№11|Party Time (Part 1)
●══════⋆☆⋆══════●

It’s been 3 weeks since Emmanuel’s meeting with Marmalade, Emmanuel stayed in the base, trying to figure out what Marmalade meant by ‘fas-’. While Emmanuel was trying to find his love, Shawn and Dizzy were just finding theirs.

“Shawn! Gods and goddesses! I-I-I- ah~!” Dizzy was pinned against the bathroom wall as Shawn kissed along her neck. “Mine…” he growled, sucking on her pulse point.

“Yeah, sure, still have no idea what you mean.” Dizzy was too hazed in pleasure to try and figure around the meaning behind the words, “I’ll be yours forever if you keep doing what your doing to my neck~”

Shawn, not wanting to disappoint the woman who would most likely become his mate in less than 2 weeks, gladly obliged by her commands.

Dizzy clutched the back of his shirt, “right there! Ah, Shawn, oh my!”

He couldn't get enough of the sounds that rolled off her lips. 2 more weeks, my Dizzy, just 2 more weeks and you’ll really be all mine.

A sudden knock on the door interrupted the session, prompting Shawn to growl low. “Shh!” Dizzy put a finger over his lips. “Who is it?” she asked politely. “It’s me, Summer, your brother says you’ll be late for the party if you don't get out of the bathroom.” Summer called out from the other side of the door.

“That means both of you come out now.” Summer rolled her eyes and Dizzy and Shawn opened the door. “If you must make out with her, please keep them to a minimal volume or silent.” She requested, turning on her heels as she walked to the car.

“They’re here sir.” Summer hopped in the front seat, Emmanuel looked at the two in the back seat, they weren’t looking at each other but were secretly holding hands under the coats that sat between them.

“We shouldn’t have to do this…” Dizzy said telepathically to him. “I know, Dizzy, but we must do this. Just until we find Marmalade.” Shawn sighed slightly. “Then can we tell Big Brother about us?”  Dizzy asked hopefully.

“Yeah, then we can tell him. It’s just, ya know, I don't wanna get shot…” Shawn sweatdropped. Dizzy giggled a little too loudly, causing Emmanuel to notice. He didn’t say anything on the subject and just kept driving, but he knew something was off about the two.

“Mister Emmanuel,” Summer began, Emmanuel made a ‘hm?’ sound with his lips, allowing her to continue, “how was Miss Marmalade?”

Emmanuel stepped on the brakes hard, causing everyone to jerk forward, “h-huh?!”

Summer giggled, she looked back to see Shawn and Dizzy were still in their mental conversation, too busy to pay attention to Emmanuel and Summer.

“Sir, along with the power of telekinesis, I can read minds as well.” Summer smiled, looking at the road “you met with Marmalade yesterday, that’s why you’re so happy today.”

“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Emmanuel said, trying to contain the smile but it snuck through. Summer laughed, “don't deny it, you loved your time with Miss Marmalade.”

“I love it, but it was 3 hours out here, but in that world...it was eternity that I never wanted to end.”

“She didn’t want it to either.” Summer said, Emmanuel looked at her suspiciously, “I-I’m ass-assuming, sir!”

Emmanuel ruffled her hair, “Emmanuel.”

“What?”

“Call me Emmanuel, you’ve been with this gang for 2 years now, it’s about time you stop calling me Sir or Mister Emmanuel.” He smiled at her, “you’re like a little sister to me, just like Dizzy is.”

Summer smiled back, “thank you si -- I mean Emmanuel.”

“Do you have anyone special, Summer?”

“Oh me?” Summer looked down, “don't think you’d like to meet him...believe me.”

“Hex, stop looking at the door and have fun! Here,” Gabriella passed him a shot of tequila, “have a drink.”

“Not now, Gabby.” Hex pushed away the shot glass. Ector turned his face towards him, “she’s gonna show, don't worry.”

Hex looked down in sorrow, “doubt it…” Hex drummed his fingers on the bar steep.

Cruella looked in the mirror, “does this dress make me look good?” She wore a simple black dress with black heels.

“Yes…?” Christopher replied unsurely. Cruella smiled, “good.”

“Why are you getting dressed up for this gala anyways?”

“It’s a birthday party for Diane,” Cruella corrected, it really wasn’t, it was a party to celebrate the joining of the Golden Dragons and the Ruby Rebels and she wanted to see Hex again.

To show she was committed to Christopher, when she really wasn’t, she had to stop talking to Hex’s family.

At least, that’s what Christopher thought was happening.

When in reality, it wasn’t because Hex and Cruella still text everyday. But to Cruella and Hex, text wasn’t enough; they had to hear each other and see each other.

“Do you want me to drive you?” Christopher sat up from the bed. “No!” Cruella said too eagerly. “I’ll take an uber or lyft, just stay here hun,” Cruella kissed his cheek, “don't worry, I’ll be back later tonight.”

Cruella gagged inwardly, “he tastes disgusting!”

“Alright,” Christopher stole a quick kiss, “don't have too much fun without me.”

“It’s always fun without you.” She smiled, grabbing her jacket Hex gave her and walking out of the apartment. She waited downstairs for the uber but was met but Gabriella’s motorcycle.

“Your prince is waiting for you,” Gabriella said, Cruella laughed and walked towards the bike. Gabriella stopped her. “This,” Gabriella looked her up and down, “won't do.”

“Why?”

“You’re to...how do I put this...drab.” Gabriella laughed. “I didn’t want to show off a lot.” Cruella shrugged. Gabriella and Cruella drove through the streets. “Honey,” Gabriella stopped at the back of the base, “come on, we’re getting out of these church clothes and into something hot!”

Gabriella pulled her up to Mama’s apartment, calling up Diane and Saree. Saree laughed, “oh honey...why?”

“What do you mean why?” Cruella tilted her head. “Don't play that innocent shit with me,” Diane rolled her eyes, “that’s my role.”

Gabriella opened the closet, “closet,” Gabriella announced.

“Welcome, Gabriella and friends.”

Cruella was shocked, “why does Mama have a talking closet?”

“Cause she wanted one.” Diane chuckled, pushing Cruella in front of the closet, “closet, pick out something hot for Cruella here.”

“Yes, Miss Diane.”

A swarm of clothes surrounded Cruella, soon vanishing leaving Cruella in a beautiful red with black and white polka dots on the inside long sleeve, front twist maxi dress, deep V cut in the front with a side slit.

“Now that’s more like it, chica!” Saree cheered. “Let’s get you downstairs, my brother will die when he sees you!” Gabriella smiled widely was she walked downstairs.

“Stop sulking Hex, it’s a party, dance!” Emmanuel egged on. “What's the point, the only person I wanted to dance with isn't here.” Hex sighed.

The wolf whistles and catcalls made Hex turn towards the door to see Cruella in all her beauty. He pulled down Emmanuel, “Emmanuel,” Hex was practically speechless, “tell me I’m not the only one seeing her.”

“No your not! Now please let go of my collar and talk to her before one of my members of your members has a chance!” Emmanuel gasped for air once Hex let him go. Ector, Emmanuel, Alonzo, and Matias had to practically push Hex towards Cruella who sat at the bar, sipping a martini casually.

“Hi, Hex,” Cruella said, her voice coming out smooth like velvet, “great party you have here, about time you and Emmanuel joined forces.”

“Uh huh...yeah, I uh...you look...uh...what’s the word?” Hex felt his mind going blank. Cruella chuckled softly, “Beautiful?”

“Yes! You look really beautiful.” Hex sat beside her, cocking head to the side slightly, telling the others to leave. “I really missed you, Hex.” Cruella softly smiled.

“You have no idea how much I missed you, Marshmallow.” Hex held her hand, rubbing his fingers along hers “I'm sorry my family talked you into doing the recon.”

“Don't be, I like going undercover, it’s sexy in a way,” her leg rubbed up against Hex’s, “ya know?”

“Ye-Yeah! I totally know what you mean,” Hex bit his lip slightly, it was taking all his strength to make sure he didn’t give into his cravings and do her over the bar steep, no, she deserved something more special.

She deserved the world!

Back upstairs, Clair sat in the breakroom, looking at the evidence when someone knocked on the door. She looked up to see Alonzo with a bottle of tequila, “stop the cop work and join the party, you can take a break for one night.”

Clair shook her head, “I gotta keep working, you have fun, I bet there’s so blonde or brunette you can stick your tongue down.” Clair chuckled.

Alonzo sighed, “1) I don't want some blonde bimbo or brunette, and 2) I can't leave you alone here.” he sat beside her, playing footsie under the table.

Clair chuckled, “stop it, I gotta focus.”

“Sometimes,” Alonzo moved the papers, “you gotta unfocus,” he poured tequila into two shot glass, “to focus again.”

“We’re gonna play a game called Know You Better, we play it with newcomers here. Kinda like an icebreaker and a drinking game rolled into one.”

“I’ll tell you one thing about me, if it’s true, I’ll take a shot. Same for you.” Alonzo explained. “Are you trying to get me drunk?” Clair laughed. “No…” Alonzo cooed “come on, just go along with it.”

“Fine, I’ll go first, I have a younger brother.” Clair took a shot, “his name’s Oswald, 20, small fry. Just started up his 2nd year in college.”

“What’s he studying?”

“Biochemistry. Your turn.” Clair said. “Alright, I have a little sister,” Alonzo took a shot, “her name’s Lily, she runs the pack down in Brooklyn, that’s our family's pack.”

“So your a werewolf? Or an animalist like Cruella?”

“Werewolf,” he took another shot, “I wish I could shape shift into other animals, but I like Anzus.”

“Anzus?”

“My inner wolf,” Alonzo got up from his chair, he closed his eyes, morphing into a black wolf, “it’s one of the perks to being able to use Anzus powers.”

Clair scratched behind his ear, Alonzo purred, “how the hell do you know I like that?”

“By brother’s girlfriend’s a werewolf as well, he says her sweet spot is under her chin, so I guessed yours was behind your ear.” Clair guessed. Alonzo leaned into his touch, rubbing his face against her hand.

“Any-Anyways! Back to the game!” Clair blushed. Alonzo morphed back and sat back down. “What was your last relationship like?” Alonzo asked, shocking Clair to say the least.

Clair stood quiet, “good.”

“You’re lying.”

“Am not!”

“You didn’t drink, which means your lying.” Alonzo pointed out. Clair hissed, cursing herself for her own mistake, “It wasn’t good, back then, I was really weak. I didn’t stand up for myself, people walked all over me, it got to the point where my ex, Jimon, started just treating me like I was his servant.”

“For the longest, I didn’t say anything, thinking it would be a bother to anyone who was there to listen. But I found someone who would listen, a therapist, she taught me how to be more assertive for myself and I ended up breaking up with Jimon and started my police training.”

Clair smiled, tears brimming, “I got out of that hole, that’s why I said it was good, not for him, but for the new me.”

Alonzo hugged her, pulling her in closed, their foreheads touching, “I love the new you, and so does my wolf.”

“Is that a good thing?” Clair blushed. Alonzo softly kissed her lips, tasting her apple cinnamon taste, “with you,” he kissed her again, “it’s always a good thing.”
