Ruhani's POV

Today was 1st January and I was waiting for him.

'Princess, please think once again,' dad said.

'Dad, everything will be alright. It's just a matter of six months,' I said with a sad smile.

'He is a casanova, princess, and if he can't control himself, just call me and he will never give birth to a child,' he said very seriously and I laughed.

'Rahul, shut up,' mom scolded.

'I am serious,' he said.

'I will take care of myself and please don't be sad... today is new year and I don't want you to be sad,' I said.

'He already ruined our mood by asking you to leave this house on new year,' dad said.

'Ru, call everyday and remember we are here, always,' mom said and I hugged her.

Dad gave me a kiss on forehead as Devil called me and asked me to come outside.

I stepped out of my house with a heavy heart. I never thought that I will be leaving my house in such a way but, thanks to devil who came and changed my life.

'Hi Angel, Happy new year,' he greeted me.

'Happy new year, Mr. Malhotra,' I mumbled.

'Don't call me Mr. Malhotra, as I don't like it,' he said angrily.

'I will call you, Mr. Malhotra,' I said with a smirk and he angrily took the bag from my hand and kept in the car and opened the front door of the car.

Shit! I had to sit in car. Flashbacks of the past appeared in front of my eyes.

'Are you okay?' I heard his voice full of concern and I nodded and slowly sat in the car after three years. He closed the door and sat beside me on driver's seat.

'Angel, do you remember how I used to sneak from my house to your house whenever you used to call me?" he asked looking at their house.... Yes, our family were neighbors till the fight happened between our dads and his family shifted to Bangalore.

I didn't reply him.

'When I ask you something, Ruhani, I expect an answer,' he said angrily and I was shocked that he called me Ruhani.

'Yes, I remember,' I answered.

'That's good, Angel,' he said with a smile.

Again back to Angel, really he is wierd.

We reached his house in fifteen minutes. He came and opened my door and then took my bags out and we went inside his house and I saw an uncle and aunty were standing in the hall.

'This is Mohan uncle, my driver and this is his wife Meera aunty, my cook, they stay in the guesthouse beside the house and uncle and aunty she is Ruhani,' he introduced us and I greeted then.

Devil took me upstairs and showed me the room which will be mine for the next six months.

'So Angel, this is your room,' he told me.

It was a simple room with a big bed and a night stand beside the bed and a television on the front wall with a cupboard on the side.

'Yes,' I said and he and showed me the house. His room was downstairs and beside his room was his office room.

Then we went in my room and aunty bought an orange juice for me.

'They know that you will be staying with me for the time being,' he said and I nodded my head in understanding. Then he left and I called mom, dad and Anaya and informed them that I reached and then I reached downstairs.

'Breakfast is ready,' I heard aunty's voice.

I saw only one plate of sandwich.

'I will eat alone?' I asked her confusingly.

'Yes, Vikram sir does not have breakfast or lunch, he only have his dinner,' she told me.

'What?' I asked, almost shouted.

'Yes, I am with Malhotra family for the past twelve years and I know it,' she said.

That means they hired uncle and aunty when they went to Bangalore, that's why I don't know them.

'I will go and talk to him,' I said and went to his room but he was not there and then I went to the office room which he showed me.

'Yes, Angel?" he asked as soon as I went in his office room.

'Why don't you have breakfast or lunch?' I asked.

'Wow! you come to know things very fast,' he joked.

'But why? In this way you will fall sick,' I said.

'I never had my breakfast or lunch and no one asked me, not even mom or Akira... how dare you ask such questions Ruhani. I don't like if someone questions me,' he shouted.

'But it's not right, maybe we are not in good terms but I want you to eat,' I said calmly because I know he was angry.

'I will not eat,' he said finally, without giving me a reason to argue.

'Okay, I will also not eat,' I said.

'Go ahead, Angel, do as you like,' he said and went back to his paperwork and I went in my room after telling aunty that I will not have lunch and apologizing to her for not having sandwich.
