ᑕᕼᗩᑭTEᖇ ᑎIᑎETEEᑎ

I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by a beautiful forest with high, dark trees.

The sun was about to drown behind the horizon and the moon was already visible on the clear, purple sky.

Although I was standing in that forest, I knew I wasn't there for real.

My spirit was there.

I looked around to find six people scattered a few meters away from me.

They were shouting and arguing about something very important.

Their group consisted of three girls and three guys.

Everybody seemed so distant, I couldn't recognize them.

Suddenly, the tall guy with dark hair and green eyes separated from the rest with visible tears in his eyes.

He fell to the ground, yelling in pure agony.

A name escaped from his lips, so familiar and yet, unknown to me.

My eyes shot wide open as the sudden fire spread from inside of him, creating a perfect circle.

It was strange because trees weren't burning from the caused fire.

It just formed a circle around him, like it was a prop.

Others yelled at him, but he just screamed from pain and sadness, not letting anyone get close to him.

"I can't take it anymore!" he yelled into the sky, his voice unstable and hoarse.

His soul was burning, something that wasn't very common.

"Don't do it! We will find and punish him!" the other guy said, trying to convince him.

Convince him to do what?

Or better, convince him from doing what?

The guy tried to use his powers to stop him, just as everyone else did.

But the boy in the fire was stronger.

"I can't and won't live without her!" he replied, pulling out a black knife dagger.

People continued yelling, but the poor boy.

He killed himself, not thinking twice about it.

"Shouldn't she be awake by now?"

"I told you we shouldn't have sent Sawyer to Earth! He always fucks it up!"

"Don't curse!"

"Is she hurt?"

I slowly opened my eyes, trying to realize what the fuck is happening right now.

I was laying on my stomach facing the ground, which was incredibly soft and fluffy, like cotton candy.

It flew around me like some type of fog, tickling my skin.

Distanced voices chanted beautiful melody, the kind I couldn't get enough of.

Around me were three figures, which faces I couldn't see because the stroking light was so bright.

What the fuck is that light?

They stood in a circle, arguing about Sawyer.

After I adjusted my sight, I gasped in shock.

"Holy shit!" I said as I got up from the ground.

Or a cloud.

Whatever the fuck it was.

"You shouldn't curse in here, you know that?" a tall woman with red hair and brown eyes asked me.

I couldn't tear my eyes off big, silver wings that moved behind them as waves do in the sea.

The other two agreed with her, nodding their heads.

I'm talking to angels.

These three creatures are the most mesmerizing things I have ever seen.

Their facial features and body structure were the definition of perfection, something I never saw on Earth.

"Fuck, I'm in Heaven, aren't I?" I asked, trying to process it.

"Yeah, but don't curse, or you will wake Him up!" a short, blonde angel said, flashing me a smile.

Literally flashing.

They are glowing like a beacon in the middle of the ocean.

"Him? Who are you talking about, a puppy?" I scoffed.

They gasped in shock and the third one, with brown hair and tired, brown eyes, grabbed my shoulders and looked me dead in the eye.

"God! We are talking about God!" she whispered under breath, looking at me in terror.

"Oh, fuc- I mean shi-"

"Alya!" all three of them warned me in sync.

I covered my mouth with hands and flashed them an apologetic smile.

Why are they terrified of God?

Isn't he supposed to be, like, a nice man with a white beard?

Like Santa Claus.

"But why are you scared of Him?" I asked straight forward.

"He will punish us if we don't behave ourselves! You shouldn't put yourself in that position!" the redhead warned me and the others nodded.

I snapped my eyes from them and stared at the huge building in front of us.

It was massive - like you put fifteen skyscrapers together - and it seemed like it has no end.

It was made of a sleek, silver facade with millions of crystal windows and huge, silver doors.

Everything around it was white and glowing like a magic fog came down on us. I couldn't see anything else except for the building.

Suddenly, the doors flew open and I almost puked in disgust.

"Who the fuck do you think you are to bring me to Heaven by force?!" I yelled in anger, stomping towards Sawyer, who was slowly approaching me, not touched by my attitude.

He had enormous, black wings, which didn't go with his innocent, soft boy face.

"Easy there, beautiful. You wouldn't want God to hear you," he replied, an amused smile creeping from the corners of his lips.

I felt anger burning inside of me, threatening to explode in flames.

I glanced down to his arms, which were covered in third-degree burns, and back to his eyes, which looked so tired while purple bags embraced them.

"What did you do to Draven?! I don't want to be here!" I yelled, punching his chest.

That didn't seem to destroy his confidence.

"I hate you, did you know that?" I spat out in pure rage. "You deserve to rot in Hell."

He laughed, obviously finding something funny in this.

I punched his chest again, this time harder, so he winced in pain.

"What the fuck are you laughing at? What did you do to Draven?! I can't remember anything after you came to the pub!"

He rubbed his chest, looking offended. "That's my power, beautiful," he said it like it was obvious.

I was getting annoyed.

"What is your power?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

"I can create whichever situation I want and if I choose to, you will see it."

"What does that have to do with me not remembering anything?"

He sighed. "It was easier to knock you out, so I could create a situation," he said, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "That's Gabriel's power - he can put you to sleep."

That's when I lost my shit.

"WHAT SITUATION DID YOU CREATE?!" I yelled in anger, my voice echoing through the infinite Heaven.

He stumbled back as if my words had hurt him, his eyes wide in shock.

"I made Draven see I killed you," he said nonchalantly like he just told me we have pizza for lunch.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I yelled, feeling my face and eyes heating up.

Oh, Draven.

I don't even want to imagine what he's going through right now.

I only wish... he doesn't do something stupid.

My poor baby.

He is the only one who ever loved me. He is the only one who ever made me laugh. He is the only one who made me forget about how fucked up I am.

He is the boy I love - a little bit messy, a little bit ruined, but a beautiful disaster. Just like me.

Sawyer raised his hands like people do when they're trying to calm down wild animals.

"Aly, you sh-"

"I WILL FUCKING MURDER YOU!"

Sawyer looked at me in shock and after that, everything became quiet again, the voices still softly chanting in the distance.

"Alya, calm down," he demanded, looking at me with seriousness.

"What the fuck is wrong with your face?" I asked.

He was looking at me like he saw a fucking pink elephant.

"Nothing, I'm just impressed you haven't noticed it before," he said with a smirk. "I mean, you're supposed to be a Sybil."

I stood quiet, trying not to burn everything down with my anger.

"I know you like it here. It's almost impossible not to," he kept going, a proud smile appearing on his disgusting face.

"You're fooling yourself if you actually think I will abandon him," I finally managed to say, anger present in my voice.

A bitter laugh escaped from his lips, mocking my words.

His face turned serious in a matter of seconds and when he caught me off guard, he knocked me down to the ground.

I fell on my knees, wincing in pain.

"You need me. You need us," he said, slowly approaching me like I was prey and he was a hunter. "What will you do with him exactly, huh?"

His intense glare burned my skin and I couldn't prevent all of the memories from my childhood from drowning my head.

Every time I kneeled in front of my parents.

Every time I let them hurt me.

Every time I fucking let them humiliate me.

Now it was time to fight for me.

"I will not leave him! I WILL NOT STAY HERE!" I screamed, breaking out of the power he had over me.

I raised my head, slowly standing up.

The fire of anger I felt earlier finally left my body and I was relieved.

The distant voices weren't chanting anymore.

It was pure silence.

As we glared into each other's eyes, I felt power.

And it was the best feeling I've ever had.

His eyes opened in shock and he stepped away from me, falling on his ass while doing so.

"Alya," he said, looking at me like I had a third eye.

"I'm done with you, Sawyer. You don't deserve anyth-"

"Alya, look around yourself," he interrupted me, a hint of fear appearing in his voice. "Your eyes are red."

Red?

A million thoughts ran through my brain, but I did as he told me, finding myself left in pure shock.

My skin was releasing crimson fire, creating a wild shape around me.

Soon afterward, a red, flaming bird raised itself from within me, spreading its wings with pride and dignity.

It flew around me in circles, like it was protecting me

"What the fuck is going on?" I managed to say.

I was standing in the middle of Heaven, my skin and hair producing fire.

"T-That is a Phoenix," Sawyer stuttered, every color of life leaving his body.

The Phoenix landed on my shoulder, embracing my body with its large, magnificent wings.

"I'm your guardian," he finally said and I gasped in shock.

He can talk!

His voice was deep and wise, which reminded me of Dumbledore's voice from Harry Potter.

I love Harry Potter.

"I thought you were a deer," I said confused. "And where were you when the attack happened? Aren't you supposed to guard me?"

"I changed my form when you changed yours," he said proudly, but then his voice deepened even more. "I couldn't do anything to help you. You were unconscious."

"What do you mean? How did I change my form?"

"You evolved, Alya," he said. "You're not just a prophetess. You are divine."

"She's what?!" Sawyer gasped in shock, getting up from the ground. "She is not an angel," he spat, looking at me with disgust.

"I wasn't talking about angels," he turned to Sawyer, then back at me. "Alya, your powers of Sybil came from Italy. You are a goddess."

"I'm not a goddess," I scoffed. "There is only one God and I'm not anywhere near His powers."

Phoenix flew off my shoulder and was now levitating in front of me, looking into my eyes.

I could easily say, he is the most magnificent creature I have ever seen.

His body is beautiful, with red and orange feathers so sleek that they cast brightness on me. His bright, yet deep eyes are showing the right emotion when it's necessary and his big tail is bending under his body, curling towards the end of it.

"You didn't experience your powers yet," he explained. "You have a lot ahead of yourself."

"You know what are my powers?" I asked, trying to put all of the pieces together.

If I'm a goddess, then why am I literally breathing out fire?

Why did I live the normal life of a teenage girl until now?

What changed me?

"Everything will come out at the right time," he said wisely, flying back to my right shoulder.

Suddenly, I felt a throbbing pain inside of my head, the one you have if you get electroshocked.

I fell to the ground, tightly gripping my head.

"Sawyer, stop!" I cried out in pain, my sight getting blurry.

"I'm not doing anything," he defended himself, clear fear defining his voice.

"AH!" I yelled into the sky, tears filling my eyes. "PHOENIX?!"

"Your powers, Alya. Let them in."

I squeezed my eyes shut, tears of pain dripping on my chin.

That was when I felt chills running through my entire body while flashes of my latest vision ran right in front of my eyes.

Woods. Six people. Screaming. Boy.

A boy with emerald eyes.

"DRAVEN!" I yelled through Heaven, trying to prevent him from committing suicide.

Phoenix embraced my body with his wings and I felt myself drifting away.

"DON'T DO IT! I'M ALIVE!" I heard myself yelling into the void.
