DAMI WENT THROUGH HIS phone for the tenth time before angrily swinging it on the bed,he groan and yelled pushing the wall startling the sleeping figure of Rachael,he quickly went to her side and rub her back making her to sleep deeper once more

His phone suddenly start ringing making him to stand up immediately and fetch for his phone,he smiled widely when the person he had being expecting his call called

"Paul"he acknowledged as soon as he picked the call

"We found Lanre"Paul said and Dami's body tensed immediately

"How sure you're?"Dami asked

"I have a very good informant,he just told me he saw him with his goons and whores at Eko club"

"If that's true we need to get there now,inform the other guys"Dami said hastily

"I will but there's one problem,the club is full of security and non of us can stand by to watch the car because Lanre's goons are too much of a trouble"

"Just get the guys ready I will find solution to that,we are leaving in less than an hour"Dami said ending the call

He started pacing up and down thinking about what he can do when an idea suddenly strike his brain,Anna promise to help him anyway she could and she should be able to ride a car and securely take them away

He quickly dialled Anna's contact,Anna who is busy watching a movie on her laptop dropped her laptop when she started feeling sleepy,she wanted to go to bed and her phone suddenly rings

"Hello"she said yawning

"Babe, what's up?!"Dami said and Anna look at the time,it's past eleven

"I'm fine,why calling at this time?"she asked

"Well I need your help"as soon as Dami said this, Anna's heart beat hastened in a split of a second thinking about what might be wrong with him for him to ask for her help at this time of the night

"With?"she asked

"I found out my dad is currently in a club and I need to see him,I need someone to ride me back"Dami said and Anna got confused

"Why visiting someone at this ungodly hour and why should I drive you back?"Anna asked

"It's a long story and I can't start explaining now if I want to meet him"

"I don't have driving license and I'm still a learner,I'm not that good I haven't drove a car in the city before"

"I don't care,I only need your help please"

"Dami the timing is wrong,how do you expect me to leave the house by this time when my parents are sleeping right at the corner"

"You promised to help me anyway you can and right now that I need the help you're going back on your words"

"Stop making me feel guilty Damilola! The timing is wrong,you have to consider my safety too"

"Then you never liked me enough!"Dami said huffing,he was really getting angry at Anna

"I like you a lot,that's why I forgive you for what you did so don't use that against me"

"Please I need you, Johanna I need you more than anything right now"Dami said in a breaking voice breaking Anna's heart,she felt like she was too mean to him

"Okay,I heard you what do you want me to do?"Anna asked and Dami's face lit up,now he knows what to use to get Anna

"Find a way to leave the house and wait for me at the gate,I will be there soon"

"Okay"Anna replied ending the call,she switched off her phone and kept it beneath her pillow,she changed her night gown into a wash blue jeans trouser on a white round neck shirt,she wore a white head warmer before starting her escape plan

She arranged her bed and quietly locked the door behind her,she tiptoed into the living room and luckily for her no one was around,she slowly open the door and close it behind her rushing to get to the gate when the gateman suddenly came outside

"Small madam where are you going?"the gate man asked startling Anna and she stopped walking immediately,she rushed over to the gateman giving him the stink eye

"If you tell anybody that I left the house by this time I will personally poison your food"Anna said and the man's eyes went wide,he quickly believed what she said and step aside for her

"But small madam,be careful o time don go and make you return quick quick I go open gate for you"

"That's why I like you"Anna said smiling "don't worry I have something for when the morning comes"

"Thank you"the gateman replied and opened the gate for Anna,Anna stepped out of the house and suddenly felt cold, in less than a minute a car parked at her front and Dami came out of it,he was wearing all black and look lavishing

"Thanks babe"he said and went over to hug her,Anna rolled her eyes and muttered 'what can I do',Dami lean over and kiss her

Her eyes fell on the car again and saw other guys wearing exactly what Dami was wearing and got confused

"I thought you were going to see your dad,what are your louts doing here?"Anna asked

"I told you to stop calling them louts,they're my friends and back bone"Dami said pushing Anna towards the car

"Where is Rachael?"Anna asked and stopped walking

"She's with my neighbor"Dami replied shrugging and Anna got a little scared,she's not sure what Dami is up to

"Be frank with me,what are you going to do?"Anna asked getting scared and Dami got angry

"You're wasting my time Anna,you either get in the car or go back inside,you question me too much after promising to help me"Dami said and Anna's head fell on her shoulder

"I'm sorry I just don't want anything to happen to you"

"Nothing will happen to me"Dami replied and pushed her inside the car,the other guys decided not to say a word while Dami ignited the car engine roaring the car to life before speeding away in the empty street of Lagos, Anna's heart beat accelerated with the car's motion,she was scared and for the first time in her life she had never left the house midnight

Her heart almost stopped working when she saw one of the guys bringing out a gun and cleaning it with handkerchief

"What are you going to do!"Anna suddenly yelled out of fear and Dami gave the guy with the gun a stink eye

"Relax babe"Dami replied and Anna was too scared and confused to talk,she started praying in her mind for God to rescue her,she had never done something like this

The car suddenly came to a stop and the guys got out of the car,Anna suddenly noticed she's grabbing the car seat very hard and slowly release her hand

"Hey baby!"Dami called and Anna raise up her head to meet him in the eye "I know you have never done something like this before and I know how energy draining to witness how my world is but I need you,I need your support and I need you by my side,I love you"Anna's eyes went wide

"You love me?"she asked her heart beating very fast

"I do,I really do that's why I needed you beside me"Dami replied and Anna nodded,Dami smiled when he saw the atmosphere got lighter "so you will be sitting down here and you will wait for me and the guys to come back and as soon as we enter the car you ride us away"

"To?"

"I will give you directions when it's time"

"I told you I'm not a good rider"

"Yeah I know it doesn't matter,just get us out of here hmm? Will you?"he asked and Anna nodded yes

"I love you"Dami said and lean over kissing her before stepping out of the car to follow his goons

Dami entered the building with his guys and looked for a way to get to the VIP section,the vipers fight with some of the huge guys at the security post and they won gaining access into the VIP section, Dami's eyes got darker when he saw his dad talking with another man who had a whore on his lap while his dad had a drink on his had and two ladies sitting at his side while the other was standing behind him massaging his shoulder,he got furious when he remembered how many times the man use his mom,beat her and still cheat on her,he remembered all the tears his mother shed before he felt an hand on his right shoulder

"Calm down"Paul whispered to him and he nodded,he raise his gun to the roof shooting upward gaining the attention of everyone in the room,the room got scattered and their opponents start firing gun,The vipers fired theirs too with Dami's solid aim on his dad and he was angry three men were busy protecting him,he got angry and charge forward his carelessness results on a gun being fired on his shoulder and he stumbled backward before regaining his stand

He rushed over to the three guys and fight ensued,he beat them up and finally got to his dad,he punched his dad on the face three time before shouting at him

"You think you can go free after killing my mom! I don't mind becoming like you to get what I want!"he shouted hitting his dad again who returned the favour and soon enough they were surrounded and fight ensued

They suddenly heard the police siren and everywhere got scattered

"To the car!"Dami yelled and his men nodded running away when Paul was suddenly shot on his leg "till another day Lanre"Dami whispered to his dad before rushing over to help Paul

He lifted him on his shoulder and ran away from the building

Anna whose finger was busy shaking out of fear got scarier when she heard the police siren,she got scared and knew things got messy inside the building because she can hear gun shots,she suddenly saw Dami's men running out of the building inside the car and she quickly ignited the car to life when she suddenly saw Dami and another one of his member on his shoulder bleeding out blood from his leg and Dami from his shoulder,she gasped and turned the car in a swift move and Dami got inside immediately with Paul

The police saw them and started shooting gun at them when Dami yelled "faster!"she hit the acceleration pad with her leg with full force as she speed away from the building

Dami directed her to where she should stopped and luckily enough for them the police missed them,they dropped out of the car attending to Dami and Paul while Anna stands at one side looking at them and suddenly got angry

"What's the damn meaning of that?!"Anna yelled "were you trying to get me killed or what?"

"Relax Anna!"Dami said before wincing in pain

"Relax my foot! I thought this only happens in movies,I never thought I'd experience it myself, it was so freaky scary I got so much scared especially when I saw the police and imagined what I'm going to tell my parents if I got caught"Anna said angrily and Dami hugged her while she bursted into tears

"I'm sorry"Dami said in a soft voice

"Just take me home"Anna said and Dami nodded,he took Anna inside the car and ride her home,she stepped out of the car and knocked on the gate,the gate man opened the gate for her and she silently prayed non of her parents catches her,she slowly and quietly open the door to the sitting room hoping everyone is still asleep when she saw the most shocking scene of her life

"Where are you coming from young lady?"her father asked
