ANNA AND THE REST of her family were busy having fun during the holiday break,she was having chitchat with her family when she suddenly noticed that Jonah is no where to be found,she left the presence of her family and went to search Jonah in his room,she knocked on the door but no one answered her and she gently pushed the door open only to meet Jonah on his phone

Jonah who wasn't so happy about the trip was laying on his bed, normally Jonah always find it fun leaving the country but right now he felt awful especially after what happened between him and Joy,he didn't feel complete and he wasn't happy,he decided to distract himself from thinking too much and search for his phone which he found on the floor,he took it and went through his social media accounts and still he wasn't well distracted,he unconsciously open his gallery and started going through Joy's picture,he smiled while seeing the pictures remembering how he took most of the pictures without the awareness of Joy. He suddenly felt like painting when his eyes captured one of the pictures were Joy was trying to drag her skirt down while the breeze took it up,he found the picture amusing and wanted to paint it when he suddenly felt his door open

"Hey!"Anna said sitting at the other side of his bed and he quickly locked his phone placing it carefully beside him

"What's up?"he asked and Anna smiled

"What's wrong with you?"

"Me?! Do I look like something is wrong with me?"Jonah asked back frowning

"Well you haven't been yourself and I'm not happy about that"

"I'm fine"

"Stop giving me that bullshit! You know I know you more than you know yourself"Anna said and heaved "whatever is wrong with you please work on it,I love the playful and cheerful Jonathan more than this gloomy one"

"Thanks"Jonah said standing up and also dragging Anna out his room,he sigh after he succeeded making sure to lock his door

Bisi threw the purse she was holding on the bed and slumped on it right after,she groan and stretched yawning while curling into a ball,she suddenly heard a knock on her door

"Come in!"Bisi said and the door open revealing her cousin sister Bola

"Bola,what's up?!"Bisi said sitting down and patting a place beside her for her to sit down

"You have been out since morning"Bola replied sitting beside her

"Yeah,I had some things to do,so what's up? It's odd seeing you in my room"Bisi said and chuckled

"Well I need your help"Bola said fidgeting with the hem of her dress

"What's that?"Bisi asked

"I want to leave this state,I really want to come over to Lagos and live with you guys and I need your help to convince dad to let me stay with you guys"Bola said and Bisi laughed

"What do you think Lagos is, paradise?"Bisi asked and Bola looked away,she always wanted to go to that city

"Please,help me"Bola said and Bisi nodded

"I will try and see what I can do,maybe you can join us on our promotion to SS3"Bisi said and Bola's face lit up

"Thank you so much"she hugged Bisi

"Yeah yeah yeah!"Bisi said patting her back before they suddenly heard a knock on the door

"Uncle"Bisi said smiling and her uncle smiled back

"She have been disturbing you,I know I'm not wrong"her uncle said and Bola groan

"Dad!"she lamented and stood up "I will join the others"Bola stood up and lock the door behind her

"How are you?"her uncle asked

"I'm fine,I just came back from Aunt Shola's house"Bisi said and her uncle sit beside her

"Well how are her children,it's been awhile I saw them"

"They're fine and happy to see me,it's been awhile"Bisi replied and her uncle nodded

"So how does it feels to be away from your dad?"Her uncle asked and she swallowed

"Great so far,it feels good not been waked up in the middle of the night for something you don't want to do"

"Yeah that's reminds me,how did you plan on pursuing your plans"

"Well I don't really know,I do know my dad have to pay for destroying my life,he expose me to a life I'm not suppose to know in such a young age"Bisi said wiping a lone tear away

"I know how you feel and I can't think of doing such to Bola,I get irritated whenever I hear what my elder brother does but don't worry I'm with you and I don't want you to get hurt"

"Thank you uncle but I won't get hurt"

"I do have some of the evidence you need that might help you,I just hope I'm doing the right thing helping you to put my brother behind bars,it felt like I'm betraying but I also feel it's time to tame the monster in him"

"Thank you uncle and what are those evidence?"Bisi asked her attention at the peek

"Well my brother was caught raping a teenager of about fifteen years when we were younger, initially I didn't believe it,I thought it was a lie because the girl is too young but the evidence was so obvious and can't be denied"

"How old was he then?"Bisi asked gulping

"He was twenty seven then and I think he met your mom two years later"

"Twenty seven?! And he rape a fifteen years old girl? Oh no! What's wrong with him?"Bisi said loosing her cool

"I don't know what's wrong with him but I always knew his hormones are not normal, they usually work when he sees little girls"her uncle said shaking his head out of pity

"What happened to the girl and what did the law did about him?"Bisi asked

"Well,your dad had always been known to be successful right from when he was a kid because of his intelligence in the business world and by twenty seven he was already making tenths of million and he was able to buy his way out,you know Nigerian police and the way they are"her uncle said rubbing his temples

"What about the girl?"Bisi asked not more able to control the tears spilling from her eyes anymore

"A statement was made against her"

"What statement?"

"She agreed to have sex with your dad willingly and your dad didn't know she was underaged and due to the fact she was pregnant and needed her parents not to blame her for what happened,she lied against your dad"

"What?! Pregnant! Where's the child?"Bisi asked

"She died with the child"

"Died?!"

"She killed herself out of embarrassment"

"Not only is he a rapist,he is also a murderer!"Bisi said bursting into tears

"I'm sorry for telling you all this"

"I'm grateful really"she said wiped away her tears

"This is one of the reason I don't want Bola to follow you to Lagos,I hope you understand cause I can't stand the fact that I actually had hands in destroying my daughter's life"

"I understand"Bisi said sniffing

"Okay I will leave you alone to get some rest"Her uncle said standing up and she smiled at him while he leaves her to dwell on her own world

Bisi finished packing her stuffs in her bag,she can't believe the holiday already went so quickly and she had to go back to Lagos and resume school on Monday,she pushed her bag to the corner when Bola creep inside the room

"I can't believe you're already leaving"Bola said slumping on her bed

"Well the holiday wasn't long enough"Bisi replied sitting beside Bola

"Yeah it wasn't and please I need you to really try and convince dad"

"I will"Bisi said giving her false promise,she understands what her uncle means and she will be so damn letting her favourite cousin sister go through thesame thing she's going through

"Thanks babe,you're the best!"Bola said laughing and Bisi chuckled

After several minutes of talking about random and useless things,Bola decided to give Bisi her privacy before she leaves

Bisi took her phone calling doctor while she lay on her back on her bed

"It's odd seeing you calling me,do you miss me that much?"doctor said as soon as he picks the call chuckling while Bisi rolls her eyes

"Cut the crap doc! I'm not here to play with you and like I said earlier I have the evidence to destroy you so be careful of the kinds of words you use with me"Bisi replied and Doctor's heart skipped a bit

"What do you want?"he asked

"Now you're talking"Bisi said laughing "well I'm coming back to Lagos today and I need your help"

"To?"

"You once told me you had evidence against my dad and you can bring him down whenever you want"

"Yeah I did"

"Are you saying the truth?"

"Yeah"

"Good! I need you to gather the evidence doc,I think I will partner with you this time around to bring the man down"

"Are you sure you wanna go against your dad?"Doctor asked chuckling,he believed Bisi was too small for what she was saying then he suddenly remembered how easy it was for the girl to threaten her and he gulped,Bisi is not who they think she is anymore and she's not stopping at anything other than getting what she wants

"Damn sure and you're going to help me"

"What's my gain?"He decided to act like a business man,he knew age doesn't matter when it comes to maturity and it's obvious Bisi had grew more than her age because she was exposed to life early

"You get to expose my dad like the way you wanted"she replied shrugging nonchalantly

"Well what's in after that?"he asked and Bisi chuckled

"I will forgive you for everything you had done to me"Bisi replied and Doctor smiled widely happy he is off the hook "you know I once trusted you and you misused the trust, don't let me regret this"

"I won't I promise"he replied happily he felt like he was killing two birds with one stone

"Good"Bisi replied ending the call,she tossed her phone on the bed before muttering "fool!"

She stood up and went outside to meet her uncle and his family,she hugged them goodbye and thanked them for having her over,her uncle ride her to the park after giving her all the evidence she needs to avenge for herself and the poor innocent soul that killed herself out of embarrassment

She waved her uncle goodbye as she enters the bus,the ride to Lagos was smooth and she was happy to start the new term because this time around she's not going to be anyone's pawn, people are going to act like the way she wanted and every soul who made her feel pains are going to pay

She closed her eyes satisfied as sleep took her away knowing a new beginning is here for her and she's willing to take it with all the risk involved
