"Luke?"
A voice rung through the devil's home office.
It's been actually about a week since Luke and Ryan had hit everything off. Everything had been so well, what could go wrong now?
"Yea--"
The devil's voice had been cut off by a very loud ringtone that'd be coming from his own cellphone. Ryan giggled a little, as the older rolled his eyes and answered it slyly.
Seconds passed, everything had been described by Luke's facial expression, and Ryan could read it all. "The sales are going down at an alarming rate? You've gotta be shitting me, I thought that interview fixed my reputation."
"Apparently, it only lead to the culprit spewing out more rumors, I guess it wasn't a good idea!" Ava screamed at the other end of the phone, Ryan could hear it as she was extremely panicked at this point. "What do we do then?" Luke started and stood up, as he walked at the other end of the room, away from Ryan.
While the other dealt with what he was given, the bunny felt bummed out now. Was this his fault? He'd distract his own boss from everything that eventually something would fall down on him again. Oh no, the weakness is coming back, I see.
These past couple o' days, Luke was able to experience what Ryan was really like as a person who'd probably cleared all of their sins off of their backs.
It was like, a child who were able to play outside again whenever they were shut out from the real world by their parents. Ryan was almost like that,
Except he was the one doing it to himself.
"Ryan, Ryan!" Luke shook the other, getting him back to reality. Ryan looked back at his 'lover' with a lost yet pitiful stare, Ryan didn't feel good looking at him anymore. "What's up?" Luke smiled, trying to cheer him up. "Everything's. . . Okay." Ryan simply said as he softly smiled.
The devil straight-away could tell; He was back to his old and timid self. Something must be wrong by then.
"You know, you can tell me anything,--"
"I'm quite fine, Cartoonz. Haha." Ryan slapped the other's hand that attempted to cup the bunny's face. "I think you should get on with what they told you on the phone." The bunny added, looking down. "If you say so. . . I hope you're feeling alright."
Feeling alright.
Hahah. Feeling alright? That's pretty overused.
As time passed, Ryan decided to leave the house without saying anything. He didn't even bother. At the current time, he's slowly walking back home. His house isn't too far, right? Even though we say that, Ryan feels as if he's walked for 5 hours now. Why does it feel like an eternity?
It's a sad thing.
The next day has begun. . .
6:34 AM.
Ryan doesn't feel as secure anymore.
What happened? It was a small thing, it's just a bunch of rumors. What's up with him being so goddamn sulky? Why are you crying? Why are tears streaming down your fucking face, Ryan?!
. . .
I was never even sure of this relationship in the first place.
It will all come crashing down once I fuck this up with how I feel with everything.
. . .
Ryan was on his knees, wanting to rip his hair out.
It's such a small fucking thing! Why am I crying over this?!
He continued to cry, wailing as loud as he can, as hard as his throat can handle.
Roughly about 30 minutes has passed now. Ryan lied down on the bed, face all swollen. His throat and eyes ached for life as he just stared at the ceiling, completely forgetting that he had work on that day.
Wow, that was a breakdown.
He thought, as he shifted over onto his side. "I feel kinda better." His extremely faint voice spoke, as the bunny took a deep breath and sat up. "Oh shit. . . I forgot about my job." Ryan realized, as he facepalmed and laughed at himself.
Eventually he stopped laughing 'cause, it didn't sound nor feel too pleasant.
"I should take a leave today." He talked to himself, as he murmured and fell back down on his bed. "How tiring. . ."
Though., . . Was that just a breakdown. . .?
