chantelle's pov

"i can't believe we're actually doing this," i quietly squealed as kari, ava, meredith and i creeped through the hallways to get to the cafeteria back door, since that was the one that was always unlocked.

"me neither. who would of known that a group of alexander boys would get to me so much that they'd convince me to sneak out at ten pm?" ava said.

"guys, i'm just scared that—" meredith almost spoke until my phone rang extremely loud in my pocket, making me panic and struggle to answer.

"quick, turn it off!" kari whispered loudly.

"i'm trying!" i complained just as i got hold of the phone and answered nate's call.

"hello?...we just reached the cafeteria, we're almost out...don't rush me! who the hell do you think you're talking to?...no, i won't fucking calm dow—" i frustratedly whispered just as ava snatched the phone off me.

"we'll be there in five minutes ok, bye" she quickly spoke and hung up, nudging past me to take the lead.

we finally got out of the school building, and were hurrying through the field to reach the fence that the boys would be waiting at.

"what took you so long?" sammy angrily asked.

"it doesn't matter. what does is how we are getting through this thing?" ava questioned while pulling at the wire to see if it could break.

"you jump over, duh" gilinsky whispered and we all shot him a look.

"nah uh, there is no way that i am climbing and jumping over this huge fence. fuck it" kari backed out.

"don't be such a baby. i'll catch you" johnson assured, winking at kari. um, i wonder what that was all about. i quietly thought to myself, but i eventually threw my bag over the fence, ready to start climbing.

"ok, i'm first" i announce, as i began clinging onto the railings, praying silently that i wouldn't fall and crack my head open.

i reached the top, trying my best to not look down and sat on the edge. hesitating to jump.

"shit, this is high" i announced.

"babe, jump" nate said at the bottom. him and the others had their arms out, ready to hopefully catch me. i didn't want to pause a second longer so i pushed myself off the fence, with my eyes screwed shut and landed safely on the other side.

it was ava's turn next, but she obviously sat at the top for about 10 minutes, instructing and raging at the boys on where exactly to stand and how to hold their arms out.

then kari came next, who made the boys swear that they'd catch her and won't do some mean ass prank where they, well, don't. and all that was left was meredith.

"come on mere, you have to do this. we have to go, now" ava told her while the rest of us impatiently stood on the other side.

"i'm sorry. i'm not a monkey, i don't climb. you guys go without me" she said, picking up her bag and getting ready to go back inside the school. "i promise i won't rat you out. i'm just not jumping off a fence because—"

"meredith, if you don't get your-fucking-self over this fucking fence now, i will gladly climb over, and fucking throw you over myself!" nate frustratedly interrupted her and we watched meredith's eyes go huge at his anger, but it worked since she chucked her bag over and began climbing.

"nathaniel, you really need to learn how to control your anger," meredith sang as she made her way up, and i watched nate glare at me since i was the one who told the girls what his full name actually is.

meredith eventually got to the top and it didn't take as long for us to convince her to jump, but she did it and we all quietly hurried to the main road, a little down the street, and got into sammy's car before speeding away.

johnson's pov

sammy drove his car, i sat in the passenger seat, the girls squashed in the middle seats, and then gilinsky and nate were sat in the further back.

i rolled my window down a little and plugged the aux cord into my phone, turning up the volume to preach by drake and partynextdoor.

"so have you guys ever actually been to this club before?" chantelle asked.

"nope. but there's a first for everything," sammy replied.

"okay, you douches need to look away now because we still have to get changed" ava demanded and we did as we were told. well i know i did, not so sure about the others though.

i assumed that they were done now since it had been fifteen minutes, so i looked straight ahead at the road and glimpsed at the rearview mirror, accidentally catching eye contact with kari as she slipped her top on.

she looked quite stunned so i quickly turned my head, embarrassed that i saw her briefly naked. but i glimpsed back once more, meeting with her brown eyes again and this time, she giggled at me, just like in chemistry.

kari's pov

as soon as i slipped my white bralette on, jack johnson looked straight at me through the rearview mirror. i covered myself instantly, leaving him with this somewhat adorable and embarrassed face.

his cheeks stayed red, but seconds past and he looked back. this time, i giggled at him and he bit his lip before looking away.

this is the second time that we've had this little smiling/laughing moment, and they make me feel all weird and bubbly inside, but i kind of like it. also, johnson's the least fuckboy out of all of them, and i like that too. but i don't know if he's really my type of guy.
