"Draven, you know the rules," Mrs. E said as she escorted me to my room. "You're not allowed to sleep with girls."
I scoffed at her statement. "Mrs. E, if something actually happened, she would have begged me to stay."
"Either way, this is not allowed. If we hear about this happening one more time, you two will have to face consequences of breaking the rules," she warned me as we entered my room.
I couldn't forget Alya, it was almost as if she was glued to my brain.
Her lips, her touch, her eyes.
Oh, and don't get me started on her body.
"I swear, you teenagers are full of hormones," Mrs. E mumbled as she exited my room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Wait, did I say that last part out loud?
Well, either way, she's not wrong about that one.
"That little rebel," I whispered with a smile when I realized my hoodie was still on Alya and I was shirtless.
The hoodie I gave her was a present from my dad and it meant a lot to me, but she can have it.
That way, she doesn't have to sexually imagine me there, when she actually has a part of me and by her actions earlier, there will be a lot of that in the future.
Also, it looked better on her than it did on me. I quickly put on a shirt and slicked my hair back when I heard a knock on the door.
"What?" I asked, annoyed, and not ready for a company.
Can't anyone just leave me alone for some time? I need to do so many things...
Then, Sawyer stepped in and closed the door behind him. Out of all people in the world, exactly he had to annoy me after such a beautiful night. I would rather be dead than talk to this piece of shit.
"What the fuck are you doing here, dipshit?" I asked him with a disgusting smug on my face.
He raised his hands in surrender. "I just want to talk," he said and came closer to me.
"Talk to your shrink. I'm not in the mood, mate," I brushed him off, waiting for him to leave so I can be left alone.
"I was the one who saw Alya first. She's mine," he lost his patience, throwing daggers at me with his eyes.
I had to bite back a laugh because he just looked so disgusting and I couldn't take him seriously.
"Look, mate," I said with a smile, tapping his shoulder. "Love... it's like a fart. If you have to force it, it's probably shit."
He yanked my hand away from him and looked at me with pure rage. Oh, I'm sorry, did I hit a nerve? Is Alya his weak spot?
Well, that just made me laugh as well as his pure appearance. He looked weak and pathetic, nothing Alya should waste her time on.
"What is so funny? You're an egoistic jerk and you don't deserve her!" he stepped closer, shoving me into a wall.
"Saw, mate, shit happens," I said calmly and shrugged, knowing it would piss him off. "I mean, look at your face."
He ran me into me and pinned me against a wall, threatening to punch me in my beautiful face. "Listen to me, you shitface," he said through clenched teeth.
I smiled and nodded, blowing him a kiss. "Okay, tough guy. I'm all ears."
His eyes started twitching and I saw annoyance on his face rising off the charts. I am killing his game and I could easily see that he hated my guts.
Heh, mission accomplished.
"You will leave Alya and me alone," he spat out, glaring into my eyes.
No, he literally spat.
I have Sawyer's spit on my face and I am utterly disgusted.
"How about this?" I said, pushing him away. "Fuck you," this time, I spat into his face.
Well, that pissed him off.
He swung his fist towards me, but I moved in the opposite direction, so he basically missed and turned out to be a pussy.
That moron can't even punch properly.
He grabbed the collar of my shirt so I'd feel threatened and that he could prove himself. Oh, I'm shitting my pants from fear.
I was pretty sure he could see the entertainment on my face which, without a doubt, pissed him off.
"You are a dead man," he spat again, before storming out of the room and shutting the door behind him.
I wiped off my face and leaned against the wall with a wide smile on my face. "Bye, girly, see you at the mall!" I yelled after him, raising my voice in falsetto.
No way he's going to mess with Alya's head and make her choose between the two of us. She has a lot going on already and she doesn't need his needy ass in her life.
But what can I do? I can't leave this room or visit her and he can. He'll probably try something with her and I won't be able to do anything to stop it.
I'll fucking murder him if he does anything to her.
Then I remembered something that will help. I'm surprised I haven't thought of it before.
I closed my eyes, distancing myself from the world and only two things were on my mind.
My mum and dad.
I used all of the power I had inside of me to bring them here, so I can see them one last time. It's harder summoning people if they recently died and if you don't have your bracelet, but I had to do it.
I had to talk to them and ask them for advice.
Come here, I miss you, I called them.
I opened my eyes when I heard them appear in front of me.
They were standing in my room and were holding hands, both of them smiling from ear to ear. Although I knew they weren't real or alive, I was overjoyed to see them.
"I missed you guys so much," I said, trying to prevent myself from crying.
C'mon, big guy, you've got this. I just need their advice.
"We have been watching you, son," my mum said, her bright smile shining on me and bringing me all the happiness in the world.
The fact that I have never seen her sad or angry was how I knew she is the most supporting and caring person ever. She was always happy and had the patience for my shit, unlike my real parents.
"You wanted to ask us something," dad said, looking at me as if he was proud of me, which isn't something I got to experience often. People could never be proud of me, not even if I cured cancer. It was something almost impossible to do and I got used to it.
I looked away and scratched the back of my neck. "It's about a girl," I said, trying to get myself to confess to them. "I think I like her."
Although I've said it to her before, it was nothing serious. I was either joking or using it to point out the fact that I've ever met anyone like her before.
I heard them laughing, so I looked up to their bright faces. They seemed proud and happy, which made it a lot harder for me to let them go forever.
"Son, if you think she is the one, don't be scared to go after her. Do whatever it takes to get her and make her happy," dad said, flashing me a reassuring smile.
"And tell her how you feel. She has a lot of insecurities and she could use someone to tell her she is worth it," mum added.
"So, what do I do?" I finally asked, collecting everything they have told me.
Mum giggled. "Win her over. That other kid has no chance against our Draven."
I smiled and nodded, feeling my heartwarming, but at the same time, I felt great pain and sadness. "Thank you for everything you have done for me and I'm sorry for what happened the other night."
Mum got close to me and put her hand on my cheek. I couldn't feel her warm touch, but the gesture meant everything I could've needed.
"You're just a kid. You have nothing to be sorry about," she whispered as a single tear rolled down her cheek.
I closed my eyes, not being able to look at her crying, as tears streamed down my face. I whispered 'thank you' and let them rest in peace. They deserve it after what they have been through.
I couldn't stop myself from crying like a baby. I fell on the floor and buried my face into my hands.
Why can't I do anything right?
I completely ruined their lives and caused an early death when they didn't even ask for any of it. They adopted me and let me live with them, not knowing they have been raising the Devil in their house.
Bloody hell, I shouldn't be feeling like this. I'm the fucking Devil and nobody tells me what to do, especially not some numpties at Foster Home. I will get Alya and make her happy, just as my parents wanted me to.
I wiped off the tears and got up from the floor. By my clock, it was 2 a.m.
Wow, I forgot how time goes fast when you talk to spirits.
I dressed in some warm clothes and took my room key, leaving everything else behind me.
Alya is mine. Not Sawyer's or anyone else's.
He is the one who doesn't deserve her, not me. If he really cared about her, her happiness should be a priority, not his own.
I sneaked into her room and carefully closed the door behind me, not wanting to cause any noise.
I looked around the dark room to notice she was already asleep. I walked to her bed and looked at her for a while, admiring her beauty.
"Hey, little rebel," I whispered, lightly stroking her cheek. She fluttered her eyes open, looking at me with curiosity and confusion. Maybe a little bit of anger, too. "It's adventure time."
