Krystal's Foolish Choice

Author's Note: there is a topic that is a trigger warning in this chapter. If you can't read or don't want to read it then please skip Jin/Krystal's POV at the end. The last paragraph is safe in that part though.

Mr. Min stood in the stands, still leading cheers for Suga, as he pounded on the drum. Jungkook was beyond words as he watched the display of cruel embarrassment. With only the thought of helping his brother, Jungkook covered his ears from the harsh drumming and screams and walked up to his father. "What are you doing?!" He screamed as loud as he could. "It's embarrassing!" The screams of the crowd stopped, just leaving the shallow drumming. "Hyung must be mortified."

Mr. Min instantly stopped the drumming as he looked at his son. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Jungkook!" He screamed before wrapped Jungkook into one of his tight hugs.

"Let go of me!" Jungkook protested as he struggled to make Mr. Min release him. Instead of do as Jungkook said, Mr. Min then proceeded to kiss his cheek over and over. "Disgusting! Disgusting! Disgusting!" Jungkook screamed, catching the attention of the crowd that moved to gather around them for a closer look.

"Disgusting! Disgusting!" Jungkook screamed as he pushed his dad off him and used his hand to wipe the kisses off his cheek. Feeling someone watching him, Jungkook turned and came in contact with the confused and curious crowd. Feeling his own embarrassment now, he gave the crowd a small bow and awkward bunny smile. Mr. Min looked happier than ever.

The two teams mixed together at the center of the court to get ready for the ball toss. Jin was the captain so he was in the middle, with the captain of the other team. Jin crouched low in preparation as the referee held the ball up between them. Suga watched with an excited smirk on his face. Despite his pain and the dangerous he was happy he had decided to risk it.

Just as the referee was about to release the ball, Jin moved out of his stance and held up his hand. "Referee. Time out." He said before he ran to the bench. Suga watched him leave confused. "Taehyung, sub for me." Taehyung gave Jin a peace sign as he ran to the center of the court. "Suga! Please take over for me!" Jin screamed. "I need to leave!"

"Do what you think is important. I'll handle the court." He stuck his thumb up in front of him. "I'll fight your part to the end." He brought his hand back and pounded lightly on his chest. He knew Jin had his reasons and he was willing to help him in any way. Lonna, Momo and Suga all gave approving smiles as Jin quickly snatched his player jacket and ran from the gym.

He ran wildly around the area Momo had mentioned, frantically searching for Krystal. Not seeing her was making him worry worse.

Krystal's POV

The man walked Krystal closer to the restaurant. "I need to submit an end of semester report. The files still on my computer." He said as he checked the time on his phone.

"Then let's reset for another day." Krystal said secretly happy.

"No it's alright." He insisted. "My house is over there. Come with me while I take care of it."

Jisoo walked closely behind the pair, as she kept a close watch on them. "Then we'll go eat and see the show, ok?" The man held Krystal closer to him. The pleading look on his face made Jisoo want to puke.

Krystal felt pressured and was at a loss for how to answer. "It's only a short time. I will fail if I don't. My house is right over there, ok? Please." His begging made it hard for Krystal to refuse.

"Okay." Krystal reluctantly agreed.

"Let's go." The man said before he used the arm he had around Krystal's shoulder to force her to pick up the pace. "If we don't hurry we might miss the movie."

Jisoo was shocked to see them going towards an apartment building. She wondered if she had read the situation wrong. Krystal cheating? Is it really possible? She wondered if she had really wasted her time, but she couldn't wipe away the feeling that there was something more going on.

Suga's POV

The referee tossed the ball between Suga and the other captain and Suga was the one to get it. He tossed it behind him, unfortunately a member of the other team got to it, pushing RM out of the way. He went for the basket, but missed and Suga got the rebound.

Later

The crowd cheered his name as he dribbled down the court. Lonna watched him as he played, with a smile glued to her face. Suga has a tough fight. He tries hard to steal the ball not letting the score deviate. RM passed Suga the ball and he jumped up to score two more points.

"It's good Suga is here, he's so cool." Momo said making Lonna giggle.

Through the game the other team got wise that Suga was the best player. They started blocking him more. Suga used all he had to catch a pass from Taehyung, but two guards were instantly in his way. Suga bobbed and weaved to fight them off. Once he had shook them he took the shot, making the crowd scream his name from his successful basket.

Towards the end of the half Lonna couldn't help feeling something was off, as she watched Suga wince as he ran slower down the court. Why do I feel like Suga's movements are forced? She looked from him to the stopwatch in her hand. First half and we are trailing by two points. Suga held his side as he dribbled one handed. Seeing the chance, he shot for a three pointer. Jungkook and Mr. Min jumped excitedly as he made it. But Suga still believes, that victory is only an arm's throw away.

With sweat running heavily down his face, Suga stood at the three point line again dribbling the ball. Without hesitation he let the ball soar through the air towards the basket. The referee blew the whistle, ending the half. The crowd grew deathly quiet as the ball neared the basket. It was a clean basket. Jungkook jumped into his father's arms, hugging him as they both screamed in joy.

Suga and the team walked over to the chairs to rest. Suga was breathing rapidly as Lonna crouched in front of him and handed him a towel and water. Suga wiped the sweat from his eyes after taking a drink. "You don't look normal." Lonna said as she observed his face. "I can't put my finger on it...your steps, your breathing...are you okay?"

"Maybe since the captains gone, I'm not playing so smoothly." Suga made up an excuse. He couldn't let Lonna know the truth.

"Truly?" Lonna questioned him.

Suga smirked as he leaned his face as close to Lonna's as he could. The look of shock on her face amused him. "False." He whispered lowly.

"Huh?"

"I need to reenergize." Suga answered shortly.

"Do you want another water, sports drink?" Lonna was confused.

"I need..." Suga's voice was low and husky, he gave Lonna the heated look that always brought goosebumps to her skin. "You to kiss me."

Lonna started to shake out of nervousness. She couldn't believe he was asking for such a thing. "Stop joking. Besides uncle is in the bleachers watching." Suga smiled amused that she had the reaction he expected of her. Lonna quickly stood up trying to create some distance between them. Suga stayed bent over in his spot.

Suga decided to push anyway. "Ok, fine. I'll just quit the second half of the game, since the captain had already ditched us." Lonna nervously bit her lower lip. Before she could second guess herself she quickly planted a peck on Suga's cheek and turned around grinning at herself for doing something he believed she wouldn't.

Suga was first shocked that she had actually took the risk, but the a smile spread across his lips at the thought of how cutely she had done it. The smile disappeared as a shot of pain went through Suga's side. He winced in pain as he pressed his hand to it, trying to find some relief. He quickly wiped it away before anyone could notice.

Jin/Krystal's POV

Jin ran with all his might as he searched another part of the area. He wasn't giving up hope that he would find Krystal if he just kept looking.

The man lead Krystal to the top of the stairs. "That one." He said as he pointed to one of the doors in front of them. He guided Krystal over as he got his keys out. "I'll get the door."

He held the door open and used his hand to gesture inside. "Come in." Krystal looked at him suspiciously as she stood by the opening. Part of her questioned what was going on, but she chose not to listen to it as she leaned the umbrella against the outside wall and walked inside the apartment.

Jin had stopped running. He put his hands in his pockets as he walked around with his head hung in sadness. "Jin!" Hearing a voice yell his name, he quickly turned around. He was disappointed to see it was just Jisoo. "Shouldn't you be at the game?" She asked. All he could do was nod his head in shame.

The man used all his strength to hold Krystal down on the couch as she struggled against him. "What are you doing?!" She screamed. She used her foot to kick him off her.

"You came willing, don't act naive!" He yelled as he grabbed her back towards him. Krystal screamed as he forcibly kissed her neck.

Jin skipped up the stairs as quickly as he could. Coming to the top, he looked both ways down the hall as his heart raced with worry. "What are you doing? Stop!" Hearing Krystal's screams he ran towards the door they were coming from.

Krystal fought as hard as she could against the man as he continued to force himself on her. He tugged on her clothes trying to get them off, Krystal tried her best to block his advances. "No let go!"

Suddenly the man went flying away from her. Jin pushed him hard making him fall back and hit his head against a table. The man quickly got back to his feet. Jin hit him hard in the stomach, making him bend in pain. Once he was down, Jin landed an upper cut to his nose making him fall over again. This time he stayed down. Jisoo watched from the hall as Jin shook with anger.

Krystal could hardly even look at him with the amount of shame she felt. Jin controlled himself as he spoke to her. "I want to show off my ability on the court, because that's what I'm good at. I want...my girlfriend to be proud of me for it. Instead you demanded I make a choice. Using this foolish method to force me." Krystal couldn't deny what he was saying and the guilt ate her up. "I want to treasure you, but why aren't you treasuring yourself?" Not wanting to break because of her tears, Jin left.
