THE FORM MASTER WAS pleased with their introduction and the class clapped for them except Anna who had this weird feelings about them

"Take the seat beside that fair young fellow"The form master said to Richard pointing to Jonah,Jonah look okay with it and patted for him to come over which he accepted graciously

"And you behind her"the form master said refering to Desmond who smirk,Anna wasn't comfortable with the fact that one of them is sitting behind her but she acts as calm as she can,the young man came over and sat beside her while their form master rambled, Anna wasn't attentive to what he was saying,the man finally left the class and soon enough the class became noisy again

"Hi my name is Desmond"the guy behind Anna said while Anna rolled her eyes

"I was here when you introduced yourself"she replied

"Oh of course,so can I know your name?"

"Johanna"

"Can I call you Anna?"he asked her

"That's for my friends, Johanna for you"she said standing up,her eyes landed on the black guy whose eyes were on her,he looked at her intensely and she shivered,she left the class immediately with her friends tagging along

They went to their usual hide out sitting down on the available chairs

"Those guys are creepy"Sewa said looking scared

"I thought I was the only one that noticed it,I don't like their vibes and the look they gave me"Anna said shuddering and finally shaking her head

"But they're handsome and tall like Jonah"Joy said smiling while her both friends face palmed

"You are so sick of Jonah,this have been going on since we were in JSS2"Sewa said shaking her head

"I can't believe it,since JSS2?"Anna exclaimed with her eyes wide open

"Oh my! please you girls should leave me alone,I'm free to crush"Joy said folding her hands below her breast that made them pump up a little

"You should know by now Jonah loves model like girls and you don't call what you have for him crush,it's been four fucking years"Sewa said while Anna tried keeping a serious face because she almost bursted into laughter because of what Sewa said and she knows that's going to be bad, Joy won't like it at all

"Are you trying to say I'm fat?"Joy asked looking kind of pissed

"Look at me and look at you,do I need to spell it out for you"Sewa said quite pissed too, she's got tired of Joy's sick behaviour towards Jonah, a boy she thinks will never notice her

"You guys should better stop it now"Anna said trying to avoid them from getting into a fight, it isn't funny anymore

"You're just jealous of me Sewa because I have big hips and big breast,I rather look like this than to look dry like you"Joy said angrily while Anna face palmed,she's not a type that knows how to stop a fight

"Jealous of you indeed"Sewa snickered "it's like you don't know yet how old you look,you look like twenty five where as you're just sixteen,you look older than yourself with your ugly face"Sewa retorted

" I don't understand, is all this nonsense  because of Jonah?! I'm disappointed in you guys!"Anna said standing up

Sewa huffed walking away angrily,Joy broke down as soon as she was gone.  she started crying  while Anna tried to calm her down

"Am I that fat?"Joy asked with glisten eyes while Anna feel more sorry for her

"You're okay Joy"Anna said giving her an encouraging smile while she rolled her eyes like she don't believe her

"Tell me the truth,you're my friend and I need to know, am I fat?"she asked like her life depends on the answer,Anna found this tough and think about a way she can answer her without making her offended or heighten her insecurities

" You are kinda plump a little bit like you're fatter than your age not in a bad way though"Anna rambled hoping she didn't make heighten her insecurities

"I get it"she said and wiped away her tears with determination written in her face "I know what to do now"she said smiling

"Don't do anything stupid Joy,this is the way you were created and many girls out there will die to have this hour glass shape of yours,don't let Sewa's words to get to you,you know how she can say thing she doesn't mean when she's angry"Anna tried to warn her friend

"I promise not to do anything stupid"she smiled as they went back to their class

Joy is a kind of person that doesn't keep malice but Sewa in the other hand can keep malice like her life depends on it,they entered their class and met a teacher already taking the class,the teacher ignored them as they went to take their seat

They had only two classes before break,Anna went to meet Sewa immediately who frowned when she saw her approaching her

"Don't tell me to go and apologize to her because I'm not doing that today"Sewa huffed standing akimbo while Anna only smiled

"You know how sensitive her body topic is and you know how much insecurities she has and you still insulted her with that, you're her best friend. You should know what and what not to say"Anna said sitting on her desk while Sewa rolls her eyes

"She insulted me about my body first,she should be the one apologizing not the other way round"Sewa said taking her school bag

"You know you started it all and also she doesn't keep malice like you so for the sake of the friendship tell her you're sorry and you will never talk about her body again"Anna insisted

"Oh like when she was in Canada she stopped eating,all she ever posted on her Instagram page is all about food"Sewa said slightly annoying Anna

"This is our friend we are talking about here,BFF remember?"Anna said and she rolls her eyes

"She better stop eating too much"Sewa said standing up and walk over to meet Joy, Anna's joy grew as she saw Sewa apologizing to Joy,they hugged each other and Anna chuckled joining the hug

They hold hands in hands as they walk towards the cafeteria to have their lunch

Sewa ordered for fried rice and chicken,Anna ordered for fries with orange juice while Joy ordered for water alone

"Water?"Anna asked showing concerns

"Yes I'm not that hungry"Joy said smiling trying her best not to show how fake it is

Joy wasn't feeling okay,she hates the fact that she's called fat and also goes with the society saying that said slim and beautiful fat and ugly,neither did Joy knew she was beautiful in her own way and many of her mates and others are jealous of her natural gift that celebrities do plastic surgeries to get

The trio sat down in silent as they eat but Joy gulping water,Anna looks at Joy time to time and give her a weird look,Joy was aware of this but pretended Anna knew how much Joy loves to eat,she never says she's not hungry and this kind of baffled her and prayed whatever Sewa said didn't get to her because she's perfect in her own way

The bell rang for end of break and they stood up leaving the cafeteria while Desmond the new students stopped them,Joy look uninterested,Anna almost snarled while Sewa's eyes lightened

"What do you want?"Anna asked as menacingly as she can

"Can you take me round the school,I heard there will be no any other classes for today since today is the first day of resumption"Desmond said with pleading eyes looking directly into Anna's eyes which made her scorn

"Yes we can"Sewa chirped in that left Anna face palming

"So you will leave me with your friend?"Desmond asked looking delighted while Joy tried not to laugh looking at Sewa's face,it was obvious Sewa is whipped

"Yes we can"Joy answered instead dragging Sewa with her who cursed quietly

Anna folded her hands across her chest looking at the new student who made it his life job to pester her

"Where should we start?"she asked

"Any where"he replied and they started walking slowly with silence thick enough for a knife to cut through

"Do you hate me?"Desmond asked making Anna to stop in her tracks

"Why will you say that?"she asked raising her head to meet his eyes,Anna noticed how tall Desmond really is

"You act cold towards me and I'm just trying to make a friend,I don't like being lonely and you know I don't know anyone in this school"Desmond said shrugging

"I thought the other guy, yes! Richard you came from thesame school?"Anna asked standing akimbo

"Richard?"Desmond asked confused and sigh in realisation "you mean Dami we are not really best of friends"he said shrugging again which made Anna questioned in her mind if he does it often

"And you both gained scholarship in this school at the same time,the universe is trying to say something here,it wants you guys to become friends"Anna said earning a heavy laughter from Desmond and one word came through Anna's mind

"Don't tell me you believe in those things called fate?"he asked

"Of course I do,it's already destined for you to come to this school and it's already destined for me to have this talk with you"Anna said smirking wrapping her hands around herself while Desmond smiles shaking his head

"You're quite a character"he commented

"So are you"Anna found herself smiling contagiously which left Desmond smiling,they resumed their walk walking quietly when suddenly Anna broke the silence

"I do not hate you,I am not a kind of person that relates with strangers just like that"Anna said

"Really?"Desmond asked amused while Anna only smiled

"Then we should stop being on stranger levels"Desmond concluded making Anna to glance at him

"Then?"Anna asked obviously enjoying her conversation with him

"Why don't we become friends?"he asked and Anna acted like she was thinking for awhile

"Why don't it sound like a bad idea?"she said and they both ended up laughing

"I really like your presence already, I'm proud I made the right choice"Desmond said

"You should you should"Anna replied and they became quiet once more

Anna shows him around the school,she takes him to the school library, stadium,theater, laboratories and many more which left Desmond concluded that this is the biggest school he has ever seen

Anna and Desmond exchange contacts later and waved each other goodbye as they both entered the class to pick their bags,Anna hugged her friends goodbye and left the class waiting at their usual spot before Mr Yemisi comes to pick them up

Soon enough James arrived and Jonah followed after before the familiar car pull over and they all went inside with Anna thinking about how long the day was and the other thing in her mind is food,she wanted to eat,she's sure Tara must have prepared late lunch for them at least before her mom comes home and prepare dinner for the family
