"If the imperfections we cover were there in the first place for a reason, then all-cause can be lost in a swing of a brush against blemish. But what if all-cause was never worth the uncover of our insecurities? Are we then only being stripped of our shield and armor, piece by piece, till no protection remains?"

Yoonbi
"Why aren't you picking up my calls?" Are the first words he uses to break the tension looming in the distance between us. He walks closer to me just as I take my steps across the porch, remembering that I need to do something and quickly.
Jungkook holds my hand when I don't answer him and attempt to walk past him into my house, my mom must be asleep and dad is at work. I can just quickly go in and successfully avoid any questions. "Yoonbi yah?"
The confusion and anxiety that shakes his voice is so dangerously close to breaking that last piece of sanity I need to get through this, I turn to him with glossy eyes and yank my hand out of his, missing the warmth almost immediately. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" He goes on, speaking while I stay silent.
My words may hurt if I talk, I have no choice but to push him away. He has nothing to do with all this, but he can't just get the message! He's still looking at me, expectant, and making the guilt I feel towards everything I previously did magnify a ton. "Leave," I mutter and flinch at the coldness I portrayed, I didn't mean it that way, I wanted to plead not to push him away.
His feet inched away and his pupils shook in his eyes, betraying the storm I triggered inside him. I didn't wait, I had no intention to see the consequences of my mistake so I ran away. I left him behind and ran into my house, locking the door just before I heard him trying to shake its knob open.
Every call of my name rolling off his tongue made me consider turning around and explaining everything to him but it wasn't that easy, he's human. He's not welcome in any aspect of this scenario, he should stay away. My fingers trace the TMC logo over the blank wall and a door appears, I'm inside and searching through RyungNa's equipment in a blink.
Her laptop proves to be the place where she hid the basics of her program, I stare at her desktop for a while not knowing what I'm looking for. A folder between the many others catches my eyes, Raven. Just that title screams more to it.
I double click and a list appears, many files that make no sense. They look absolutely ordinary, some had music in them and others were full of pictures of us and other people she knew. When the second to the last file, Raven Changes, took its turn, the screen crashed.
Everything fades into black and I could see my stained face and messy hair's reflected image on the screen, white light caught my attention as a logo appeared at the center. The word Raven continued to be a consistent title, 'Changes' was written in a smaller font under 'Raven'. The logo was taking a bigger part of the attention as its white contrasted with the darkness surrounding it.
It looked like a bird, it's sharp beak and outstretched wings emphasized that it's in fact a Raven. There were a few arrows aiming to make it a fallen bird but neither managed to harm it's gorgeous big wings, hinting the freedom and power it holds.
The screen changed into something like a slide show, started with the file's title; Raven Changes, and ending with Persistently, Raven. The reappearance of the name made me realize this wasn't only my best friend's nickname, but it's her title. The fighter representing the dismay of many other mutants who don't want to live this way yet are unable to step against the rules of years before.
As I read through, I realized this is an overview and I can't get to access the program or activate it without passcode and biometric information. Its protection was too strong and personalized, I was proud. RyungNa did well personalizing it's protection system so no one can use it or destroy it.
I was surprised to figure that the program is actually TMC-friendly, instead of violently demanding to break the rules it descended with a persuasive argument about solutions that aim for the comfort of the past generations and the coming ones.
Agent AeSook was mistaken, my best friend wasn't a criminal to get threatened. Instead of altering the history of our clans, Raven Changes aimed at developing them and all it took was a matter of skill and devotion.
Instead of wiping us persons out of human memories when we show our powers, it is requested to wipe that single incident if necessary. It offered a preferable execution of an agreement between mutants and humans to adapt together, it accepted the slow rate the execution may take on conditions of the constitution to wholly try with all what they've got.
Many more solutions were skillfully presented, it was brilliant and breathtaking. I wanted to view the program so badly, what was it that it made the TMC put an agent to the issue? Was RyungNa's attempt so strong? The ringing of my phone pulled me out of my reverie and I checked the screen to see Jr's contact flashing.
I silenced it so my mom won't wake up and shoved the device into my pocket without answering, I took RyungNa's laptop and shoved her other tech-related belongings in random drawers to get them out of sight. Then I started looking around for a hiding spot to keep her laptop safe in, AeSook met me and she may know RyungNa would come here to keep her secrets.
I took a back bag and shoved the laptop inside, deciding better than keeping the device in my house. It's too easy to find it in my house, she knows all the secret compartments the MSR has. My phone continued to vibrate again and again in my pocket so I pulled it out as I went downstairs to leave.
"Jr," I started.
"Yoonbi, are you done?" The urgency in his tone made me frown.
"Is something up?" I ask, turning the keys and getting out of the door as a person keeps talking in Jr's background. It sounded like a girl, warning about something over and over again. The realization cut through my thoughts when I recognized her voice.
"RyungNa woke up, she's fretting about something. She says you need to come, now." His voice doesn't help me decipher her words and I give up at his command, locking the door of my house and snapping a quick 'I'm coming' to Jr before I'm fastening the strap of the bag on my shoulder and turning to run speedily out of the porch.
However, a hand puts its stone-grip around my wrist and pulls me back so hard. The timing is thrown between misfortune and relief, someone almost saw me use my speed, I note and grumpily look up at the hard chest.
My mind is faster than my eyes as I recognize the pure smell of my Kookie, our eyes meet as he lets his deep chocolate oceans show the catastrophe occurring inside him. With all the haste, my kind allowed me to take my mind off the fact that I locked him out of my door with no explanation whatsoever.
"Jungkook, I'm so sorry, I need to go." The urgency of the situation stays fresh in my head as the weight of the bag on my shoulder and the phone in my hand keeps me focused. He's panting and quiet, but he won't let me go.
My attempts to pull my wrist out of his hand become more frequent as I out all my power into them, knowing that there is nothing I can say that will make him let me go now. "Stop." He words, allowing me to indicate the sharpness of his attitude.
For a split second, it felt like time stopped with my failed attempts. "I need to protect you," Jungkook muttered, to me? To himself? I don't know, then he tightened his fingers before letting go all at once. My heart soared but my mind felt like it's malfunctioning, my best friend needs me.
I turned away from him with an apologetic nod and ran away, shouting to myself that I need to make it up to him somehow. One second I'm behind a street corner and the next I'm finding behind the closest corner to the hospital with ragged breaths, my feet take me inside the hospital and to RyungNa's room.
"Yoonbi, what's going on." BamBam is the first to seethe at me when I'm in the room, RyungNa is pale with an IV attached to her hand. I don't reply and quickly skip towards RyungNa, sitting by her and taking her hands in mine.
"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry about everything--" I rub circles on her pale skin and stop when she talks in my head.
It's okay, this is not the time. It was my fault too, but I need you to-- I could already read what she wants me to do off her thoughts and I couldn't hide my surprise at the ability to do so. She seemed weaker and her mental protection was faded, allowing me to see the chaos inside her head.
She wants her laptop, she's going to send out the overview of Raven Changes to the constitution. She's aiming it at the TMC as a sign of collaboration, to let them know the hack she did was only because she wanted to get a cyber-copy of the original rules list that the whole system works by.
She needed it to strengthen her argument and program, she needed real evidence in her system if she wants to get somewhere. The shock on my face was what made her stop talking, but I didn't explain and quickly took out her laptop instead.
She looks at me then at her laptop, and at me again, "did you..." She trailed off as I nodded and patted her shoulder, complimenting her work telepathically. Her eyes turned glossy as she turned away and opened her laptop, letting her fingers fly over the keyboard.
"Can someone tell us what's happening?" Jackson's deep voice interrupts my attention to the laptop RyungNa is working on, she's pretty awesome at this. I smile and nudge her to ask a question.
Are we good? I look at her apprehensively.
We're amazing. She replies, not looking away from her screen and only giving away a faint smile.
"Stop that." Jr pleads cutely, referring to the telepathic convos we are having, Jackson was staring at me deep in thought while BamBam was still gritting his teeth in discomfort.
"What happened, RyungNa?" BamBam shoots at his friend and I look away in visible shame.
"Nothing--" RyungNa doesn't get to continue pushing off the matter as BamBam fisted hands whitened his knuckles and he glared at me, "don't look at her like that BamBam," she warns, going back to her screen, "she had nothing to do with what happened to me."
"Liar." He snaps, putting all of us to silence, "she's the only one who knew where you were, although we all received the same message." His eyes twist in rage, the same look I saw on RyungNa when she knew I told Suga about my power before her.
My eyes shoot between the arguing pair, building a clearer understanding of the situation in my mind. It was either leave RyungNa to explain everything in a way that would leave a hole in their platonic relationship or spill the truth RyungNa won't dare to show without my permission.
"She didn't tell me where she was." I blurt before my mind would alter its decisions, his face changed to mockery, about to accuse my words, "I knew."
Jr steps forward and Jackson stands straighter, "Yoonbi..." RyungNa looks at me, taken aback. But I needed to, they're my friends now and they must continue to trust me.
"I have a fake third power, my real third power... I'm a psychic." I watch the eyes that widen and the lips that part, I see the accusations and disapproval build in their hearts and minds. "That's how I knew." I murmured.
"What?" Jr goes.
"That's how I knew?" Jackson mocks me, so pissed. "I thought we are close! You were my füking crush and you knew it!" He shut his mouth when all heads snapped to him, making me know it was a slip out.
"What the helł?" BamBam and RyungNa shout together, although BamBam's voice was louder, making nurses walk into the room.
"Is everything alright?" A nurse with a notepad directs at me, I shake my head with a smile, "I need family please, we need to get some paper paperwork"
"I'm family." I catch onto my escape, walking with the nurse out of the room, "I'm a distant relative." I further explain, blocking out the questions the boys start shooting at RyungNa.
Sorry, best friend.

The talk with the medical staff that took care of RyungNa was nothing normal, my eyes bulged numerous times and my lips seemed to repulse each other, staying parted all along.
"She was almost gone, she had no energy whatsoever and her blood was so poor in all aspects. Normally, it would take at least months in the hospital with excessive IV aids to get the person to wake up. But she was too weak even- it was amazing!" The doctor is enjoying his experience too much, I listen though.
"She is normally weak, being a young girl and all. But it was fantastic! When I first checked up on her, I thought she's not going to make it through! It's a miracle!" This is getting out of hand, what in the world is happening.
"Thank you sir," I say before he can go on again about how amazing RyungNa's survival was, but one thing I know is that AeSook almost killed RyungNa and Jimin. The former literally and the latter figuratively.
I decide to leave the SMG together a little more as I exit the doctor's office, settling on a chair in the hallway and taking out my phone. My mood felt significantly improved, the best I've been the whole week.
My fingers jab on the screen, finding Jimin's contact and sending him a celebratory text saying how RyungNa is all well. He asked for the location in reply and I send it to him. Then, I call Jungkook.
"Yoonbi yah, are you okay?" He picks up on the second ring, seemingly faintly out of breath.
"Yes. I found RyungNa, she's okay now. I'm sorry..." I trail off, having no explanation for what I did to him, "if you can meet up tonight I'll make it up to you." I compensate.
He chuckles on the other line, bemused, "sure, you scared me too much though. It wasn't nice." He confesses, making me bite my lips in guilt.
"Kookie," I say and hear him sigh in content, "can you trust me?"
"Yes." My heart swells when he replies in a beat.
"I'm sorry about today, how I pushed you away instead of asking for your help. But there are stis I can't tell you about, just trust me."
"Hmm," he mumbles slowly, "like girl-stuff?" That makes me laugh for the first time in a while, "refreshing." He remarks.
"You could say so," I laugh again, "oh god I--" I stop myself just before I say the L-word.
"You what?"
"Meet me tonight if you want to know," I tease him, "I'll keep you posted on my whereabouts, bye."
"See you, Yoonbi."
//I need to talk to y'all

So I'm satisfied with the ending of this chap but...
