ᑕᕼᗩᑭTEᖇ TᗯEᑎTY OᑎE

I was standing in the corner of a large, dark living room.

In front of me was a couch where was sitting a bronze-skinned man with long, navy hair and a pierced face.

His body language was tense and he was looking in front of himself, talking to somebody.

I glanced at the left side of the room where was a tall, black-haired guy with emerald eyes and plump lips.

His arms were crossed on his chest and he eventually looked into my eyes, with a facial expression I couldn't understand.

"Are you okay?" he asked, rushing towards me.

He wrapped his arms around my body, resting his chin on top of my head. He seemed genuinely worried like I was a fragile piece of glass that could shatter into million pieces at any point.

"You are shaking," he pointed out, rubbing my shoulders in comfort.

"This is too much for me. He is lying!" I heard myself yelling, pushing the boy away out of anger.

"I am not lying, you don't have parents because you were born out of the fire. You will always be an orphan," the guy on the couch said, an evil smirk appearing on his metal face.

"Shut the fuck up, mate! You said more than enough," the guy with emerald eyes warned, glaring at him.

I felt tears running down my face and fire burning inside of my stomach when a strong grip embraced my right shoulder.

I turned my head towards it to find a Phoenix, my guardian.

Why was he here?

"Alya, calm down," he warned me, but all I could think of was words that slipped out of the guy's mouth.

My emotions were stronger than me, I couldn't control myself.

"I... can't!" I heard myself yell through clenched teeth. My fists curled into balls and my nails were tearing apart my skin.

The boy with green eyes and guy with a metal face stumbled back, looking at me with pure shock.

"Baby, breathe," the boy said softly, but his words were distant.

I felt really hot and angry like I could explode any minute, but it was too late for me to do anything. The fire was already forming around me.

My gaze escaped to the boy's eyes, searching for his support. 'Help me,' I thought because I knew too well I couldn't speak.

My mouth was opened and I realized I was screaming in pain.

The boy closed his emerald eyes, the only thing that kept me sane. Soon afterward he looked at me and with that, snow started falling.

Inside of the room.

Actual snow.

'Thank you,' I thought and he nodded as if he had heard me.

My body relaxed and I felt the fire calming down, going back deep into my stomach.

The snow was still falling and I couldn't get it inside of my head.

How is this possible?

When I felt like I calmed down, the boy was already by my side, hugging me as he will never see me again. Like he was terrified of losing me.

"You're okay, little rebel," he whispered into my ear. "I will always be here."

His words echoed through my mind, not being able to understand them.

What was wrong with me?

I slowly opened my eyes, confused with my surroundings. The light that entered the room from the window above me made my head explode.

"Fucking hell, I thought you were dead."

I sat straight in the bed I slept in, looking at the boy in front of me with eyes wide opened. He had platinum blonde hair, slightly falling on his forehead, and chocolate eyes, which were studying me with a smirk.

He was sitting at the end of the bed with crossed arms.

I looked around an empty, white room, almost instantly noticing Draven sleeping in a chair, his head bending in an unnatural position. The bedroom didn't look anything like the ones we had in Foster Care, so that made me wonder, where are we?

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Who are you?" I asked the guy, trying to remember what brought me here.

I don't remember anything except coming down on Earth and saving Draven from killing himself.

What happened after that?

"Your new attraction," he smirked, winking at me.

I threw a pillow at him, which he proudly caught. "I'm Yama, a demon," he said with a voice that you use to scare little children. That caused me to smile.

"What were you doing here while I was sleeping?" I asked, raising my eyebrows in question.

"I'm not here to kill you, I swear," he joked, raising his hands. "I just like admiring pretty girl who-"

"Yama, get the fuck away from my girl," Draven's husky voice echoed through the room as he stood up from the chair and in a matter of seconds, he was beside me.

"I was just keeping an eye on her," he smirked, looking at me.

Draven pulled me closer, hugging my shoulders while piercing a hole through Yama.

"If you do that one more time, you'll lose an eye," Draven threatened, his voice low and scary. I have never seen him like this. "Get the hell away from her."

For some unknown reason, Yama listened to Draven, practically sprinting out of the room. He didn't seem like a guy that would listen to others, but I ignored that, trying to focus on the fact that I saved Draven's life.

As soon as he was out of our sight, Draven snuggled beside me and looked into my eyes while resting his head on the pillow.

There was a moment of silence between us until he spoke.

"I was so scared I lost you," he said with a glimpse of sadness reflecting in his eyes. My heart was breaking for him - I can't even begin to imagine what he had to go through.

"How long was I gone?" I asked carefully.

"Two weeks."

I closed my eyes, a whimper escaping from my lips. I didn't even realize I was crying until he gently wiped off a tear from my cheek.

"I'm so sorry," I simply said, my voice trembling.

He cupped my chin, giving me a sign to look into his eyes, which I eventually did.

"Baby, you have nothing to be sorry for. It wasn't your fault," he said, planting a kiss on my lips.

I missed him, I missed his touch.

Before Sawyer kidnapped me, I didn't even realize how I became attached to Draven. He was the one who saved me, who brought joy into my life, although in a weird, special way.

But, that is why I love him. And I don't know what would happen to me if he killed himself.

I wouldn't have any reason to live. It's crazy how you can develop feelings for someone in such a short time. We have known each other for a month, but I can't picture my life without him.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" he asked me, obviously worried.

I must've spaced out for a long time.

"Just how much I love you," I said, before I grabbed his face and kissed him like we're never going to see each other again. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. He was holding me with one hand while he moved loose strands of hairs from my face with the other, trailing kisses from my jaw to neck and collarbone.

"Draven, I-" Omega walked into the room, but stopped as soon as he saw us, a smirk appearing on his face. Draven groaned in annoyance and pressed his forehead against mine, before he turned around to face him.

Although I couldn't see his facial expression, I could assume he's either spitting fire or trying not to do that.

Either way, he is very angry.

I grinned at Omega, who couldn't contain a laugh himself.

"What the fuck do you want?" Draven slowly asked, gritting his teeth.

"We need to talk... about something," he carefully said while also looking like he's about to explode from laughter.

"So? Talk," Draven demanded.

This was actually very amusing for me. Although I wanted to keep going as much as Draven did, he was so pissed at Omega that it was funny.

"We need you there," he said, looking at me then back at Draven.

Ah, I got it. It was about something I couldn't know.

"Alya is going with me, I'm never leaving her side again," he said and took my hand into his, helping me get up from the bed. Omega looked like he had something to say about this, but he knew Draven too well to even try.

We walked past Omega and I shot him a sympathetic smile. "You did this to yourself," I teased him.

"Okay, what the fuck is going on?" Draven demanded when we entered a huge room with a round table in the middle of it, still holding my hand. I felt blood rushing to my cheeks as four demons curiously analyzed me.

Omega followed us and stood on the left side from me, like they were protecting me.

"Okay, you came to Earth with a mission to find the Sybil and bring her to Hell in order to rule as Devil, yeah?" Omega asked, looking at him. Draven nodded, giving me a strong grip.

I got closer to Draven, hugging his arm like a child hugs their parents' legs. Everybody was still staring at me and it made me feel insecure.

Did they think I'm not good enough? That I shouldn't go to Hell? Maybe they just don't like me.

"Well, you have to do one more thing before we go home," Omega said carefully, knowing that it will make Draven explode.

There is one thing I know about him for sure, and it's that he hates doing things for his parents.

"What?" he asked through clenched teeth. Omega coughed and scratched the back of his neck.

"You have to find one demon who escaped from Hell."

"Why the fuck did you let it happen, eh?!" Draven snapped, his body stiffening next to mine. I hugged his arm, rubbing it.

"Babe, calm down," I said, cupping his chin. I focused on his eyes until his breathing assimilated. "We will do this together, okay?"

He nodded, turning away from me to face Omega. "Which demon?"

"Zephyr," was all he said. Draven instantly grabbed Omega's neck, lifting him against a wall.

"Are you fucking insane?! He is the only one who would help us with Alya and you let him fucking escape?!"

Suddenly, Draven fell to the ground as his knee bent in an unnatural position. He screamed in agony as Omega rubbed his throat, giving a warning look to the girl with long, black hair. I rushed to Draven, wrapping my arms around him.

He laid on the floor, hugging the knee out of which was sticking a broken bone. My eyes filled with tears as I felt the need to do something.

"Stop," I whimpered as he continued to roll around in pain. "STOP IT!" I yelled, not being able to see him hurting. He doesn't deserve this.

Everything happened so fast - the demons fell to the ground and the whole house started shaking as Draven's eyes looked at me in shock.

His knee was normal again.

And I just caused an earthquake.
