Helena threw Eloise against the wall, “how dare you escape?! You useless bitch!”
“I-I’m sorry!” Eloise cried, scooting back into the corner as Helena advanced on her, a whip in hand, “the-they only wan-wanted one da-day of peace with m-me!”
“Peace?!” Helena cackled, “Eloise, as long as your with me, peace isn't a luxury you’ll get!”
“Ple-Please! I-I-I ju-just wan-wanted a day in the sun!” Eloise sobbed into her knees. “What don't you get, Eloise?! Until you can pay me back for your parents debt, you’re mine! Got that?!” Helena growled, Eloise whimpered, nodding “alr-alright!”
“Good!” Helena clenched Eloise’s jaw, a cracking sound could be heard over Eloise’s crying, “if I catch you running off again I’ll crush you!”
“Y-Yes Mis-mistress!” Helena released the child’s jaw, dropping her to the floor, walking towards her room to her latest sexual partner, “now, where did we leave off?”
Eloise crept into the corner, pulling her jacket up onto her trembling body, she sobbed, “I wanna go back...back to the sledding...back to the happy times.”
Eloise felt the warmth of a soft blanket being wrapped around her. “She’s freezing,” a voice echoed, Eloise was too tired to open her eyes. “What’s with all the scrapes and bruises?” a different voice questioned.
“That doesn’t matter now,” Diane wrapped Eloise in her wings, “we need to get her out of here.”
Eloise felt a strange sense of calm flow over her, she smiled slightly. This is nice…
Enveloped in Diane’s snow white wings made her feel like she was flying, all her troubles were floating away. Eloise stirred in Diane’s arms, “no...Mist-Mistress...I-I’m sor-sorry!”
Diane stroked her hair, “it’s okay, my love, don't worry about Helena.” Diane lifted Eloise from her arms into her and Gabriella’s bed. “Did she whip her?” Hex whispered. “Yes,” Diane crouched down, healing Eloise.
“Gabriella,” Mama began noticing Gabriella’s anger. “I know, Mama, I’ll take her out.” Gabriella promised. Eloise blinked her eyes open, “where...where am I?”
“You’re back in our room.” Diane smiled. “Mi-Mistress will ki-kill me! An-and you!” Eloise warned, stammering as she did. “Don't worry, you’re under the protection of the Golden Ruby Dragons now,” Hex ruffled her hair, “nobody will dare touch you.”
Eloise sniffled, “wh-why are yo-you so nice t-to me?”
“Because,” Eponine sat beside her, “I’ve started to learn that this family falls into love easily in all different ways,” she rubbed her fingers over Matias’ hand, “it’s not a bad thing,” she smiled up at him, “it’s actually really beneficial.”
“Gabriella and Diane are both amazing women who I know will love and take care of you, and so will the Golden Ruby Dragons.” Eponine assured her.
Eloise hugged Diane and Gabriella tightly, “ple-please...please bea-beat her!”
“Of course we will,” Gabriella and Diane kissed Eloise’s cheeks, “Helena will be long gone.”

“Welcome to the fourth day of the DeVille cup! We are in for an exciting match today!” Keiko announced. Diane noticed Helena marching angrily towards her and Eloise, “oooh! You little bitch! When I’m done with you your wings will look like a plucked chicken!”
Eloise whimpered, Diane picked up Eloise, “stay away from us.”
Diane tried to walk off but Helena pulled on her wings, “what did I say about taking my slave? Hm? Or do I need to remind you?” Helena clutched one of her wings, her nails digging into them.
“Diane!” Eloise’s eyes coated in fear. “I’m okay! Just...find Gabriella.” Diane whispered. Eloise jumped down from Diane’s arm, searching for Gabriella.
Helena the Diane against the wall, “a little advice, that girl is a leech, she feeds off things and you giving her love and attention will be the worst decision you ever made.”
“She needs love and affection after what you do to her!” Diane shot back, “she’s 8 years old and your putting her through the pain adults face.”
“Why do you care about this rat anyways! Her parents were junkies anyways, they treated her worse than I did.” Helena scoffed. “That’s why she needs us! After what you and her parents did, right now she needs stability! Not abuse!” Diane defended.
“She’s fine with me!” Helena punched Diane in the stomach but Gabriella caught her fist, “you shouldn’t punch angels, or rip their wings,” Gabriella clenched Helena’s fist, “but apparently you haven’t learned that so I'm gonna have to teach you!”
Gabriella dragged Helena by the hair into the ring, throwing her in. “And it looks like we're off to a crazy start! Gabriella has brung Helena down to ring by her hair.” Keiko narrated.
“Let’s make a deal, Helena!” Gabriella released her hair, Helena fell to the ground, Gabriela standing over her, “if I win, you leave the Golden Dragons alone and put Eloise up for adoption.”
“I knew it...they don't like me…” Eloise whimpered, her tears beginning to form.
“...so me and Diane can adopt her.”
Eloise froze, “ad-adopt-adopt me?! You and Miss Dian-Diane would b-be my moms?!”
“Yep, and Helena won't hurt you anymore.” Diane assured her, walking into the Golden Ruby Dragon’s viewing box, her wings patched up.
Eloise eyes sparkled brightly, she leaned over the viewing box and shouted, “KICK HER ASS, MOM!”
Gabriella smirked, “you heard my daughter, I’mma kick your ass.”
“Let’s get this match started!” Keiko shouted as she blew her whistle.
“Suncleaver!” Gabriella yelled, a bright yelled battle axe appeared in her hands.
Suncleaver is a giant ornamental axe with a blade shaped like a crescent moon, similar to that of a Monk's spade.
The axe also features two golden protrusions, one larger than the other, with the white tips of a spear, the longer one is in the middle at the top of the axe and the smaller one is on the opposite of the blade of the axe.
The handle is dark blue and it features a golden semicircular guard with four golden spikes on it.
Its design specs and distribution of weight are (likely intentionally) off: most of the weight is concentrated in the head, leaving it off balance, and even more difficult to wield than its impressive weight would already make it.
“Amazing! Gabriella has summoned the world famous Suncleaver!”
“Gabriella is what some call a Sun Blessed child, the adoption papers said she had a strong connection with the sun and the Suncleaver.” Emma smiled widely, “I’ve only seen her pull out the Sunclever once, and that was when Hex was getting picked on in high school.”
Gabriella strikes Helena with the Sunclever, which Helena blocked with her own weapon. “You may be blessed by the sun, but your Sunclever is no match for my Nightmare Wielder!”
Nightmare Wielder is a curved shortsword with a dragon tattoo emblem into its hilt and five holes along the middle of the sharp blade, and 5 half-moon holes along the other side of the blade. The blade is split into two different colors, the sharp part is silver and the opposite is a dark green moss.
Gabriella struck her again several times, only to have Helena jump and kick her in the face with her knee. Helena attempted to slash her neck, but Gabriella blocked it with her weapon. Helena applied pressure to the Nightmare Wielder by spinning constantly, pushing Gabriella back against the arena’s wall.
Gabriella then charged for Helena, but Helena stabbed her in her stomach. Gabriella then grabbed Helena’s head, only to be greeted by a splurge of dark power from Helena’s sword.
After tumbling unconsciously for a moment, Gabriella got up cracking her neck, “now I’m mad!” she growled, the sun shining down on her to heal the damage she just took. Helena, who is surprised by Gabriella quick healing, didn't notice when Gabriella called over Suncleaver.
“Sun Slash!” Gabriella yelled, doing a downward slash that was felt throughout the arena. However, it had no effect on Helena who delivered a single punch right to Gabriella’s chest, making her fall down on her knees.
Helena put her foot on Gabriella’s head, “you Golden Dragons are all weaklings!” Helena taunted, “I beat you couldn't hurt a fly!”
Gabriella spung up and attacked Helena several times with her axe, all of which Helena deflected. As Helena eventually stopped the axe with her hand, Gabriella shouts out, “Blazing Sun!” but Helena seemed to reflect it all back using her Nightmare Wielder.
Gabriella managed to dodge the reflected attack, which then exploded inside the arena ring. As Gabriella searched around for Helena in the middle of the dust and fire, Midnight Wielder came flying right at her.
Gabriella blocked it with Suncleaver at the same time Helena hit Gabriella’s hand with her kneecap, causing Gabriella to drop the axe. Helena took this chance to slice open Gabriella’s stomach, but was stopped due to blade lodging into Gabriella’s flesh.
“Cute, but I’ve been stabbed worse.” Gabriella took Midnight Wielder and casually threw it away, then delivered a punch to Helena’s face. Helana then returns the blow to Gabriella’s face, making her bounce around the arena and fall unconscious yet again.
“Gott give your props,” Helena whipped the blood from her mouth, “you are one impressive human.”
Gabriella began laughing, “a human? Is that what you called me?”
Emma’s eyes widened, “oh no…”
“Did you just call me a human?” a bright yellow energy began surrounding Gabriella, her eyes glowing yellow, “cause I know you did not just call the great god Apollo a human!”
Helena shook her in her boots but brushed it off, “so what if I did!” She powered up striking Gabriella hundreds of times with Midnight Wielder, but Gabriella/Apollo was unscathed.
Unfazed by this, Helena then turned and charged for Gabriella once again. “Sun God Slash!” Gabriella/Apollo yelled, giving Helena a large gash across her chest with just her bare hands, almost splitting her in half.
Although greatly damaged, Helena stood up, “you...monster…!” Helena screeched, Gabriella sighed and walked towards Helena, flicking her in the forehead with her index finger, knocking her unconscious.
Gabriella stood over her and smiled, “I”m not a monster, I’m a Sun Goddess.”
