chill! I’ll make you more tamales tomorrow!” Hex submitted to Gabriella’s submission hold, taping out as his sister held his leg back.
“You better!” Gabriella cackled.
“Ahem,” Dizzy coughed fakely, getting their attention, “I don't know about you but I’d like to get this over with as soon as possible.”
“Cool it, Emo Princess,” Gabriella got off her brother, walking inside as Hex, Ector, Edgar, and the other dragons followed her lead, “I don't want to be here as much more than you do.”
“Great,” Dizzy sat across from Gabriella, “so we’re on the same page.”
“Let’s get this over with,” Emmanuel groaned, his thoughts weren’t on the meeting, but on his lady in Florida.
“You hurt Saree, her house and job are neutral zones, I want payment for the renovations of her job and we’re claiming that entire section as our territory.” Hex declared, Emmanuel scoffed.
“You’re messing with me right?” Emmanuel laughed, looking at Hex’s serious face.
“No, we’re dead serious, either you agree to give us the turf or we take drastic measures,” Edgar growled.
“Oh please, I doubt you really want to start a war.” Emmanuel chuckled.
“I’ll start a fucking war if I want to!” Hex stood up proudly.
“Watch your tongue Hex.” Emmanuel hissed.
“You don't want a repeat of what happened to Roxy,” Emmanuel cooed, Hex slammed Emmanuel’s face to the table, his fist coated in fire.
“I dare you to say her name again! I fucking dare you!” Hex threatened, Dizzy and the rest of the Ruby Rebels stood ready to attack at the Golden Dragons.
“Roxy deserved better!” At those words, Hex lost it, he pushed his head through the table, pinning him to the floor.
“She had me, she was the best fucking thing I’ve ever loved!” He clenched his throat.
“And mention her name again, I’ll make sure your body is ash!” Hex stomped on his chest, the sound of sirens ringing through his ears.
“Well shit,” Hex whistled loudly, telling the Dragons to run off into the night. As much as the Ruby Rebel hated it, they followed the Dragons but went the opposite direction.
Amidst the chaos, Dizzy lost her big brother, she hid in the alleyway behind some garbage cans. The sounds of the sirens brought back memories of her childhood. She would constantly be used as a pack mule, her family would use her as their transporter for drug deals.
And often then not, it would end ugly for Dizzy.
She held the sides of her head, rocking back and forth, muttering to herself that she was home, safe, and not behind a garbage can.
The cops were still looking for Dragons and the Rebels, most have run off by a certain duo was very persistent.
“Shawn, it’s 4 am! Let’s go back!” Shawn’s partner, Clair, replied yawning for the 7th time. Clair was a beautiful young woman, 24 years of age, mocha chocolate skin with green eyes. She had dull pink lips and her curly, kinky, black hair was styled into two puffballs.
She wore a leather black jacket, a white polo shirt with two buttons unbuttoned under it, and black jeans with ankle boots.
The sound of crying ran through Shawn’s ears, “Clair, stop the car.” Shawn ordered, Clair sighed and stopped the car.
Shawn got out of the cop car and into the rainy New York alleyway, with an umbrella to cover him. The sound of sniffling made him inch closer to the trash cans “hello?”
Dizzy shielded her head with her arms, “I-I-I’m inno-innocent!”
Shawn crouched down, putting the umbrella over the both of them, “I know,” Shawn gave her his jacket, “come on, let’s get you back home.”
Dizzy shook her head, “my big brother said you can-can't trust co-cops!”
Shawn chuckled, “you can trust me,” Shawn helped her up, walking her to the car, “I’m Shawn GrimsBane, that’s Clair Grey, we work for the NYPD and we’ll help you.”
He sat in the back with her, passing Dizzy a towel, “doesn’t that feel better? Miss…”
“Dizzy, Dizzy Hertz.”
“Dizzy is fine, I’m not married or in a relationship.” Dizzy looked down at her feet.
So she’s single? Shawn smirked slightly.
She yawned, laying her head on Shawn’s shoulder, “maybe cops...aren’t so...bad…”

“So, Hex, this is,” Hex’s therapist looked at her clipboard, “8th session now, and I feel obligated to ask you how the meeting was.”
“Oh great doc, ya know, may have started a war.” Hex shrugged, chuckling nervously. The therapist, Dr. Jasmine, sighed, shaking her head.
“May have started a war he said,” Dr. Jasmine mocked under her breath, “this is the super important reason why you choose to meet at the mechanics at,” she looked at the clock, “4:43 am?”
Hex nodded, passing her a bowl of soup, “yep,” Hex sat across from her, “plus, Edgar misses you.”
“He was supposed to meet me at home,” Jasmine muttered, their heads turning towards the door to meet a drenched Edgar.
“Holy shit, Hex! Did you see how I dodged those cop cars?! I’m pretty sure I made them crash!: Edgar exclaimed, his eyes then meeting with Jasmine’s “hey Jasmine, how’s everything.”
“You made your nephew start a war?!” Jasmine roared, grabbing him by the ear, “what happened to I’m gonna be responsible?!”
“I know, I know,” Edgar rubbed the back of his neck, Jasmine glared at him soon turning to a smile.
“I’m just glad your safe, I don't need my husband dying because his nephew wants to start a war.” Jasmine glared at Hex.
“I'll leave you two be,” Hex chuckled, grabbing an umbrella before leaving the mechanics.
For a man who just started a turf war, Hex was strangely happy. That was only because he knew Cruella was safe and sound at home, waiting for him.
He climbed up to her balcony to see the light was on. He began to grow suspicious, he knew Cruella wouldn't be up at this time so who could it be?
His suspicions were confirmed when he looked through the window to see a man about his age with scruffy blonde hair, green eyes, a weirdly perfect smile, and great skin.
Who the fuck is this guy!? Hex found himself asking. His eyes formed into a glare as the man walked into Cruella's room, turning on the lamp.
Cruella groaned, rubbing her eyes, “Hex? Is that you?” once her vision became clearer she was disappointed to see the other man instead of Hex.
She was looking forward to snuggling with Hex until morning came but it seemed like that wouldn't happen, not tonight at least.
“Oh,” Cruella tried not to show the disappointment in her voice, “hi, Cristopher, when’d you get back?”
“Just this morning, I picked you up your favorite doughnuts.” He pulled out a pink box, opening it to reveal 6 powdered doughnuts.
Cruella cringed, “I hate powdered doughnuts.”
Cruella sighed, she didn't want to be rude and not accept the doughnuts. She bit into the doughnut and forced a smile, “delicious, babe.” she tried her hardest not to spit them out.
“Alright, I’m gonna take a shower and then we can sleep, I doubt you want me smelling like an airplane.” Christopher chuckled, walking to the bathroom.
Cruella waited till the door closed to spit out the doughnuts, “ugh, fucking idiot, you know I hate powdered doughnuts. Why couldn't you stay in Japan longer?”
“Who the hell is that?” Hex asked, opening the window and jumping it.
Cruella jumped up a bit, “jeez, Hex! You gave me a heart attack! What are you doing here?”
Hex chuckled, “I told you I’d be back,” he smiled when he saw she was still wearing his jacket, “who’s mister wrong doughnuts?”
“My boyfriend, Christopher.” Cruella sighed.
“You don't sound too happy about that.” Hex sat on the edge of the bed.
“I don't like him, well I did in the beginning, but now he’s just,” the word was on the tip of her tongue.
“Stupid.” her and Hex said at the same time.
They both laughed, “exactly,” she nodded, “but if I break up with him, it won't stand well with my boss.”
“Catania right?” Hex asked Cruella nodded.
“Christopher is Catania’s nephew if we broke up Catania would know and she’d fire me.” Cruella looked down at her feet.
“You can always find another job.” Hex reminded her.
“I know, but if I get fired by her, she’s black ball me, call other fashion companies and tell them I was a horrible employee.” Cruella fell back on the bed.
“So I’m stuck in this cult,” Cruella muttered from her pillow.
Hex laughed, “Hey, let’s forget about Catania and Christopher, I’m exhausted and so are you.” Hex laid down beside her, yawning.
“Hex, what are you doing?! Christopher’s gonna flip if he finds you here!” Cruella warned.
“I’ll leave before he gets out of the shower.” Hex whispered, snuggling closer to Cruella, burying his face in her white hair.
“You idiot, you’re gonna get caught.” Cruella chuckled.
“Meh,” Hex shrugged, “it would all be worth it if I got to spend tonight with you.”
