Good morning and here is the breaking news Mr Akinde Adekunle George who is contesting for the mayor of Lagos State of Nigeria,who has a head on on the current campaign going on has had a video released against him,a video showing how animalistisc he is and beats his wife Mrs Adekunle Toyin and the woman was recently admitted in the hospital for the beating which he covers up with the doctor treating her,this viral video release had caused chaos in the city of Lagos,it's said the man is slowly loosing his supporters because they feel he is not fit to be a leader

Bisi watched the news giggling,she stood up and went to the fridge grabbing an orange juice which she sat taking slowly,she suddenly felt a present and her mom entered the sitting room walking up and down with her fingers on her mouth,she look at Bisi but Bisi pretended she didn't see her

"Bisi first of all who recorded that video and sent it out to the public?"her mother finally asked standing at her front

"Are you trying to accuse me?"Bisi asked frowning dropping her juice

"I don't know Bisi! All I do know is that hell will let loose if your dad enters this house today,I'm scared I don't know how I'm going to defend us"her mother said break down and Bisi shrugged

"You can try defending yourself not me"Bisi said leaving the sitting room,she decided to leave the house and have her head cool down before facing her father's wrath,she knew what she just done will cause her pains but this is just the beginning,if she's going down the man is going down with her

She changed from the bumshort she was wearing,wearing a black trouser on a sky blue top,she took her phone and head phone heading out of her room when she heard her mom making call and stood by the door eavesdropping

"I don't know what to do Queen"her mother said sounding worried

"You know George than anything and you know the reason I stick with him like this,I have to provide a better future for Purity,she's all I got"her mother said and she frown

"No no no! She can't find out,she can't!"her mom said and she wondered what her mom is hiding from her "I won't ever let her find out George is not her real dad,how will I explain it Queen,how will I explain I don't know the father of my child,you know George took me in like that and had provided the best education for her,I just want her to graduate from a good university and have a great job before starting her own life and you know I can't do it alone"

Bisi covered her mouth with her palm immediately she heard this falling on the floor and tried the muffling her sob,she sat on the floor for nearly thirty minutes crying and she can't believe the person she knew all her life as her dad isn't her dad, she stood up from the floor wiping her tears away and decided to walk to Joy's house to clear her head

"Joy!"Ruth called and Joy groggily stood up from her bed,she was feeling dizzy but tried to keep her eyes open

"Yes mummy"she replied going downstairs to meet Ruth who was already dressed for going out

"I wanted to buy something from the super market and I want you to tag along"Ruth said and Joy nodded,she didn't want her Nana finding out she's not healthy

"Okay"she said wearing her slippers,she was already dressed in a sky blue jeans trouser and a singlet,the super market isn't that far and she didn't mind changing her dress

They left the house after Ruth succeeded locking the door,they were walking on the road when Joy's eyes started getting blur,her steps started slowing down

"What's wrong with you?"Ruth asked and she shakes her head

"I'm fine just a slight headache"she lied

"Do you want to go back home?"Ruth asked

"Let's go"Joy said forcing a smile

She wasn't able to see clearly and black dot started filling her eyes,she tried walking but her body failed her and she suddenly slumped on the floor,Ruth shouted throwing the bag she was holding on the floor trying to carry Joy who was heavier than her

Bisi who was walking saw Ruth on the floor shouting before her eyes landed on the figure on the floor,she removed her ear piece immediately running towards them

"Ma'am what happened?"she asked after seeing Joy's unconscious body

"I don't know,please I need your help,just go to the house and call the driver out for me,tell him Joy fainted please"Ruth said and Bisi nodded running to Joy's house

She opened the gate and went inside seeing the Driver quietly sitting on the bench drinking water and she rushed over to him,she told him what happened and the man got worried immediately,he went to the car and Bisi opened the gate for him and rushed to meet Ruth

The driver came down helping them to carry the unconscious body of Joy from the floor taking her inside the car and they rushed right to the hospital

Joy was taking to the emergency ward immediately and Bisi decided to call Anna and told her even though she knew they aren't in good terms

"Hello Anna"Bisi said as soon as Anna picked the call

"What's up?"Anna asked

"Joy fainted and she's rushed to the hospital"

"What! what happened to her?"Anna asked getting worried,Jonah who was stepping out of his room heard Anna's voice going closer to her

"Just come"Bisi said ending the call and Anna turn to look at Jonah

"Joy fainted"Anna said and Jonah got scared immediately

"What?!"

"She's in the hospital"Anna said and Jonah look around looking for the car key,he saw it and took it immediately

"We should go"He said and they practically ran out of the house

Jonah safely arrived at the hospital and met Bisi and Ruth standing together,he gave Bisi the bad eye before rushing over to meet Ruth

"What happened to her?"he asked and Ruth swallowed her tears

"The doctor said she haven't been eating well and now her health is at risk,she has chronic fatigue and it's dangerous,I cook for her and I don't know she haven't been feeding,I'm a bad mother"Ruth said bursting into tears and Anna wrapped her hands around her immediately feeling guilty,she remembered the different times Joy tried talking to her and she ignored her

Jonah's phone start ringing and he saw it was Martha and went to a corner to receive the call

"Have you been able to settle your differences with Joy?"Martha asked

"No,I was planning on visiting her and I heard news of her being admitted in the hospital"

"What!"Martha said and Jonah close his eyes remembering the talk he had with Martha

"What! You mean you didn't tell Joy any of this and you say you love her?"Martha yelled

"I was scared and I didn't want her to get involved,I feel ashame telling her I knew what happened to Dorcas"Jonah replied placing his face on his palm feeling slight headache

"That's not an ideal way to handle this, you know the girl have been sad and I know she's confused about your sudden change of character"Martha said walking up and down "I'm no Saint I know but I don't purposely hurt anyone"

"Tell me what to do, let's get to the point"Jonah said sniffing,he didn't realize how much he misses Joy

"First of all you have to visit her and explain everything to her including Dorcas,she has the right to know"Martha said

"What if she rejects me"

"That's your cross to carry Jonah! But you have to heal the poor girl,you can't continue keeping this a secret from her and we all make mistakes,make her happy please"

"Okay,I will do that during the weekend,I will visit her and tell her about everything"Jonah says

"Good!"Martha replied smiling

"We will talk later"Jonah said ending the call and went back to meet only Bisi and Anna standing

"Where is Miss Ruth?"Jonah asked

"She was called inside"Anna replied and Jonah nodded

They all stood outside waiting for Ruth who came back awhile later

"The doctor said you can see her one after the other"Ruth said sniffing

"I will go first"Bisi and Jonah said at once and Jonah gave Bisi the bad eye before entering the ward

He went inside and met Joy on the bed like she was sleeping with oxygen mask on her and all the wires around makes him sick with the sound of her heart beat,he sat on a chair beside her bed and took her hand,her hands were so cold and feels so dead

He tried swallowing the tears in his eyes but he couldn't,it was overbearing for him and he bursted out crying

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I was only trying to keep you safe but I did it in the wrong way,I'm sorry for all the pain I caused you,I know I'm wrong but please just get better please"he said and stood up placing her hand back on the right position

"I love you so much,I really do I don't care about what people says but I see a future in you"Jonah said and lean over kissing her forehead then her cheek before moving the oxygen mask away kissing her lips and left the room without turning to look at her again

Anna came in right after sobbing,she took her hand crying,she cried and cried before chuckling without humour

"You know I'm the world worst best friend, Desmond warned me,he asked me to talk to you but I refuse because of my selfish anger,I should have listened to you and ask you why are you dating my brother without letting me know but you know,I'm stupid to stupor"she said sniffing "you're my sister and you will always be,just get better so that I can receive my punishment from you, alright?"she stood up leaving the room before Bisi came in

"I don't wish you death Joy,I don't we have been friends for long and the only thing you did wrong was loving what I love and taking it away from me,I caused the separation between you and Jonathan,I always knew you two were together and love eachother but I can't stand it,I want Jonathan to my self and that want and love slowly change to hatred and I just wanted to separate you guys even if we don't end up together,I gave you wrong advice"Bisi said wiping a tear away "I don't regret them Joy I don't,I just wish you quick recovery"she said leaving the room too

With the confession each and everyone of them made,Joy slowly removes her oxygen mask bursting into tears before her Nana came inside

"I have made my decision Nana!"she says and her Nana embraces her while she cried on her arms

Jonah and Anna decided to leave,on their way going Jonah's phone started ringing and saw it was Dorcas' mom,he swallowed thinking about the worst before going to a lone place picking the call

"Dorcas just woke up"he heard and it felt his world stopped
