Krystal's Father's Rage

Krystal's father stomped up to his daughter and gripped her wrist tightly. Jin looked confused between the two of them. "Go back with me." He demanded.

"Krystal...?" Jin didn't understand what was going on. He watched as Krystal tried in vain to free her wrist.

"Dad..." Krystal begged in a whiney voice.

"Come." Her father said before pulling her behind him.

"Dad." Krystal dug the heels of her shoes into the floor and forced her dad to stop the dragging. "I got class this afternoon."

He finally let go of her wrist and turned to look at her. "No need. I already submitted your school withdrawal."

"Withdrawal?" Jin rushed to her dad's side. "Why do you need to withdrawal?"

Krystal was feeling guilty seeing the shock in her boyfriend's eyes. She grabbed a hold of his hand and squeezed it gently. "I...I dont want to." She stuttered.

Her father snatched her hand roughly out of Jin's and went to pull her again. "Krystal, let's..."

"Uncle." Jin shouted out to stop him from leaving. Not wanting to be seen as rude, once he got his attention, Jin bowed his head respectfully. "Our first time meeting. Nice to meet you." He greeted her father, who stared at him like he was a bug to be stepped on. "My name is Kim Seok-Jin. I'm Krystal's boyfriend."

Her father turned his angry gaze to her, making Krystal drop her head in shame. "You didn't come back last night, because you were with this punk?"

Seeing the look of shame on both their faces, he knew his assumption was correct. He could feel the blood boil with rage. He raised his hand up and moved to bring it across his daughter's cheek, but to his surprise, Jim quickly moved to protect her, by shielding her body with his.

Feeling guilt for his loss of self-control, he slowly retracted his arm. Jin let go of Krystal and hid her behind his back as he turned to face the man. "Uncle, I understand why you are upset. But before you get mad, let us explain." He pleaded.

"No need!" Her father yelled. He set his eyes on Krystal's tear stained face. "You know how I am. Will you come without a fight, or make matters worse?"

Knowing her father's threat could potentially hurt the boy beside her, she had no choice. Krystal gave Jin a sad look, before walking away from him. Jin didn't understand why she was being so timid. This wasn't the Krystal he knew at all and his heart broke to watch her leaving him behind.

"Wait!" He yelled as he ran up behind her and turned her back to him. They stared at each other, before Jin turned to look back at her father. "Uncle, Krystal did spend the night at my place, but..."

"I don't want to hear what you did." Her father interrupted.

"We didn't do anything." Jin refused to let her father intimidate him.

"Get out of the way!" He commanded.

"I can't!" Jin yelled back. "At least tell me why Krystal needs to quit school." He said more calmly.

"You are blind to danger." Krystal's father said before he charged in Jin's direction. He held his umbrella out, as he twirled around, bringing it to a stop only a couple inches from Jin's face. Jin went cross-eyed as he stared at it. Hearing her father let out a deep chuckle he moved just his eyes in his direction, scared to move any other muscle. "Young man, wants to be a hero? Assess yourself. Do you have what it takes?" He tossed the umbrella to the ground and grabbed on to Krystal's arm and dragged her no matter how much she protested.

She looked back at Jin, who made no move to stop her father another time. She silently prayed he would, but as he father pulled down the stairs, he still hadn't moved or even looked in her direction. Jin felt useless and heartbroken as he let his head drop in sadness.

Lonna's POV

Lonna happily stared at her ring as she sat on the couch waiting for Suga. "Suga, hurry up. We need to go." She yelled, getting tired of him taking his time.

After five more minutes, her patience had reached it limits. She walked over to the bottom of the stairs. "Suga!" She screamed. Suga finally slowly started making his way down the stairs. Lonn gave him an angry glare. "So slow. Like a snail."

Suga rolled his eyes at her back as he followed her to the door. He stopped as a envelope on the coffee table caught his eye. He stared at it for a moment, before quickly grabbing it.

Lonna watched in shock as he angrily crumpled the envelope and then threw it as far as he could. "Suga?" Before she could ask him to explain, he phone rang in her pocket.

She rushed to answer it. "Hello. Jin?" She was worried. Jin never called.

Suga stared at the envelope ball that was on the couch with his jaw clenched and his hands in two tight fists. He was seething with rage, that only got worse the more he looked at it.
