ANNA STIR IN HER SLEEP and felt a body next to her and a hand wrapping around her,she opened her eyes immediately turning around to meet Dami at the other side of the bed. She then remembered everything that vaguely happened between them the previous night.

She lay on her elbow looking at the angelic face of Dami and chuckled to herself,she felt lucky for being in a relationship with someone like him and slowly trace his features with her hands making Dami to stir on his sleep,she removed her hand immediately but Dami hold her hand placing it back on it previous position

"I like it"he muttered and Anna smiled before she remembered that Dami slept in her room and she need to get him out before anybody find out someone else is in the house

"I need to go out and make sure everywhere is clear so that you can head home"Anna said and Dami nodded,she stood up from the bed wearing her flipflop "you can use my bathroom"she walk out of the room making sure to lock the door behind her

She went straight to the kitchen and met Tara cooking which surprised her "where is mom?"she asked

"She have to leave early with dad to attend some business issues"Tara replied and Anna nodded grabbing a plate for two and Tara looked at her warily "I'm very hungry"she said smiling at Tara who nodded believing her before she left the kitchen

She went back into her room to meet Dami naked except from her towel lingering on his waist and another small one he was using to clean his head,Anna gulped and look away placing the plates on the bed

"I brought you breakfast"Anna said and he smiled down at Anna

"Thanks"he replied pulling his trouser up before sliding his shirt in

They ate silently and Anna thought about the way Dami can leave the house without being caught but luckily for her no one was lingering around and they made it outside

"Thank you"Dami said tucking his hands on his trouser and Anna smiled

"You're welcome,see you in school on Monday"Anna said and Dami nodded walking away

Anna went back into the house to meet Jonah glaring holes at the back of her head

"Don't tell me he slept in this house"Jonah said and Anna rolled her eyes trying to walk away but Jonah shoved her back "you better answer me!"

"What if he did?"Anna asked

"Don't tell me you already start having sex"Jonah asked his eyes going wide

"Fuck no! I'm too young for that Jonah and I know that,I know all the teaching mummy gave us so I'm not so stupid having sex at this age"Anna replied and Jonah blew out a sigh of relief

"Why did he spent the night here then,what if mummy found out?"he asked

"That's my mistake Jonah and it's not happening again"Anna said

"Promise me you will never stoop so low having sex before eighteen"Jonah said and Anna smiled

"I promise!"she said and Jonah pull his sister into a hug

"Are you dating him?"Jonah asked and Anna left his embrace immediately

"You are asking too much questions today"Anna replied a smile tugging at her lips, Jonah's eyes went wide before narrowing it at Anna

"He needs an earful from me"Jonah said and Anna bursted out laughing

"Big bro!"she mocked running inside the house before Jonah could reply

Dami walk back home pushing the door to his house open,he sighed and dropped on the bed making a mental note to retrieve Rachael later when he feels alright,he close his eyes asleep half way when he heard a knock on his door.he grumbled standing up to get the door and met unexpectedly Martha standing on the door way

"What are you doing here?"he asked menacingly and Martha chuckled

"You haven't ask about me for awhile now and I decided to pay a visit"she said and Dami gave her a once over,she was wearing a red short gown slitted at the front to her mid thigh

"Come in"Dami said making way for her to come through,she enter inside the house sitting on the bed and Dami joined her "I wasn't expecting you"

"Sure you weren't,you haven't been asking about me for awhile now"Martha said

"I'm so sorry babe"Dami said smiling down at her,Martha stood on her knees going closer to Dami and kissed him. Dami and Martha had agreed to be friends with benefits both not ready to fully commit into eachother

Dami kissed Martha back drawing her closer to himself,they fell on the bed with Dami on top and Martha beneath. They kissed fervently and soon enough Martha's red gown was thrown around the corner and Dami's black shirt thrown near the door. The make out session continued and they soon got naked

"I'm never taking you out on a date again"Jonah joked as he stood up brushing the sand in his trouser,Joy stood up imitating him

"I never begged you to"Joy said smirking and Jonah narrowed his eyes at her

"Really?"he asked and Joy nodded,Jonah took a quick step towards her tickling her and she started laughing

"Jonah stop it!"she shouted and he did "God! That was hilarious"

"Sure it was ice-cream?"Jonah asked and Joy nodded holding Jonah's hand. they went inside the cafeteria ordering for ice-cream of different flavours before sitting on the sit far by near the window

"Today was fun"Joy said laughing and Jonah nodded smiling at her

"Don't worry we will go on more dates"Jonah said and Joy giggled like a child

"Thought you said you ain't taking me out on dates anymore"

"Don't make me regret what I just said"Jonah joked and they both laughed

"So gonna celebrate your birthday?"Joy asked

"Not really,I don't have plan for that"

"Anyways you're still a small boy,just going to be sixteen"Joy joked and Jonah narrowed his eyes at her

"I'm still four months other than you"Jonah said smirking and Joy laughed

"Four months is not enough Jonah"

"Oh really?"he asked and Joy laughed before licking her ice-cream

"Twenty questions?"Jonah asked

"I thought we did that on our first date"Joy said

"I want to know more about you,you never told me anything about your family"Jonah said and Joy stir uneasily

"Is that necessary?"Joy asked hoping Jonah will laugh it off and say no

"It is Joy cause I want a future with you"Jonah said and Joy's heart skipped,she never expected Jonah to think about having a future with her damn! Her own thinking have never led her there,she only thought about living the moment

"I have a messy family"Joy stated uneasily,she didn't want to be judged and she's not sure how Jonah is going to take it

"We all do"Jonah replied placing his elbow on the chair and his chin on his palm "I'm all ears Joy,I won't hesitate to share mine too"Joy nodded at this bracing herself up

"Well I have a younger sister,I'm not the only child"she started peeking through her eyelashes to look at Jonah but he seems genuinely interested "I have a mom and a dad too though I haven't seen them for long while"

"They traveled?Jonah asked

"Something like that"Joy replied and look at her melting ice-cream

"For how long?"Jonah asked and Joy chuckled dryly

"It's been six years I last saw them"She said and a tear escaped her eyes

"What the fuck!"Jonah muttered his eyes going wide

"Can we get out of here?"Joy asked and Jonah nodded,they stood up disposing the left over of their ice-cream going to the solitude place around the beach near by were they actually came for their date.they sat on the sand,Joy sighed looking elsewhere but Jonah

"Why will they abandon you like that?"Jonah asked and Joy chuckled dryly once more a tear escaping her eyes again,Jonah saw this and hold her right hand rubbing circles trying to soothing her but the act was useless

"Something happened that six years back, Happiness my younger sister was always the favourite and my parents thought I was jealous of her because of the way I whine a lot but I wasn't I was only playing around till a certain day when my parents decided we visit the beach,she had always been scared of water while I love swimming"Joy stopped trying to wipe away the uncontrollable tears "I asked her to play with me near the bank of the water,we splash water on ourselves and she cried she was scared but I didn't care I wanted her stop being scared of water and enjoy the water,I decided to run away from her though she shouted my name to come back but I never listen I laughed and ran away,one of the greatest mistake of my life I ever did"She stopped she couldn't talk anymore as she bursted out crying out loud

Jonah wrapped his hands around her immediately trying to stop her from crying

"I caused everything Jonathan! I almost had my sister killed!"Joy said crying out more but Jonah shoo her

"It's okay you don't have to tell me anymore"Jonah said and Joy nodded in disagreement

"I'm fine"she said and wiped away the tears in her eyes "when I ran away from her not looking back the next thing I heard was her scream,I rushed back withy parents to meet she was drowning,she is small and couldn't swim and continue galloping in water as she tried to breathe,no one was able to get her out of the water quick because of the current waves,we all thought the water was going to carry her away but luckily enough she was saved and she became unconscious"Joy stop chuckling dryly "my parents got angry and said I have always been jealous of her,they rushed her to the hospital but Nigerian hospital couldn't provide enough and my parents left with her to New York and left me with Ruth"

"Did they ever call you?"Jonah asked

"They never did,they never asked about me but send in enough money to carter for my needs"Joy replied shrugging

"What about your sister,any news about her?"

"I never heard a thing,I don't know if she's alive or not"Joy replied looking distantly

"I will help you"Jonah said looking desperate and Joy eyed him warily thinking about which way he can actually help her

"You can't do anything Jonah"she replied looking away

"Trust me I can,you need to explain yourself to your family and they need to accept you back you need their love and support"Jonah said and Joy smiled sadly "trust me Joy I will always stand by you and look for ways to help you cause I love you"
