Saturday...
It was finally Saturday, and I was on my way to pick up Harley. He sent me the address to Connor's house, so I was a few minutes away already. I had on a simple, black long-sleeve shirt and some blue jeans with white sneakers. I didn't mind getting it dirty for the pottery class, so that's why I chose some old clothes.
I rang the doorbell and looked down to see Aiden, one of Connor's slaves, open the door. He looked up at me, then tipped his head down. "Good afternoon, Master Angelo."
"Good afternoon, Aiden." I smiled, but he didn't see it.
"You can come in. Harley is just finishing up getting ready-"
"I'm ready!" Harley pushed Aiden aside and kissed his cheek. "Tell Sir that I left with Angelo. He and Ren are bathing right now. Bye, bye, Aiden!"
Harley grabbed my hand and pulled me along as he ran to my car. He stopped in front of the sleek black, sports car and whistled. "Ooh, she's real pretty..."
He licked his lips and then looked at me. "I think I like her more than I like you."
I dramatically gasped and held my chest. "I feel hurt, you broke my heart."
Harley smirked, but waved his hand as he turned his head away. "I haven't broken it yet if I just met you, Angelo."
I raised my brows, and chuckled. "I'll be waiting for that day, then."
Harley smiled at me and I walked him to the passenger's side of the car, opening the door for him. He thanked me and I closed his door, walking to the other side of the car and hopping in the driver's side. I turned the car on after buckling up and heard Harley mumble to himself when the engine rumbled loudly. I couldn't quite hear because of the loud engine, but I pulled out of the driveway.
"Where do you want to eat?" I peeked at Harley, but he shrugged.
"I'm indecisive. You choose." He looked at me.
I blinked and pulled to the side of the road, sighing. "This is bad already."
"What? Why?"
"Because I'm indecisive, too." I turned my head to him and he sat back in his seat.
"We'll never choose a place to eat, then..." He whined, but then straightened up. "What are you craving?"
I shrugged. "I don't know."
"Me, neither."
We both sighed, but then I pulled back into the street. "Whatever place we drive by first, we'll go to for lunch."
Harley agreed so we drove in a comfortable silence with some quiet music playing from the radio. I would watch Harley from the corner of my eye, though. It seemed like he could never sit still since he kept bouncing his leg, moving his hands around, and mumbling to himself. I checked him out too, and licked my lips. Even in his casual clothing, I couldn't help wanting to touch him.
I scoffed to myself and put my eyes back on the road. Am I just horny?
The last time I had sex was on Sunday with Davin, and I haven't even jerked off since the shower on the same day.
Wow, it's been a while since I've done something like that.
Until we found a place to eat, I kept my eyes on the road and didn't look at Harley anymore. I felt like if I kept staring or glancing, I would get a hard-on and that would be embarrassing for me.
"Ooh, a cafe." Harley said as I pulled into the parking lot.
I parked the car and turned it off, hopping out. Harley opened his door before I could get to it, which made me silently sigh as I waited for him to reach me.
"The place better have some good food." He linked his arm with mine and smiled when he met my eyes. "We're on a date, right? Let's act all cute and romantic like we've been together for years, yeah?"
I smiled. "Ok."
We walked towards the entrance and I opened the door for Harley, letting him walk in first. I was hit with the smell of coffee and we walked to the end of the line.
"Ooh, what are you going to get?" Harley hugged my waist, making me tense a little but he didn't notice. I gently placed my arm over his shoulders and pulled him closer, his head barely reaching my shoulder. He smiled up at me and laid his head against me. "So what are you getting?"
Scanning the menu, I hummed. "Mm, maybe the caramel-chocolate coffee and an egg lunch bagel. You?"
"The vanilla-bean latte with a ham and cheese lunch bagel. The latte sounds really good."
I nodded and we moved to the cashier once it was our turn. I let Harley order first, then I did. The cashier told me the amount and I quickly handed the guy my card before Harley could even grab his wallet from his pocket.
"This is a date, right? Let me pay for you, sweetie."
Harley squinted at me, but then shrugged. "Thanks for the free food."
I chuckled and took my card back from the guy, then we walked away to a free table. We sat in a corner and I sat across from Harley, while he looked around the cafe. I tried not to look at his face, but he was so beautiful that I couldn't hold myself back, so he noticed.
"Am I that good looking, or do you just have staring problems?" He looked at me with a smirk, and I felt my cheeks warm up.
"Sorry, it's just that you're really beautiful."
Harley's smirk disappeared, and this time, he was the one to blush. He looked down at the table and chuckled all flustered. "O-Oh...uhm, thank you, Angelo."
I smiled. "You're welcome, Harley."
Something seemed to change from his playful and confident personality. As I talked with him, he wouldn't meet my eyes anymore and would speak quietly. His cheeks remained a soft red the rest of the time we spent in the cafe.
We ate our lunch and talked a lot more, getting to know each other and learning about the others' past. I was really happy talking with Harley and I still continued to sneak glances at him, although I knew that he knew that I was watching him, but he didn't seem to mind. It would just make his cheeks darken, which made him even more adorable.
We cleaned our table, threw away our trash, then walked out of the cafe, hopping in my car. We buckled up and I put it in the address to the pottery class in the GPS. I started the route and pulled out of the shopping center.
It took half an hour to pull up to the shop, and we walked in after I made sure that my car was locked. The shop sold different types of ceramic vases, plates, cups, sculptures, etcetera. Basically anything that was made of clay was sold here.
I went up to the worker at the register. "We're here for the pottery class. I registered online."
The girl nodded and grabbed a tablet from behind her. "Alright, what's the name that you registered with?"
"Angelo Romano..." I answered all other questions that she asked, then she looked at me with a smile.
"Alright, the class will start in a few minutes. Follow me to the back." She came out from behind the counter and led us to a door on the far left, then led us through it to an open room where other people were sitting in front of weirdly-shaped tables.
"The teacher will be here soon, so you guys can just sit or talk with the other people." We thanked her and she nodded, walking back out and shutting the door.
When I turned around, I noticed a faint smell of clay and paint in the room. The room had multiple racks on the right wall with different sculptures and handmade objects placed on them, probably to dry. Half of the racks had some painted ceramics, while the others seemed to be drying or waiting to get painted or glazed.
Harley grabbed my hand and pulled me to the last two seats, and we sat down. I stared at the thing in front of me and raised my brows.
"I'm guessing this is your guys' first time to a class?" A deep, guttural voice spoke above me, and I was taken aback by it, but then I nodded.
"Yeah, this is our first time." Harley answered before I could. "We're on a date so he chose this place for us."
"Oh, that's nice..." The man looked at me, then smiled when our eyes met. "Wow, you both have some rare-colored eyes."
Harley and I both looked at each other, and looked at each other's eyes, then realized that the man was right. I had dark amber-colored eyes and Harley had a yellow-goldish eye color.
We both nodded, then turned to the man. "We didn't really notice."
The man blinked, then chuckled. "That's surprising, but I guess it's because you both have rare colors."
I shrugged since it was true. I obviously noticed that Harely's eyes were gold, but I didn't think about how his eye color was rare. My own eye color was rare too, but I would forget about it.
"Well, I hope to talk with you guys some more later." He said after a different door on the left opened, a middle-aged woman walking in with an apron on.
The man left to his seat and Harley leaned closer. "Dude was totally checking you out."
"What?" I looked at him as if he was crazy. "I'm pretty sure he was staring at you. You're a little twink. Who wouldn't want you?"
Harley gasped and pulled away. "I am so offended."
I deadpanned. "You know it's the truth."
"Yes, and?" He blinked a few times in a row and huffed. "We are no longer a couple for today, and that guy was definitely checking you out."
I rolled my eyes and faced forward once the lady clapped her hands. "Good afternoon, everyone."
We greeted her and she smiled. "My name is DD, and I will be your ceramics teacher for today. I've been doing pottery ever since I was thirteen and..."
I zoned out after that and thought about what Harley said. Was the guy actually checking me out?
I don't think he was. I'm pretty sure he would want someone like Harley—a gorgeous twink.
My eyes moved over to the man with the very broad torso and a low messy bun. His dark hair was straight and he had tanned skin. If the guy was actually checking me out and seemed interested in me, then too bad for him. I already had my eyes set on Harley and I only wanted him.
"Angelo, come on." Harley pulled on my arm and I nodded, following him to the wall behind us and grabbing an apron off of the hook.
I put my head through the loop on the top, then pulled at the strands around my waist and huffed, turning to Harley. "Can you tie the strings for me?"
"Yeah, turn around." I did as he said and turned around.
I felt his hands move to my side and lightly touch me to grab the two thin strings, moving them to the back and tying it. I did the same for him after and he pulled out a headband from his pocket. He pulled the stretchy headband over his head, then pulled it over his forehead to push back the hair that was in his face.
"Things are going to get messy, right?" He asked me, and I nodded, leading him back to the next station which was where we would get our pieces of clay.
"Yup."
We sat down on our short stools after and threw the softball-sized piece of clay on the table thingy, waiting for the next instructions from DD.
"Ok, the table in front of you is called a pottery wheel which is where you make the bowl, or whatever you're making. Look at the floor and see how there's a small pedal? You control the spinning wheel's speed. The more pressure you add, the faster it'll turn. There's a small bucket on the side of the wheel as well, with water inside and I want you all to dip your hands inside once I tell you when." She explained, so I pulled my sleeves up to my elbows. "You'll notice that the clay is very hard and feels chalky, correct?"
We touched our pieces of clay and nodded. "Ok. Dip your hands inside the bucket and..."
We continued to listen to what she had to say, then she did a quick demo of what we were going to do. When she finished, she had a small bowl sitting in front of her.
"I'll be going along with you and will walk around to help you all, but if you also need my help, just call for me and I'll come to you." She gave us a smile, then shifted in her seat. "Alright, dip both of your hands inside the bucket of water again and just play with the clay to soften it. Add more if the clay is still too firm. If you're not sure if your clay is at the right softness, I'll come by and check it for you."
We nodded and I dipped my hands into the bucket, Harley doing the same beside me but in his bucket. I cupped a bit of water in my hands, then moved my arms over the piece of clay. I massaged the clay with my wet hands and continued to knead and roll the clay until I thought that it was soft enough.
DD came around and checked my clay just to make sure, and she said that it was perfect. Harley's clay was checked as well, then we waited a few minutes for the next instructions. The lady then told us to gently press down on the pedal, and we did. The wheel in front of me spun around and I wet my hands some more, moving my hands to the clay, then gently cupping the top of the clay hill. The dough began to smoothen out and I added a tiny bit of more pressure.
"Just smoothen the top with your hands, then slowly and gently press your thumbs in the middle to create a volcano shape. Remember that if your hands get a bit dry, just dip them in the water again."
As I did what the lady said, my hands became even more wet and full of clay. My palms and fingers were covered in the clay and water, some of it even getting to my forearm which I didn't even know how it got there.
"Look, Angelo. I'm doing better than you." Harley chuckled beside me and I looked at his valcono, seeing that he was in fact doing better than me. He met my eyes and smirked. "You have something on your face."
"Where?" I rubbed my face with my shoulder, then turned my head. "Is it gone?"
"No, it's right there..." He pressed two fingers to my face and snickered as he pulled his hand away. "Oh no, you have more now."
I blinked, then quickly placed my hand on his left cheek, making him gasp. "You freaking...Angelo!"
I chuckled and turned my head away, but felt his fingers on my neck. "You started it first. This is your fault!"
I became impatient when he didn't stop trying to reach my face, and I turned my head a bit, glaring at him. "That's enough, Harley."
Harley huffed, and sat down, going back to his clay. "No fair."
I chuckled dryly and glared at the side of his face. "My neck is covered in your handprints of clay. You have one handprint on your face, and I have some on my face as well. It's only unfair to you because you could barely-"
"I'm sorry, Angelo." He apologized quietly and the side of his face warmed up. "I know that I covered you in clay, but because of the way I am, I have to get the last laugh."
I squinted at him when he turned to me with a blank expression, then froze when he threw a small piece of clay at my forehead. Harley stared at me and I watched a smile slowly appear on his face before he bursted out laughing.
"I-It's stuck...on your f-forehead!" He laughed loudly which caught everyone else's attention.
I heard quiet snickers around me and closed my eyes, smirking as I shook my head with a dark chuckle. "Oh, Harley. You should know not to play like that with someone like me."
I grabbed my entire piece of clay and gently smacked both of Harley's cheeks, his smile and laugh immediately disappearing. This time, I was the one to burst out laughing and squished Harley's cheeks.
"Don't play with-"
Harley rubbed his face over my hands and I did the same to him, both of us laughing and yelling.
"Um, excuse me?" We both stopped at the same time, then looked up at the middle-aged lady who was giving us a slight scowl. "What do you both think you're doing? If you're going to joke around and not take this class seriously, you can both leave."
I pulled away from Harley and he kept his head down, getting up and walking over to the sink in the back. I shrugged at the lady, then got up and followed Harley.
As we cleaned ourselves up at the sink with water and paper towels, Harley snorted beside me. I looked at him and he slightly tilted his head up.
"At least we got free clay masks."
I shook my head and hid my laugh behind a few coughs, but Harley completely let it out. He got in trouble for that again by the lady, so once we finished cleaning up and putting the aprons back in place, we apologized to the lady, then left the shop.
"Well, that was fun while it lasted." Harley smiled and linked his arm with mine as we walked to my car. "I hope you're not too mad with me."
"It's alright. I don't care anymore since it was funny." I smiled. "But fortunately, I brought an extra shirt just in case I got too dirty."
When we reached the car, I opened the back seat and pulled out another black shirt. "Told ya."
"Oh, that's great for you, Angelo. You'll be all nice and clean with your shirt, while I'll be looking like I rolled in the mud." He crossed his arms and huffed, turning his head away.
I chuckled and pulled a second shirt out. "Here, I brought you a shirt too just in case. I hope you don't mind, though. It might still fit you a bit big even though it's one of my older shirts."
Harley waved his hand and pulled his gray shirt off, then pulled the dark-blue shirt over his head. He held his arms out and shrugged. "Oversized clothes are in today. I'll just say it's fashion."
I nodded and pulled my shirt off, throwing it in the back seat. "Oh, you can just put your dirty shirt in the back, I don't really care."
Harley's eyes moved behind me. "The giant is coming our way. Hurry up and put your shirt on so he can't see your hot body up close."
I turned around and saw that the same bulky man from earlier was walking towards us. I pulled my shirt on, then waited a few more seconds for him to reach us.
"Hey, sorry, I didn't get your name earlier?" He smiled down at me and I blinked.
"It's Angelo. Yours?"
"Logan." He pulled his phone out. "I was hoping I could get your number so the three of us could hang out sometime? If that's alright with you guys?"
I looked back at Harley, but he was already in the car. I turned back to Logan and nodded. "Sure."
I put my number in his phone, then handed it back to him. He weirdly smiled at me, then nodded. "Thank you. I'll text you sometime, ok?"
"Yeah, sure." I waved, then opened my door. "I'll be waiting for your message, then."
I hopped in the car and turned it on as I watched him walk back to the shop, then turned to Harley. "Well, we've just made a new friend."
"You mean you've just made a new friend?" He raised a brow.
"Correct. He's just a friend. If you're worrying about him taking my attention away from you, don't worry. I'm only interested in you." I put my hand on the steering wheel, then smirked, watching Harley's face redden.
