DB 38

All talk hushed to General Raylens stopping of steed, his hand rose high into the air while he looked around carefully.  Giving War a slight brow arch, War returned it with a nod allowing Raylen to go from there without seemingly asking War for advice in front of his men.

“We enter here” He called twisting in his saddle, facing his men head on in dominance. Siana scrunched her brows together, confused as to what exactly they were entering, as if was a wide open field. She looked to War for answers. Doing the very opposite of what she had in mind, War ignored her looks of concern.

Frowning, Siana shifted her weight into her saddle tapping one finger on her saddle. Shirgar’s ear twisted around to her irritation, a clearing of his nostrils was all he gave back for comfort.  For a few minutes men gathered themselves together, each one seemingly more alert than before. War leaned over towards her cheek, whispering in unmoved lips.

“Do I as, and fear nothing.” She once again gave him a questionable look, which was returned with a smirk. Making sure to show him her irritation, War cracked his neck giving his Bay a nudge forward once more ignoring her. Siana ground her teeth together, if he was trying to piss her off, he was succeeding.

Giving Shirgar the rights to follow, Siana’s eyes widened when general Raylen and War both vanished from sights. She gulped, remembering the words of War as she too walked in their hoof prints. The unknowing of what was to become of her a very frightening feat at best, having never seen such witchcraft before, Siana hoped War wasn’t one for trickery.

Colors radiated around her body, as Shirgar kept his pace even. She took comfort in his steady movements, as he didn’t seem phased by the foreign portal. Taking it as a sign he’d done this many a time before, Siana relaxed her shoulders, trusting her steed to lead them out.

A heavy breath of relief passed her lips, seeing War and the General waiting patiently for her and others to flood out. Siana took in her new surroundings. Different smells of sweetness filled her lungs, as the lush evergreen seemed to roll over every valley under Shirgar’s feet. Moving out of what she thought could be the way, Siana stopped Shirgar near War’s bay.

She made sure not to look in his general direction, giving him personal notes as she wouldn’t be asking him what was happening. Her surprise to his horse stepping closer only intensified as his face mimicked as well.

“You are curious?” He asked, a clear hint of amusement passing his short question. Siana licked her lips, and with a disregarded shrug she didn’t bother to meet his eyes. Knowing it would bother him, Siana made sure to conceal her amusement. War didn’t like being ignored, specially for something that interested him.

“You have nothing to ask, not a thing?” He pushed a little more, giving his bay a chance to move closer to Shirgar. Siana yawned lightly tugging a rein to steer away from War, her actions made perfectly clear. War growled under heavy armor, a sound so intense Siana gripped her reins a little tighter from caving into his power.

Seeing all the men make it through without a glitch, Raylen pressed onward, having War at his side while they spoke more. Siana held back a few strides, her mind reprocessing the portal for herself. Piece of a puzzle she’d yet to understand, slowly began to come together. Books War had intrusted she read at his last departure, where now filling in blanks to what his Kin were made for.

Stories of heroes, villains and past events, were written down as though someone had actually been in the middle of what became of the world she was now living in. The way this new place looked compared to the harsh cold area in which they once came from, was vastly different. Siana tilted her head to a new sound, one of a bird with a song she’d never heard before.

It seemed to of caught the attention of many others as well, as they slowed horses to see if eyes could pinpoint the feathered creatures whereabouts. War pulled back on reins, giving Shirgar a chance to ride up next to him.

“Its a peacock” He mused, a trickle of a smirk causing his lips to pull ever so gently to the left. Siana snorted, her mind not amused with his new word of what sounded like a jest.

“You do not believe me?” Tilting his head, War watched her carefully. Siana pulled Shirgar to a halt, eyes moving over his face for what could've been something of distaste.

“You expect me to believe man has a sense of humor?” She whipped back, not giving him any emotional twitches.

“Perhaps it wasn’t man who has a sense of humor” War licked his lips, relaxing both shoulders while keeping perfect eye contact with her. With a free hand War played with a dagger, making sure to continue his hold on her eyes while flipping its blade to and from each knuckle. Siana frowned tossing her head away, he was messing with her once more, she just knew it.

Chuckling with held breath War looked over his shoulder to a group of men who’d been closest. He gave a grunt to gather their attentions.

“What say you that bird who calls is?” Siana’s cheeks flamed as each man laughed saying the excated name War had just bestowed to her ears not moments ago. Tucking her shoulders inward, Siana refused to look at any of them. Her sense of frustration towards the whole lot of men was something she wasn’t able to push away. She lead her mind to believe that either they were all in on the joke to her expense, or she’d been foolish to believe War to lie about such a dense thing as a name.

Neither of the two was in her favor.

Leaving it be Siana rode up to where Raylen walked, he’d heard but didn’t seem in the least to pester her about such loose topics. Instead he nodded a greeting to her approach, before looking back over many open valleys of lush greenery.

“Tell me Siana, have you ever seen such greenery before?” She turned a hair to see his face, taking note he’d not looked away from his view.

“Not as much” Replying truthfully. Raylen nodded again, closing his eyes while inhaling a deep breath of what smelled like sugar cane in the heat of summer.

“Clean air is hard to come by where I am from, is it like that where you come from?” This time his eyes turned to see her own. Siana’s lips twitched at the idea of thinking of home. She’d not really given it much thought as she’d still hadn’t decided if where she rested her head now, was truly home or foe.

“Its fine at best” She replied, sending him a forced smile while tucking a strand of loose hair   where it belonged. Raylen rose a dark brow in her direction.

“You seem unsure of the answer in which you give." He stated calmly with such a  light tone Siana swore he was testing her.

She held her tongue for a moment, words of which answer best suit this particular situation were webbing together.

“It isn’t a matter of unsure, but rather the question itself. Where I come from, one has very little time to sniff if the air be clean.” Siana shinned her eyes at the General, each black line separating a blue pigment changed to one of deeper radiance. Watching Raylen become entangled with how she performed such a feat, War gave a deep clearing of throat muscles, warning him to part his eyes from Siana’s.

“The village is just a head” Giving a longer look to Raylen as he passed between them both, his bay snorting in displeasure to heels pressed to each side. Siana huffed asking Shirgar to push at a quicker pace. She knew what War had done, and her knowledge of what he hid behind underlined words was something she kept to herself.

Each man pulled his horse to a stop just outside the small farming and iron making village, it smelled of steel and grains from what Siana could pick up. War had advised not all enter as once, as it would seem we were more threat than aid. Raylen agreed and took a handful of men, having War lead the way inside. Keeping behind Siana allowed her body posture to relax, taking in each pair of eyes that seemed to quickly fall her way.

She noticed small children gathered a few strides behind Shirgar, and her worry for his back hoof to fall upon them grew as their courage. It was a choice she took seriously before pulling both reins, when her feet hit solid ground those children flooded her. Shirgar gave a growl stomping his steel shoes causing the small pebbles to jump like crickets.

Patting his mane, Siana motioned for every child to walk along with her, giving Shirgar more room to feel uncrowded. They tugged at her clothing, inspecting each piece with such care, she swore they were trying to understand what the material was. Giving a low chuckle to a little girl when her tiny hand slipped into hers, Siana gave her a small smile of comfort.

“Siana” War called from over his shoulder, causing her head to snap roughly in his direction. She waited for him to speak, still holding the childs hand as they walked on.

“Place your stallion in the stalls with the rest, I have to see a man about armor.” Not waiting for her reply War handed his bay to a tall lanky looking boy, before rounded a dark clay hunt. Siana cocked her head to the left watching the boy, with a tug from the girl Siana nodded following him briskly.

Raylen had go off in search of lodging for his men, or at least ranking ones. the rest would make camp outside the village, more than likely to be accompanied with local woman in search of a mans hand and heart.

Pounding of steel hitting hot steel clanged through a deep heated stone hunt, its owner a well known crafts maker of fine armor. Billows pumped air on to already bright coals, while War struck the hammer down against a fired piece of metal. He worded its shape till it suited the style he wanted, once pleased War moved on to making yet another piece, adding each one slowly.

Sweat dripped from his brows, sizzling when they hit the burning metal bring a tiny mist of smoke. He banged harder, pulling out each knick his well trained eyes found. A maker himself of fine armor, War could easily see where a weaker point lay on ones armor, even when they were too busy charging at his front.

Sparks shot off flickering out into nothing more than ash, his forearm gave another meaningful swipe over forehead to keep drops from blinding his perfect vision. A soft knock rose his head before his hand could bring the hammer down, with a tilt of his head War lowered his hammer waiting for her words.

“What are you making?” Siana’s voice was humble as she approached, something about it seemed unnatural to War.

“Its a breastplate” His throat cleared, feeling the sting of burning smoke enter his lungs unintentionally. He watched as her deep ocean eyes blinked back tears from the overwhelming heat.

“Don’t you need to know ones size before making such a piece?” She moved closer flickering from himself to armor.

“I would” He stated rocking back on both heels, the wonder on his face somewhat clearer than the smoking building. Siana gave him an uncomfortable look, one in which had War swiping his forehead, this time not because of hard labor.

“However one with good eyes can guess appropriately” Knowing the moment he allowed such words to exit would be his undoing, War could only simply watch as Siana’s eyes widen in utter shock. Her cheeks burned just as brightly as the flames, having nothing more to do than watch her step forward War waited for what he thought would be a good lashing.

“I don’t think guessing would be appropriate to do when it come to my life….do you?” She kept her hand at her sides, while each breath was deeper than the last, causing her well proportioned chest to rise. War’s eyes darkened the moment she asked, lowering his gaze to her chest, he quickly lifted them taking a hard swing to the metal.

“That isn’t necessary” Growling through each pound he pushed out, covering up his eyes flickering. Sounds of her lips licking on made his orbs flicker faster to her being.

“You said you wanted to make me armor to protect me better, how is that possible if you haven’t the right fit.” He knew she wasn’t truly asking, but more or less testing him completely in his comfort in what he shouldn’t know about her body. The hammer crashed into the plate making her body jump to the sudden sound.

War turned his whole self upon her own, towering over what he could of sworn was her trying to look intimidating and unnerved. Lowering his head to meet her squarely, War’s words deepened to a rumble.

“Do you not trust my judgement on your figure? Or is it you wish for me to know just exactly how fitting you are under such coverings?” Holding a smirk was harder than War thought it should've been, her blushed cheeks reddened so rapidly he’d be damned if she didn’t haul off and smack him now.

“Feel free to make up whatever suits you best, just don’t get me killed in the process.” Grabbing her wrist before her feet could make the full turn to leave, War pressed her back to a cooled stone wall, its shadows concealed any peeping eyes that maybe snooping about. Keeping Siana in place was simple as she didn’t fight to free herself like so many time before, but instead locked eyes with his own challenging him to continue. War moved gently parted lips to her right ear, still keeping one eye on her own while speaking.

“Under no circumstance would I allow you to die Siana, but if you want comfort in the work I do, then I am more than willing to feel any flaws I’ve made against your body.” His free hand pulled at her belt, each shake he gave it loosened it allowing her held tops to fall more naturally around her figure. She kept eye contact, but her reacting pupils told War everything he did and didn’t need to know.

Dipping his hand under her layed shirts, War moved over Siana’s hip keeping his fingers sprawled out to cover the most ground on soft skin. Each pad of fingertips felt curves of silk, as he continued to move over her toned stomach. His thumb made a swipe over the lower part of her rib cage, feeling her muscle shift under the more sensitive skin.

Around to her back and spin, gave Siana a chance to relax more. She was tensing up more and more to his hands growing closer to a rapid beating chest. War took a mental not to each muscle she’d build along her backside, they were sleeker than his own, but no less powerful.

Over her shoulder and down the length of her side, War watched as she fidgeted under his gaze. Slowly moving his lips back toward her ear, he gave as much reassurance as someone like himself could.

“Breath” It rumbled protectively, the calling to his beast awaking to her rapidly growing heart rate, to which could of sounded more of a frightened prey. Siana’s eyes closed while his hand dragged back up her side. Placing his hand over her heart, he felts its beating pulse, each thump stirring the beast within him to full sense.

His idea was to give her time to adjust, however Siana had seemingly thought that to be more torment than a grace on his behalf. When she grabbed his hand and placed it on herself, War froze, his once ready nature to touch what he pleased was now frozen with shock. Her rise and fall didn’t seize to continue, but rather grew fiercer than ever. To a fingertip twitch Siana would hold her risen chest, filling his palm with more of what could only be called tempting fulfillment.

They both held their ground, unsure of what the other may do with any sudden movements. Siana could smell War’s beast awaken, her wonder of what stirred him awake was put onto a back burner while she faced War head on. He wasn’t moving, and the longer he held still the more she wondered if he was unsure of what aid this would do. A slow frown made its way across her lips, deciding to just be done with it all and allow him to do as he pleased would only hurry this along.

Pulling her somewhat restrained wrist from his grip, Siana pulled the bottoms of her layered shirt sides over her head. Her hair fell over the left of her breast while his hand sat on her right, raising her eyes to his now enlarged ones War gave a snarl.

“Are you mad” He barked under another snarl, the left of his hand pulling down a ragged piece of cloth to cover a window. Shifting to look out the doorway, his free hand snapped all fingers to palm. Siana watched with a new found interest to this motion as the doors hinges bent, closing the door as if magic was willing it closed. She blinked more to a set of bars used to hold a wooden plank twist till each one braced against the doors solidness, allowing not even a god to enter without permission.

Breaking her stare for the reasoning of his body pressing harder to her bare one, Siana looked up seeing only blacked out pupils.

“I thought sight would aid, I didn’t mean to…” Growling her off from a finnish, War grabbed her thigh pinning Siana to himself more than cold stone.

“You knew damn well what aid you were giving, do you think I do not see what you have? I see plenty of what traits have been blessed to you, do not flaunt them in hopes I will take you for myself.” Siana’s lip couldn’t stop from pulling over her extending fangs, a temper rose from ashes to War’s words.

“I flaunt nothing to you, and if it were so then there be absolutely no need to touch me...now would there” Shoving him away, Siana snorted grabbing her shirts with a growl to match his own.

“Then why do you show yourself if you say you flaunt nothing.” War stepped in front of her way, keeping her still from any who would try to enter. Abling them to see more than even she’d wish them to see. Frowning Siana held her clothes to her side, she noticed his eyes weren’t steady in their gaze with her own.

“You were frozen, I feared you’d shock on me and I don’t need that from the likes of you.” War took a heavy step towards her, its power caused Siana to take an involuntary step backwards. When he took another step, she did as well. Their repeat of this ended to Siana hitting her back against a tall beam the held one half of the roof. She looked over one shoulder at the cursed object, only to suck a deep lung full of air to both of War’s hands grabbing the underside of her backside.

“This what you prefer? that I control you fully when graced with the body laid before my very eyes?”  He wrapped her legs around his waist, using the beam to add in his leverage of holding Siana from escaping any further. Pressing both her hands against his opened shirt, Siana gulped realizing just how massive he was compared to her dainty self.

“I...I umm” War snarled sending earthquake waves against each pad of her fingers tips.

“You what?” Brushing his lips down the left of her jawline, giving her spine a shock of tingles it couldn’t control to a pushing of her chest towards his own.

Pushing Siana harder into that beam, her hands slipped to his shoulders giving them something to grip onto. She tried hard to keep her eyes locked to his own, but with War’s hands coming up on either side of her flesh, the dragging of his lips as he pulled them up and over extending canines Siana could barely hold down her pleasure.

She felt each tip of razor fury lick over her neck, shoulder and upper chest area. Heat from his tongue darted out to taste a few beads of sweat from her body heating to the irons level.

“You didn’t think I could smell you? Taste you...have you” Rocking her head back till the beam gave no more room, Siana bit her lip from moaning when his rising hands meet their targets. Each one taking a firm hold on her breast, needing while sending a pad of each thumb over already hardened tips. Nearly losing her hold to his tongue dipping between both, only to take one tip at a time hostage. Rolling taste buds only caused them to harder, giving her chest a quicker push into each swipe he brushed in teasing.

The move to her other, only ended in a breaking of her hold, a breathy moan blew out covered with nothing more than his matched growl. Siana could feel her legs shake, her hands already tugging at his hair, tightening with every sound of his tasting of her flesh.

But that wasn’t all she could feel, smell and immerse herself deeper into. War’s very way of bracing himself against her, was one that showered a protective dominant male, a figure she’d only heard about in whispers of passersby.

Rasping against the solid doors frame gave way to what proved Siana’s theory, as War let out a guarded snarl glaring both the door and its inhibitor to the pit of hell. His head snaked back around to stare conflicted into her own bewildered eyes, with a swipe of his hand War handed Siana her layers from the floor in which she’d dropped them. No less because of his hardy ways with her.
