ava's pov

"i'm absolutely dreading having those alexander boys in our classes now" i said as i walked into chemistry with kari and meredith.

"why couldn't they just torture another private school?" meredith complained.

"i just hope they don't distract me because chemistry is not my game right now" kari explained just as we sat down.

a few of the boys were already in here and we already distracting the girls by flirting with them, and causing their mouths to disgustingly drool.

"oh hey, it's my princess" that dirty-blonde dude, who spilt kari's lunch earlier, walked in with his tanned friend and the other blonde one.

he creepily smiled at us all and all three of them came to sit on the empty seats around us. great.

"there are other seats in the room, you know" meredith stated since the way they were surrounding us was a bit uncomfortable.

"yeah, but they're not next to you babe" the shorter blonde winked, which just caused meredith's cheeks to blush completely red.

"wait, did i not tell you earlier that my name isn't princess?" kari whipped around to face the tall blonde as he was seated directly behind her.

he leant forward over his table, coming close towards her.

"i know babe. it's kari. kari phillips" he repeated. "wanna know my name?".

"no, not really" she quickly responded, but was focused on getting ready to take down notes, just as mrs giles walked in.

"good morning class," mrs giles announced. "since we were welcomed with new students from alexander, i would like us all to get to know them better. so if the young men would care to begin introducing themselves to us, salvatore girls, that would be great. let's start with you, sir"

she pointed at of course, mr dirty-blonde, and we all turned our heads waiting for him to speak.

"what's up. i'm samuel wilkinson. but everyone calls me sammy or of course, daddy to the ladies" the girls helplessly giggled at his stupid nickname, whereas the other alexander boys cheered for him as he winked exactly in kari's direction.

"give me a break," i said under my breathe.

"and i'm jack. jack gilinsky" the tanned friend announced after.

"and i'm also jack. but jack johnson" the blonde added.

the introduction of the alexander pigs went on for another five minutes until we had heard all of their names, not that i would remember any, and the lesson finally began.

gilinsky's pov

i leant across the aisle in between my seat and kari's red-haired friend's seat, as the teacher had her back towards us.

"hey babe, come here often?" i spoke.

"yeah, but it doesn't really seem like you do" she dissed back, not taking her eyes off of her notes.

i laughed at her snide comment. "i'm jack, by the way".

"i know. i was here half an hour ago" she looked up, seeming completely bothered by me speaking to her but i mean, girls who play hard to get is what i like to be honest.

it keeps things interesting and challenging.

"so what's your name?" i asked.

"if i tell you, will you leave me alone?" she wondered, not giving me eye contact once again.

"maybe," i said, biting my lip.

"it's ava, lockwood".

"you see, i like the ava part, but gilinsky would probably sound better for the second".

"wooooow" she mockingly laughed. "typical. i know guys like you. you think that i'm just playing hard to get and will play these idiotic mind games with me, until i finally crack and get into bed with you. but guess what, gilinsky? i'm not playing hard to get. i'm just not interested".

i leant back into my seat, a smirk on my face and looked back up at the board. "we'll see about that, lockwood".

kari's pov

i was focused on copying down all of the important things that mrs giles was telling us, also with the somewhat loud conversation that ava and jack gilinsky were having in front of me.

but this was all until someone tapped me on the shoulder, and i turned my head to of course, be greeted by sammy.

"hey, do you have a spare pen?" he whispered with a tiny smile on the corner of his pink lips. i sighed and handed him the extra pen.

i was just about to get back to work until he tapped me again.

i breathed out heavily at the constant bothering, and turned around. "yes?".

"so, do you come here often?" he licked his lips at me, and i raised my eyebrow at how he possibly thought that that pick-up line was still as smooth as before.

"bro, i just used that line," gilinsky turned his head to whisper behind him. "and it doesn't work".

i laughed quietly. "hey sammy, maybe if you actually payed attention to the lesson, you might find a chemical formula that will help you find some originality".

i saw jack johnson smirking at my comeback since he was beside sammy, and patted him on the back as i turned back in my seat.

johnson's pov

i couldn't help but laugh at the comment that kari made towards sammy. she looked at me and we laughed together before she focused back on the lesson.

wow. she has a really great smile. one that weirdly enough made my heart feel different and made me feel comfortable, and you don't get that with many girls. but i guess that wilk already has dibs on her.

i was tapping my pen against my notebook, completely bored out of my mind in chemistry and was trailing my eyes across the room, just as i caught eye contact with one of kari's friends, the one that blushed when i winked at her earlier.

she was sat on the left hand side of me, but a seat forward, and she quickly glanced away when she saw me notice.

the girl looked back once again and this time i gave her a tiny wave and smile, and she did the same.

"what's your name?" i mouthed to her.

"meredith," she whispered.

"that's nice," i replied and smiled one last time before facing the front again.

hey, she's actually really pretty.

meredith's pov

"that's nice," he replied and i smiled at him before facing the front again.

meredith, you can't fall for him ok. you cannot fall for an alexander boy. even though he's being sweet right now and did call you babe earlier, they're only intentions are to have sex with you. i spoke to myself, but i just couldn't get the image of his smile out of my head or how crazy the butterflies in stomach were when he winked at me.

"boys, can you please pay attention to the lesson and stop throwing things across the classroom?" mrs giles called out, quickly snapping me out of my thoughts.

i noticed that sammy and the jacks were playing catch with a ball of paper, right over kari and ava's heads.

"i swear to god, if you through that paper one more time. it'll end up where the fucking sun don't shine," ava angrily yelled.

"shit. feisty girls are sexy" gilinsky mentioned, slowly licked his lips.

"oooo, i'm getting threatened by a little salvatore girl" sammy mockingly cackled and high-fived both the boys.

ava shook her head and sat back against her seat. "you're gonna wish you didn't say that, wilkinson".

"ok, ok, settle down. another word out of you, four and it'll be a detention" mrs giles finalised, then allowed the lesson to continue.
