JONATHAN LOOK AT HIS uniform neatly folded on his bed as he came back from the bathroom,gone are the days he look forward to school,he regrets making the worst friends and also wished he never had met Joy,maybe just maybe nothing would have happened to her,he felt guilty for her death but he didn't know why? Why he felt so guilty for something inevitable

He took his uniform wearing them and doing the rest of his morning rituals,he went to the dining room to meet Anna slowly taking her breakfast and smiled at her,they ate silently before the trio left for school,Jonah was about entering the car when James hold his hand stopping him from entering the car and Jonah turned back to look at him

"What's up?" He asked

"Big bro,I know how you feel and I know it's hard on you but please,you have to keep going"James said and for the first time since Joy was pronounced dead,Jonah smiled genuinely

"Thanks lil bro"Jonah said ruffling his hair and James frown trying to make his hair look good again

They entered the car going to school and Jonah knew a lot had changed for him,he had lost his girlfriend and lost his two best friends,they were never truly a good friends from the start so that didn't bothered him much,they stepped out of the car and James ran after his friends while Anna stopped Jonah from walking further

"We have a lot to talk about"Anna said and Jonah nodded

"I know"he replied before they went their separate ways,he went to the class and all the students came to send their condolences,he was surprised that his mates knew he was dating Joy and also he didn't like their condolences proving further Joy is dead,he didn't want to believe it,he had a nagging feeling behind him that Joy is well and breathing

He went to his seat which he occupied with Dami, Dami wasn't in school yet and Jonah didn't mind,he never truly liked the boy and wondered why his sister decided to date him

He rested his head on his desk feeling weak, everyone went out for the assembly but he didn't,he remained in his class and slept off,till he heard the teacher came and the three classes they had they all talked about Joy disappearance,he almost snapped at them,they should stop saying she's gone,he didn't want to believe it and they had the guts! They had the guts to place her picture in the front of the class with a big italic RIP written on it,this were killing him,it was too much for him,he had never desire to rip out a picture like the way he feels right now but he didn't,he didn't do anything till the bell was rang for break period

He needed to see Ray and Gideon,he needed to congratulate them for succeeding in what ever they planned on doing and luckily for him as he pull out of the class he saw them leaning on the wall laughing with a junior students who went all shy,Jonah started bubbling how dare them laugh! How dare them look happy when Joy is gone! Joy! Oh Joy!

He went closer to them and on cue the junior student left and he look at his ex best friends and chuckled

"Congratulations Ray! Congratulations Gideon! You won! Joy is dead,now you guys are happy and Dorcas have woke up Mr lover boy,you girl is awake, whatever we had I knew you guys know for a long time now is gone"Jonah said Ray faced hardened

"You felt it right? That is what I felt when Dorcas was shot! You see how it feels,just because you think you're handsome and girls revolve around you doesn't mean you mean a shit,I don't wish the girl death I just wanted you to feel what I felt and sadly she was the pawn of the game"Ray said and Jonah got angry punching Ray on the face who in turn laughed wiping away a blood stain on his lips

"I hate you!"Jonah shouted before matching away and mistakenly hit Bisi who in turn he grabbed and pushed her to the floor,Bisi whimpered at the impact of the pain

"Best friend my ass!"Jonah yelled at her "I hope you're happy now,Joy is out of your way,out of your life,I hope you're satisfied"

"Who told you I want her dead!"Bisi yelled back and Jonah chuckled

"Isn't it obvious?"he said walking away

Anna met up with Jonah after texting him to meet up with her and had their discussion

Anna met Jonah throwing pebbles and she stood watching her twin brother,she knew Jonah wouldn't be thesame again it was obvious on his appearance,she cracked her throat to make her appearance noticed,Jonah turned to look at her and she gave him a weak smile

"You never told me you were dating Joy"Anna said starting a conversation,Jonah lean on the wall closing his eyes and his right foot also on the wall like he was remembering the old days

"Things were complicated then"Jonah replied

"Complicated? Joy didn't tell me anything too and we are best friends"Anna said

"I asked her not to let you know,it isn't her fault"

"What happened? I really wanna know"Anna said

"Initially I didn't plan on asking Joy out,it all started with a game,a game with Gideon and Raymond"

"A game?"

"Yes"

The three friends all bursted into laughter,Jonah fell on the floor laughing his life out

"You mean she did that?"he asked before bursting into another wave of laughter

"Dude! That girl is a Puta!"Gideon said and they all sobered up

"I heard something concerning you"Ray said giving Jonah a mischievous look

"What's that?"Jonah asked sitting back on Ray's bed he previously fell from

"Someone is in love with you,your sister's friend Joy"

"Joy? Who is Joy?"Jonah asked confused

"The fat one"Gideon said giggling and Jonah roll his eyes

"I don't think so,she's different from the rest"Jonah said and Ray gave Gideon a look before bursting into laughter

"See you! Ask her out na! You will know she's just like the rest"Gideon says

"Ask who out? I don't date o! I go fuck her up"Jonah said laughing

"Give it a try na! Prove us wrong and we will give you twenty thousand"Ray said

"It's too small na! Big boy like me twenty thousand? Let's make it fifty or anyone who loose will buy the latest Balenciaga shoe for the winner"Jonah suggested and they nodded in unison

"What the hell?!"Anna literally yelled "you mean you never liked her?"

"That's not it,that's where everything started,we started off being friends and everything just clicked I started liking Joy and days came she clouded my thoughts,it felt like my world revolves around her and I wanted to keep her,I didn't tell you initially because you warned me to stay away from your friends"Jonah said and Anna sighed

"What happened after?"

"Raymond and Gideon started black mailing me when they find out I fell in love with Joy"

"Black mail you? With what?"Anna asked getting confused

"You remember Dorcas right? The girl everybody knew had an accident"

"Of course I know Dorcas,what does she have to do with this,the incident happened when we were in SS1"

"What happened is I was responsible for what happened to Dorcas and they used it against me,they wanted me to stop my relationship with Joy if not they will leak the secret, initially I didn't mind them before they involved you"

"Involved me?"she asked her brows quirking

"Yes! They wanted to do to you what happened to Dorcas and i choose family! I can't bare to see anything happen to you and I stopped talking to Joy,I left her in the relationship and all she did was beg,she plead for me to talk to her and I never did"Jonah said free tears falling from his eyes and Anna hugged him immediately crying along side with her twin

"So? You never got to talk to Joy did you?"Anna asked and Jonah shook his head

"That's not all Anna,you have to know about Bisi too,I warned Joy about her but she never yield to what I said"Jonah said and Anna gave her brother a look

"What do you mean?"

"Bisi is part of them Anna,she was black mailing me too she wanted me to date her and gave herself to me once but I didn't want her,she continued her selfish act and almost got you involved"Jonah said and Anna's eyes widen placing her palm on her mouth

"What do you mean almost got me involved?"Anna asked

"She tried to black mail Martha to do something to you,to try having sex with you and video it so that she can have that against me"

"I can't believe this,you mean Bisi is part of this?"Anna asked and Jonah nodded "how come I'm just getting to know all this?! So I have been blind all along!"

"Johanna calm down!"Jonah said but Anna shook her head

"I'm not calming down! I'm not calming down at all! How dare her! Oh poor Joy!"Anna said running away from her brother to look for Bisi

She went inside the class and met Bisi sitting on her desk going through her phone,she grabbed her hand to gain her attention

"What's the meaning of this?"Bisi asked and Anna gave her a resounding slap

"How dare you?! How dare you Bisi! I thought we were best friends! I thought we will always look out for each other! I thought we are the three musketeers! How dare you do this to Joy?! She didn't deserve it at all,she had being nothing but a good friend to you"Anna yelled bursting into tears

"Who told you?"Bisi asked calmly

"You're asking me who told me?"Anna asked chuckling without humour "listen to yourself Bisi,she's thesame girl that covered up for you when you got pregnant in Jss3"the class gasped after hearing this "she's thesame girl that tries to put your shit together! She's thesame girl that confronted your mom when she beats you! She's thesame girl that took blames for things you do! She's thesame girl that got slapped because of you! She's thesame girl that got bullied because she stood up for you! Ever thought about those times before doing those things to her?! You're nothing Bisi but a devil you're nothing but an ingrate! Whatever friendship we had ended this moment,I know you no more!"

After finishing her short speech she ran out of the class crying and Desmond ran after her hugging her,her body gave up on her and she fell on Desmond crying bitterly

"We had wronged her! We had wronged her so much and it's so painful she's not around to take our apologies, because that's our punishment,to live on with the guilt"Anna said before black dot covered her eyes loosing consciousness
