"come and find me where the peace has disappeared..." ten sighed dejectedly. he hadn't a clue where to even start, and had already tried a couple of places that had been for naught. the canteen was dead-silent, the hallways were all but empty...even the pitch outside was derelict when he peered from the second floor window of the school building.

"peace...peace...peace..." his eyes lazily read the crumpled note over and over. this was just annoying. it made no sense to chase after him, and a little extra credit wasn't particularly important to the thai since he was a stellar student anyway. why did he agree to this?

he perked up upon seeing two students' silhouettes a little ways down the corridor. one was a little shorter than the other, and the faint, melodic sound of their giggles resounded gently through the area. maybe they know where the party is...

"hey!" ten called, proceeding to jog over to them and startling both in the process.

"shit, it's our president," he could hear one of them mutter before the smaller of the two dashed off into the darkness, never to be identified. once the dark-haired boy approached the mysterious shadow, the moonlight revealed him to be the ivory class' pride and joy yet biggest pain in the ass; lee donghyuck.

"i won't question why you aren't in bed at," ten checked his watch, "eleven p.m, if you tell me why you're up."

"oh..." the blonde panicked a little, looking over his shoulder to make sure his secret lover had well and truly escaped. "um, i couldn't sleep...so a friend of mine and i decided to stay up. it was a dumb idea, i'm sorry."

"so...you haven't seen a party around?" the older pressed, completely overlooking the suspiciousness of his previous 'friend' running away. "i'm looking for one."

"wow, pres. i didn't pin you to be the type to loosen up. no offence, of course."

"none taken. i don't want to participate in the ridiculous disregarding of the rules...i need to find someone."

"oooh," the teen in white uniform chuckled with a little interest. "is this person in trouble? boy or girl?"

"boy. johnny-frickin'-seo," ten groaned. "our class is full of idiots like him, honestly."

"johnny is sound if you give him the chance," donghyuck hummed, then nodded to the piece of paper in the boy's hand. "did he give you a hint? a riddle?"

"yeah...how'd you know?"

"everyone starts out like that, really. i was pretty good at them when i first started out as his friend. what's it say?"

"come and find me where the peace has disappeared. enlighten me, oh great one. what does it mean?" the shorter insisted. "i don't have all night and this is ticking me off."

"think of peaceful places," the blonde yawned before starting to stretch and head towards the direction the other silhouette had run. "quiet spots."

"it's the middle of the night. everywhere is quiet!"

"and that's the narrow-mindedness johnny seo avoids, pres. think wisely."

this brat, the older internally whined, resisting his urge to stomp his foot like a child. was it too much to ask to collapse onto his mattress and get a decent sleep? did the principal ever think of that?

"peaceful places," he gritted his teeth now that he was alone, "thinking wisely? is he messing with me too?" he clambered over to the windows that lined the hall, staring out at the night that had befallen the campus. it was beautiful, the darkness. the insects that whizzed through the warm air creating a lively atmosphere regardless of the time.

peace...he furrowed his brows, pressing his hand against the glass and staring at his hand. peace has been disturbed....think wisely...

his breath hitched, gorgeous dark and slanted eyes widening at the realisation. "the goddamn library!" he hissed. "shit!"

immediately picking up into a sprint, he ran as fast as he could down the school towards the communal area where, usually, both ebony and ivory formed a truce. wars did break out there, it wasn't impossible...but mostly studious and academic passive members of the school community resided in there, and the warriors stuck to more crowded places where fights were more likely to occur.

his breath was short once he rolled on up to the double doors, their mahogany wood all polished and perfect. he sucked in all the oxygen he could while holding onto his knees, staring intently at the handles as he thought through what he wanted to do. damn, i'll just wing it!

ripping the panels open, he shifted inside quietly and heard lots of laughter and excitement. in truth, this was a brilliant place to hide out in since it was both soundproof, large and certain students who volunteered here held the keys.

"eeey, our wonderful president!" another ivory class student from, what ten imagined was second year, ran over excitedly. he didn't recognise him, though he rarely ever did. more of his class knew him than he knew of them. between both ten and kun (the ebony leader), presidency was like being given a stunning crown and the power was to die for.

"where's johnny?" he cut to the chase. "i have to speak with him."

"oh, he's down the back," the kid pointed towards the maze of shelves hiding a lot of the 'fun'. "what has you here?"

"formal business. nothing anyone present would understand," he bit out irritatedly and stormed through the labyrinth of books. there were collections of teenagers everywhere, smelling vile and speaking way too loudly. he brushed past them all and finally reached the back where the king of 'having fun' himself was listening to some stories from others.

"johnny seo!" the thai hissed, "you're coming with me whether you like it or not—"

"ay, pressie," the brunette smiled happily. "you made it, huh? i was wondering if you'd find me."

"you are going to face a monumental kick up the ass for messing me around, asshole. come with me now!"

"good luck, bro," one of his friends patted his shoulder before everyone started dispersing to give them some space. the pair remaining looked one another up and down for a moment before resettling on the battle at hand.

"so," johnny smirked, "tutoring huh? since you found me on the first attempt, i'll go with you and study," he gagged. "but it gets harder, my good sir."

the younger walked right up to him and pushed him back so that he had his fingers gripping the other's collar tightly and was pressing him to the wall threateningly. "i am going to teach the hell out of you, and there's nothing you can about it," he whispered against his ear.

"sounds fun."
