"I can't believe you're dating two girls." Malik chuckled from the booth.

"I am not dating two girls." I denied and shove a fry in my mouth.

"But that is how it looks like."

"I am waiting for the right time to call it off." and that is true, I've been wanting to confess everything to Riley but I also have to respect Daisy's wish and wait until she is ready.

"KC... Are you sure?"

"I love Daisy. Until now, I realize she's the missing part," I assured.

He has no idea how much it feels finally having what I've been craving. Daisy is mine, she had agreed to be with me.

I've never experienced what cloud nine feels like until these past days. I could kiss her without feeling guilty she might hate me, I could hug her, care for her without getting frustrated by her confusion.

She was finally mine.

Okay, Malik and I had made amends, after what had happened I had called for his help in the hospital. And since we kept it away from Riley, I needed someone I could rely on, I know Kate was there but still, I felt it was best if he was around.

Last week Malik had helped me, he had stayed in the hospital the whole night, offering care and support to Daisy.

About Daisy, she's finally feeling better. But she still has a little headache. Yes, I should kill that bastard. I would've if my men hadn't come in and stepped in between. He almost killed her. He fucking wanted to kill her.

Daisy was discharged the next day after she had insisted. Well home, that day it was quite intense.

It was the reason Riley had barely shown concern for what had happened to Daisy even with the ace wrap around her head, Riley had ignored and kept her eyes on the tv.

Throughout the week I had help Daisy with the little I can do, I had brought her breakfast and dinner when Riley was out of sight.

And finally, now Daisy could go to school again.

I had considered adding more securities after what had happened last week but the cops had assured me it was of no use, Caden is on home arrest which I almost choke the officers for releasing that asshole after the attempted murder he should be locked up in jail forever, but it appears Daisy's father had met with the cops and dropped the charges.

How can a father be so careless? It was something I've never thought Kane would do, but of course, he drank and drove and hit an innocent girl. He can do anything else.

"I am happy for you," Malik said and I smiled.

Malik and I had agreed to take both girls to an outdoor cinema tonight. It was my idea though because I hoping I could have some alone time with Daisy since it was difficult back at home.

There'll be some romantic movie playing tonight, and most of the students from SU will be attending. So I feel like it's our chance.

All we needed was enough blanket because the weather is getting cold this early December.

"So we will be watching a movie outside in this weather?" Riley confoundedly shook her head from the sofa, she was wearing a sweatshirt and pants.

"Yes and I am sure you will love to see it again, it's the notebook." I force a smile at her.

"Oh my! Yes, I will, I wouldn't want bitches looking at you anyway." I get what the statements meant and who it was directed to since Daisy was sitting on the armchair across the room with a notebook on her lap, and a cute little reading eyeglass taking almost half of her face.

I had to swallow the bile in my throat and fake a smile when inside I wanted to scream and warn Riley to watch her fucking tongue.

"Good decision." I breathed and continue. "Malik would be going with Daisy and you and I would have a great time together."

Which is a lie, because all of this was arranged so Daisy and I could have some alone time, while Malik distracts Riley through the movie.

"Here at home? Sounds great." She drags my wrist but when my eyes meet Daisy's, she was staring at our hands, I yank off.

I had promised to give her love not pain and that's what I will do.

"No at the movies." I mentally roll my eyes and pull Riley up.

"Awn shame I thought we would get to nestle in bed and you know do things, dirty and wild." She whispered loud enough for Daisy to hear. "Oops, I shouldn't be saying that in front of Daisy. My bad." She pretends a sorry face.

"Is okay. You guys are cute together anyway." Daisy smiled small and avert her eyes to her notebook.

"I know right? That's what everyone says. We are meant to be together." She looped her arms around me and sigh. "That is what your mother said."

Oh cool, she thought if my mother was here she wouldn't be caring for Daisy. Well, she thought wrong because my parents were Daisy's godparents. And if I've told them I have her in my house, I am sure my mother would be adopting her right away just like they've always regretted the past years.

"Okay we should get going, the blankets are ready in the truck. And Cuppy is with Kane. Everything is good."

Since Kane had joined us that dog had been around him. Which if Riley had paid attention she could have suspected something. But grateful she didn't because I want no more trouble.

"Where is Malik? Shouldn't Daisy be riding with her date?" Riley shrugged.

I understand we are not being fair to her, which I wish I could end but these days Riley has been nothing but ride to Daisy and Kane. As it's so low of her. I thought she cared for her friend.

"We will meet him there," I announced and stepped away from her.

"We better, it sucks being the third wheel." She flashes a sly frown at Daisy, but luckily Daisy was a patience person, it makes me love her more.

My fingers came to the bridge of my nose. The pressure was getting high and high, I wonder what would happen if I don't end it. I need to do the right thing.

I can't stand Riley treating Daisy this way.

"I will change my shoes and meet you downstairs." Daisy stood and head towards the stairs.

"Let's go." Riley hung her arms around me and direct us to the exit.

The ride to the movies was nothing less than the tension back at home.

Riley had kept kissing and nibbling my neck while I drive.
She had brought up all the memories we had and narrated with the intention of tormenting Daisy the whole time.
